Very good chicken finger lickin Best in Telford New kebab shopping openings too hopefully going to be banging!!

I wasn’t sent cookie dough like I ordered and paid for

the food is nice, but was very late and when I rang up the man was really rude :/ probably won't order here again .

Disappointed firstly food took an hour and a half to come and the sauce was spilled all over the food terrible service. Do better next time if there even is a next time

i have not received my food i think they have delivered to the wrong adress!

I ordered half Peri chicken with chips and Cottage rice plus my partners food both chips was cold the cottage rice was plain rice to be fair which look like couscous more than rice even though I paid for the cottage rice the sources which I actually got this time which multiple times before I haven’t got and it looks like they are taking it off somebodys table from the restaurant and put it in my order it really is a shame this place used to be amazing now it’s probably one of the worst places I’ve ordered from

Food took 2 hours to arrive , when it did arrive fries were cold , burgers messy and thrown together

Burgers were undercooked, lettuce was browning and slimey, sides were poor quality, part of the order was missing, and one of the chicken burgers had a huge bone in that my partner nearly choked on! Absolutely not worth the money or time it took to deliver.

Chicken was pink and soggy and the bed was soggy the chips tasted like the was out from the day before and was really dry, the gravy was solid, would not recommend especially for the price as well

Food was later than stated. When food arrived we were missing several parts of the order inc sides of wings , corn and gravy. Food was standard.

One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had ordered food, ordered 2 meals, after a 45 minute delay it arrived and was wrong, the drive (who was very kind and helpful) went and got the right order (another 25 minutes waiting) Brought it back but it was stone cold, my boneless chicken burger had bones in it. They were missing the extra cheese and peri salt we paid for. Although the driver was really nice, I will never order for here again.

Won't be ordering a delivery from here again. We literally live less than a 2 minute drive from the restaurant and yet we've just had soggy, cold chips! Not fresh or crispy at all. We ordered the large chips and they were literally tiny portion. The corn on the cob came stone cold like it had been cooked and stored in the fridge!! I ordered a meal deal which included 3 spicy wings and they forgot them from my order! I've called 4 times and they're not answering the phone. I'll never use chicken cottage again.

Called restaurant said on way after being late over 15-29 mins finally arrived cold

Placed order at 6.22pm it's not 8.02pm and still waiting. Phoned up chicken cottage and wey unhelpful with cant be bothered attitude.

Absolutely disgusted with this company’s overall “service”. Waited an hour and still didn’t have a notification to say a driver was on the way. After a while of waiting even longer I tried to call the restaurant however it kept saying “User busy” and I rang 50 times and still had no answer. Then I ended up going back into the Just Eat app to check to see if there was an update and it didn’t say it had been delivered but said “enjoy your food” and gave me the option to rate my order even though we haven’t received anything! Shocking service.

Once again I paid for peri peri fries, and once again regular fries are delivered. Otherwise good food and on time delivery.

paid for a double burger, due to the options on the menu, it makes you pick twice so you can add 2 extra patties. last time i paid for 2 extra and they got missed off, this time i paid for 1 extra, and it got missed off. Can't fault the food, but regularly miss off parts of order. Which is unfortunate because they never used too.

Awful food, service was really slow as there was nothing cooked ready. Was happy to wait if it meant it would be fresh. The food had zero flavour, hairs all over and in the food, totally inedible. Place inside is tatty and dirty, so didn’t fill me with confidence (would of loved to have been proven wrong). Whoever is putting ‘better than Nando’s’ and all the other raving looks dodgy to me. Hope they can sort it out as Telford needs a really good takeaway chicken place that isn’t KFC or Nando’s. Basically waited 20mins and threw £10 in the bin.

Missed a burger. chips were cold and when the burger arrived that was cold

We were waiting for a long time, and the delivery time kept getting pushed back. When it did arrive, we were disappointed to find that we’d been sent an incorrect burger; we ordered a mountain burger but were given a spicy mountain burger instead. It was so hot that we couldn’t eat it.

Food came really fast and tasted very nice.

