Food wasn’t mixed verry nice and to chilly taken the nice flavour out usally love there food but cold and not to nice today sorry

They took the money but didn't bother to deliver the food

Chicken burger was pink inside! It was meant to be a spicy burger but was a normal fillet with hot sauce. I chucked it away as soon as first bite felt off. Looked and saw it was severely undercooked. I have never been before until this visit Saturday 3rd August. I found out today they have changed their name from Chicken Cottage, which was a one star hygiene establishment. This place should be shut down.

It took over an hour for delivery plus i didnt get all my order i rang them and they put the phone down and sent me 6 chicken wings even know it says on here u get more different chicken wings wont order again

Hi don't really bother with reviews but I have to warn other people ordered 2 from here 1st was okay but a little weird taste then 2 time the chicken stunk really bad fillet burger the meat was hard as rock and could tell it was old don't bother ordering not worth it

Chicken pretty decent but very slow. The service was friendly. A bit too pricey.

Attended this place for first time last week tables were full of rubbish and the bin was rammed full of rubbish which needed to be emptied ! Food menu was very limited mite as well had been closed for the sake of the service and everything ! Chicken burger was nice and food was great could do with better selection of drinks though !

Vile, chicken was dry was hard as rock unediable. Wraps had no flavour what so ever everything that was cooked was terrible. Best part was the side of salad.

Awful. Little chicken in the wrap and horrible fillings, no chips and paid £40 for 3 meal deals. Wouldn't recommend

My sister ordered through deliveroo, half the order was missing, chips (the ones that did arrive) were cold, soggy and needed salt, sides were cold and the wraps had no flavour, no filling, chicken was cold and again soggy inside. Really poor food and quality, didn’t offer any resolution. Avoid.

Absolute shambles, wouldn’t feed this my dog, chicken was like eating a welly, not suprised if it’s not chicken, more than likely pigeon, bum is absalutly wrote off, chicken nest? More like pigeon breast, cannot belive it, will never eat from here again

Ordered via deliveroo for delivery, both chicken burgers and chicken wrap was raw, blatantly Aswell with bright pink blood on the chicken still, avoid!!!!!

The best chicken wings I've had in years! flavourful, so crispy that it's crunchy coating, just now I like it. Went far beyond just satisfying my craving for wings. Will definitely order again.

Second time in a row we have ordered this deal where the 18 wings are missing! When you call the old man is not willing to accept mistake and tries to justify it! Very bad customer service! First time of ordering the other man admitted fault and sent the wings but this time the old man refused and even refused to acknowledge the deal they’re offering their self! Now a family of 4 are sat here with only half their order! 1/10 stay away

Fantastic food- we ordered late but the quality of the food was still great. The chicken strips and rice were well seasoned! This is definitely going to be a regular for us! 👍🏽

Fries dry and cold. Had Sweet chilli chicken burger which should entail a chicken fillet coated in sweet chilli sauce, instead there was a small splodge of sweet chilli sauce on the buns. Waste of money sorry

Always something missing, even when it when it was Trading under a previous name. And they don't like it when you want to do a refund through Just Eat for said missing items. Naan bread is not a naan bread but 2 shop brought tortillas and 'signature' chilli sauce is sachets of Lichfields sauce... was you actually receive in your delivery isn't bad, good luck getting it all though

This is my favourite takeaway in all of Telford. The food is always fresh and hot and for a great price. Keep it up guys, can't wait to order from you again!

Chicken is nice for the most part, some of the breast/off the bone bits were a bit overcooked and dry. Chips were good. Forgot my milkshake though ☹️

Propper London style chicken cottage. Only one I could find in shrewsbury or telford!!!! Food was good about £5 for 6 wings and chips with a drink, which is a little steep for what it is, but with price increases its about right. Inside is still being done up with works going on, Service was a little slow compared to a London chicken shop, the wings were already made and I still waited about 10 minutes just for chips and a drink, I also gave the first drink back as there was sauce on the bit you drink from.

With my first I had waited over 3 hours, made numerous phone calls and I still didn’t receive my order.

Ordered food around 9 o'clock but it never turned up, no thought to try and contact us that our food wasn't going to be arriving. Seriously if your thinking about spending your hard earned money here...DONT!!! Go literally any where else. Had these sorts of issues before with this restaurant and this will be the last time

The chicken was mediocre, the chips were soggy very disappointed by the food I got, I also got the jalapeño cheese bites they were absolutely mank never ordering from here again

We've ordered quite a few times from Chicken Cottage. However, service has been really inconsistent. They hire staff on the front desk who have no clue how to serve a customer. If you order food, you could be waiting for over 2 hours. You get inconsistent reasons as to why. One phone call they advise they're waiting for a driver to come and collect the food, next phone call they advise its on its way for it to take a further 30 or 40 minutes. When speaking to the driver, he advised that the printer wasn't working....... When the food did get to us, it was cold. Simple communication is all that's needed to advise it needed us to pick up the food, and they refused refund. Safe to say, they won't be receiving my money anymore, taking into account how many times this has happened.

Jess and his brother are fantastic, such great customer service from them. They are very calm and relaxed great personality from these too. Great multi tasking and cleaning as they go as fast food places should be kept. Also the older uncle I believe is the franchise owner very friendly too. I have travelled here from London and I plan on visiting again most definitely. Tha m you to you all

Waited over 2 hours for food. 3 phone calls later, it arrives cold and not the correct order. Told food was delayed, would be leaving in 5 mins and still nothing after half hour. Ring half hour later and told driver on way. It was ridiculous. Staff apologise but didn't seem to care.

Wrong food sent and missing items. The ice cream was just defrosted and refrozen ice and inedible. Poor response when i phoned.. no apology and no offer of refund, food anything really. Still waiting for a response from email.

