Charge for the tiniest bit of mayo,after spending 20.00 pounds plus also having to spend £1.20 on the smallest coleslaw to make my meal less dry I think is absolutely greedy .. too expensive for what it is…waste of money. Far better takeaways on Anlaby Road

A nightmare experience. Annoying staff member. No respect for customers. Food also is not fresh.

Not nice at all! All gone in the bin! When chicken is covered in seasoning salt there’s a problem ! Old, tasteless, overcooked ! Red flag for me I’m afraid ! Have always ordered from this place but, last two deliveries rubbish ! Safe to say not anymore .

I went in ordered 2 special offer ones the hot wings was missing half the batter I found a long blonde hair inside my chicken the order was rushed and cold asked for extra chip spice on the chips I never got that the chips was also cold !! Only takes me 2 minutes to get home two of your staff members have blonde hair as I’m a regular customer

Well I did go here all the time until realising I always order the same and every single time the price was always different day or night different price all the time, and the women with the blonde hair, guy was putting chips into the box. they serve chips in and the blonde tall women was saying no no really quite and pass him a really small box burger box saying this one, I have never had chips in this box she was passing him, only a burger. it was clear to me that they just charge you anything and give you a small box so looks like you have more, nothing but ripping people off.

SCAM - paid on their website in full. Went to collect food and was told its not their website; despite it showing on Google, with their number, address, prices and pictures of the store. The manager told us we would receive a refund but this has not happened 3 full working days later!

Last night i ring to then 5 time but they answer the but they just play they didn’t talk i was think maybe samethink wrong with my and then i ring buy different phone but still was the same i will never ever ring to them again or go to ther get any food so sorry to them

Really gone down the pan. Just rip you off. Undercooked chips, fillet is so dry and feels like it's been sat going dry for hours, and really small portion. Never again.

Pop corn chicken gave me food poisonin.

Very poor service. I placed an order on behalf of one of my service users at an assisted living facilityfacility, they waited in the reception area for it. The food was delivered to the street opposite, when I tried to call them to inform them of their error I kept having the phone put down on me. The kind woman who had been delivered the food called me to inform me so I could collect it for my service user. Chicken George did nothing to help. When I did finally get to speak to someone properly, they didn't listen and said they don't need to do anything now because I got my order. Appalling. I would have given 0 stara.

I have been waiting for this delicious quality of food for 23 years... I used to live in CITY MK.. when something similar shut down due to financial reasons... and I have finally found the same if not better quality in Chicken George 🍗🍔🍟. Chicken 🍗 was absolutely amazing, chips 🍟 was gorgeous and the sticky ribs 🍖.... OMG to die for. Would definitely recommend this to anyone... and as a bonus I have heard via Facebook that there is one being built near me.... Oh.. Happy 😊 days.. mmmmm

First time I've tried from here and had a mixture chicken wings chicken popcorn and pieces of chicken it was cooked perfectly and the crispy coating was very tasty will definitely have again

Just love those spicy chicken wings! We usually go for a six-piece box, with chips of course - half of them with and half without Hull's greatest export; Chip Spice! I have tried much from their menu and been happy with it all.

Since 1996 When I feel the need to get naughty I come to Chicken George. Out of context, this place should be shut down as it delivers nothing but pure gluttony, at least that's how you feel but the price and taste makes up for its demeanour. I would seriously recommend the spicy wings, they may have been static for a lifetime, but they are wonderfully majestic. Cheap, fried, all that you need when craving that fried food stuff. Go on the busiest times, the chicken is very fresh. Peak times probably are Fri - Sun tea times. They are really busy when Hull FC or Hull City Play.

I've visited this place many times and while I've always had a pleasant experience it's certainly not the best restaurant you'll ever visit. It's recently had a much needed refurbishment and looks very clean. The prices ain't bad and the food's ok. It's no KFC but it'll fill a hole after the pub!

Got my order wrong asked for chicken wrap meals only got the wraps and drinks no chips, chicken was dry hardly any lettuce on my wrap, gone down hill! Wouldn't go here again!

Went in for a takeout. It was mid afternoon ish. I just wanted some food. However didn't like the look of chicken and it's smell but was hungry so I got it. Went home to a worse takeout ever. There was allot of chips spice. Didn't wanted that much. And the chicken was off. My wife who's pregnant literally vomited after having couple of bites of chicken. But I will give it one more try before I stop ordering from there.

Always use the Chicken George in the town centre because this one on Anlaby Road has gone down hill.Bought chicken and chips for all the family and wish id asked for a refund. Chips were overcooked and the chicken was disgusting. Over salty and overcooked as well as being stored for that long it had gone hard onder the coating. The breast meat was so dry my kids couldnt eat it. Absolute disgrace. These people should know better.Staff work in trackies and trainers and the front of shop is foul. Wish id kept the food to upload a picture of it.

Tasty but took 1 hour and 30 minutes to arrive for hot chicken roll and chips was only warm too won't be ordering again