Food was late this evening. Chips and all sides were stone cold in all 3 meals , all 3 burgers were luke warm at best. Salad added to a burger that was asked not to. Very strange as chicken cottage is normally our go to place because the food is good and arrives quickly. Real let down tonight

As a family we have always liked the chicken cottage and the food was tasty if I’m honest it’s just that the food always seems a bit on the cold side but we soon reward it many thanks to the chicken cottage staff and delivery staff

Called three time and asked the whereabouts for my food and lady said it will be with you next 5minutes but got delivered 45mins lates and chips was soggy,

Food wasn't ready until I went in to the store, on entering the store the owner and staff were slamming doors and screaming and shouting at each other using offensive language

Food was just over 2 hours late I know it was Christmas and might of been a little busy but half my order was missing and food was stone cold aswel called to let them know about the missing items and food was cold and they said get a refund of just eat not not offered to deliver items or anything ordering from here again I'd advise people go to Pepe's peri peri instead rant over

Chicken cottage have great ingredients to start with, but tonight they went above and beyond. The driver didn’t have the drink with him. So he first went to the local shop, which was unfortunately closed. So he went to him house nearby to get a can of Pepsi. Can’t say enough good things tonight!!!

We ordered at 16.45 for collection at 17.30. I arrived 5 mins early. I got the notification on my phone to say my order was ready (GREAT) Here’s where the experience turned… In the restaurant after my food was 5 mins late I was told it will be a few mins After 10 ten mins I was it would be 3 mins. It then was 17.50 (food late by 20 mins) I was given a drink after what I presume was management who was telling staff to hurry with my order and it will be 2 mins… After been told a few mins so many times I eventually got my food at 18.15 that’s 45 mins late. That’s me stood there like a lemon Totally unacceptable. And really annoyed I was kept been told 2 mins 3mins etc

Over an hour late for the food, gave up, asked for a refund through paypal and we went to bed hungry.

The guys as Chicken Cottage never fail to serve a great takeaway, hot, tasty and on time, what more could you want!

Not only did the young lady on the phone have an attitude when I tried to explain I'd been calling for a while and they're may be a problem with the phones, you then sent the wrong order to which couldn't be eaten at all due to allergies, for me to have to speak to 3 people, 2 of which (the first person I spoke to and the last person the manager) were very rude. Was told I'd be getting a refund to which I was then refused because the manager didn't want to spend £3 out of his pocket because food hub take that from him. I then went through food hub like the manager told me to and they told me I had to go through the restaurant for it. So the manager clearly lied to me to not have to give a refund back because they can't get a customers order right. We come to chicken cottage for food weekly. We don't usually have it delivered and the one time we do, you've now lost a regular customer. Poor manners, poor service. Foods amazing. Just a shame about the terrible customer service and the horrendous attitudes on the staff member and manager.

Chicken cottage is literally the best place to go for chicken always ordering from I always order the peri peri wrap honestly better the Nandos and alot cheaper and the apple pies are the bomb

Should probably be called ‘mystery cottage’ because regardless of what you order you have no idea what you’re getting or when you’re getting it. Despite this, the food is generally pretty nice. If you aren’t massively hungry and like a surprise I’d say this is decent choice of take away.

The burger bun was stale and not fresh and the fries were cold, sadly the chicken was dry. Nice onion rings that’s about it

The order was wrong and missing some items. Despite asking for burgers without lettuce and mayonnaise they still arrived with them on meaning that my autistic partner was unable to eat their meal. The fries were also wrong as despite paying the extra 50p for the piri fires they arrived plain. Additionally the side of beans and all sauces were missing.

Missed off chocolate cake and wrap. Chicken cottage are usually 10/10. Just forgot half of our food this time.

I have ordered from here several times and never had an issue. Today was a different story. My food was atrociously late, which is irritating when you have 2 children that you want to get fed, bathed and in bed. The half roast chicken was more like a half roast sparrow, barely any meat on it. One of the 6 chicken nuggets, was actually a chilli cheese bite, which my 3 year old son was FU***NG chuffed about when he bit into it !! Only just stopped pouring milk into his mouth because of how spicy it was, And the chips were cold!!! Disgusted

Had to Ring restaurant to find out where food was as it took 30 mins to get to me after leaving the restaurant ( its only 10 mins away by car ! ) Part of order missing tried to ring restaurant again but can’t get through ! Food quality was ok nothing special !

Multiple missing items, plus delivered items wrong. VERY overcooked fillet burger, tough, dry, could hardly chew it. Basically inedible, even smothered in sauce. Not happy, wish I’d ordered kfc. They’ve promised to send out the missing items so we’ll see. Won’t be ordering again.