Customer service 0/10 they always miss out items and if you try and call to resolve any issues they just lie to you and tell you to wait for the driver for 10-15 mins. Unreliable place to order food from there’s better options around but if not just go and collect.

Need to re-do online menus. When selecting breaded chicken fillet burger, options given are mild or spicy so would assume this is the spice of the fillet burger. Does not state that a ‘spicy’ burger is in fact a plain chicken fillet burger covered in hot chilli sauce not requested or advertised! Also advertise canned drinks but then send cheap alternatives/wrong drink. Also advertise bbq beans but then send cold basic plain beans.

A very late request order, but it arrived with hot lovely selection of chicken and drinks. The poor delivery driver tripped, I hope he didn’t injure himself.

First time ordered, missing items! Thought I would give them another go and again missing items. When I rang up to enquire where my missing items were they were not prepared to do anything to rectify it then and said when I next ordered they would add some extras. I said I wouldn’t be ordering again. My daughter has harassed me for a chicken cottage takeaway for a couple of weeks so thought they’ve got to get it right this time so placed a order …. Hour passes and nothing so call to enquire, to be told they had not printed off my order! I asked how long it would take and was told 20mins, I asked him to make sure I receive everything I order as last two times I have not and he reassures I’ll receive everything in 20 minutes. 2 hours after I order it arrives and guess what …. Missing items!! I will never order from here again.

Absolutely abysmal! Missing the peri fries, phoned them up and they weren't willing to correct their own mistake, even though it showed I had ordered them, and the food came cold and horrible. will NOT be using these ever again!

By calling yourself Cottage Chicken I expected a little more effort in the food, not something i can make in half an hour at home for goodness sake.

Absolutely vile.. Waited 10 minutes for them to prepare a 3 piece medley meal.. EVERYTHING was lukewarm and the "fresh strips" were dry and obviously washed in chlorine.

The peri peri chicken is so watered down, they might as well grill it with water and salt. Chips were soggy, no salt. Just poor. I really liked chicken cottage. I have never found a franchise as good as the one in Oxford, Cowley.

Honestly the foods fine I just can't cope the the inane lack of customer service any longer. Regularly order from here and a don't think a single delivery has been completed with out some form of issue. Tonight's was just the cherry on top. 20 minutes after our expected delivery slot which was already an hour after ordering and no sign of delivery so I call, I'm told yeah driver is out with the delivery nd then they just hang up. OK w.e it's on its way...right? No. A further 20 minutes later we get a call from them saying its delivered you were the guy in white shorts...I explain that I'm not a man nor am I wearing white, they then go on about not having an order for us?! I offer the order number several times until finally the person on the phone writes it down says they have to make a call and then promptly hangs up again. Finally in fairness to them the food arrives, and the driver is very apologetic.

Where do I start from! The chicken nuggets were soggy. The chicken burger was salty, uncooked & tasteless. The peri peri grill burger came as 3 grilled chicken strips. A bad experience.....never again!!

Did order before, was very nice food and delivered to my address! Now they changed something on app and I can't order anymore, it's showing I'm too far away. Try to ring local shop they said can't do discount which I have on app... Useless place want to charge me £10 more... Telford shop avoid it... WILL NEVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM...

Excellent owner, takes real interest in his business and customers. Clean environment and food preparation is up to standards.

Ordered a delivery of a chicken wrap, a lamb wrap and a burger. Lamb and chicken looked exactly the same, daughter who has an intolerance to lamb had a bite of her 'chicken ' wrap and vomited within seconds. Called them, they advised it would be 2 hours before they could get anything out to us so we said we could take it to them, they wanted all food returning so we did even with bites taken from each. All they did was re wrap the food and put a bit of fresh salad. Have sent the 'chicken ' to be analysed.

Highly recommended. Ordered spicy chicken and those lovely roasted potatoes. Well made and tasted delicious. Friendly service was great. Thanks to Chloe for her competency and also Dan. Well done guys! :D

We had Chicken Tikka in Naan Bread and Lamb Seekh Kebab in Naan. Meal cost slightly less than a tenner, great but the meat was a bit on the light side. Also salad was nice, not too much, but weren't asked what or amount to put on the naan. Sauce also came with the naans and must say lightly added but just the way I like it, but again the theme of this, no choice given. Must say on the positive, the naan was one of the best tasting naans we've ever had. Can't complain with the price though would add if you gave a big appetite then order two. Have ordered the same food mentioned earlier recently via takeaway and seemed like there was more meat this time. Again the naan is to die for and not mentioning the meat earlier it is tender and so tasty. There are other foods on the menu but would recommend the kebabs on a naan, delicious.

Really nice fresh food. Might seem a bit expensive but the food is miles better than Nando’s and half the price. So what you waiting for ... I always get half a chicken meal! Try the red fizzy fruit soda. Hummmmm

Best chicken shop in Telford. Friendly staff and great service.

Never been there before but have known the owner for years. My wife had some with some friends last week who couldn't praise it more so had some today as quick alternative to cooking. Was miles better than KFC and will definitely be returning for more.

I am the man with the Silver BMW.. since i moved from London to Telford this is my only chicken shop stop. I used to live in Shrewsbury and would drive purposely down for my chicken craving. Good service even when busy. Food is alway well cooked and what i would expect.

I wish I could give it no stars whatsoever. We ordered a 3 musketeer's meal via chicken cottages own website and categorically stated we didn't want any salad or sauces on two of the burgers. We went into collect the meal and thought we would just double check and guess what? They had put sauce on the burgers. How they rectified this issue was by simply going in the back and wiping off a little mayonnaise which we only realised when we got home and got the food out. We phoned them straight away and made them aware of the situation to which they replied "phone head office & make a complaint.
