Chicken Cottage in Telford and Wrekin

Very good chicken finger lickin Best in Telford New kebab shopping openings too hopefully going to be banging!!

Won't be ordering a delivery from here again. We literally live less than a 2 minute drive from the restaurant and yet we've just had soggy, cold chips! Not fresh or crispy at all. We ordered the large chips and they were literally tiny portion. The corn on the cob came stone cold like it had been cooked and stored in the fridge!! I ordered a meal deal which included 3 spicy wings and they forgot them from my order! I've called 4 times and they're not answering the phone. I'll never use chicken cottage again.

Awful food, service was really slow as there was nothing cooked ready. Was happy to wait if it meant it would be fresh. The food had zero flavour, hairs all over and in the food, totally inedible. Place inside is tatty and dirty, so didn’t fill me with confidence (would of loved to have been proven wrong). Whoever is putting ‘better than Nando’s’ and all the other raving looks dodgy to me. Hope they can sort it out as Telford needs a really good takeaway chicken place that isn’t KFC or Nando’s. Basically waited 20mins and threw £10 in the bin.

Not only did the young lady on the phone have an attitude when I tried to explain I'd been calling for a while and they're may be a problem with the phones, you then sent the wrong order to which couldn't be eaten at all due to allergies, for me to have to speak to 3 people, 2 of which (the first person I spoke to and the last person the manager) were very rude. Was told I'd be getting a refund to which I was then refused because the manager didn't want to spend £3 out of his pocket because food hub take that from him. I then went through food hub like the manager told me to and they told me I had to go through the restaurant for it. So the manager clearly lied to me to not have to give a refund back because they can't get a customers order right. We come to chicken cottage for food weekly. We don't usually have it delivered and the one time we do, you've now lost a regular customer. Poor manners, poor service. Foods amazing. Just a shame about the terrible customer service and the horrendous attitudes on the staff member and manager.

Chicken cottage is literally the best place to go for chicken always ordering from I always order the peri peri wrap honestly better the Nandos and alot cheaper and the apple pies are the bomb

had some superb piri piri chicken for lunch today from here, with roast potatoes, onion rings and coleslaw,various heat piri piri sauces and garlic sauces, we both thoroughly enjoyed it, and it was delivered spot on time that was requested,thank you.

Love the food from here every time ordered. Had normally ordered through UBer, but they missed an item this delivery and would not help. Called CC direct and they sent their own driver to replace - great food and great service :)

Popped in here on Tuesday for some lunch food, piri piri chicken superb as always and nice generous portion of fries, so convenient.

Me and my sister ordered food from chicken cottage through JustEat, when the food arrived, we discovered we were missing the two large fries that come with the boneless delight. when I tried to ring them up they didn't answer so we spoke to the justeat help line, where the restaurant offered us a £2 refund In return for the lack of fries, the whole point of me ordering the takeout was for the fries and in the end the manager turned the phone off and wasn't answering even the justeat help line. had to order my chips from a different place in the end. safe to say the food we did receive wasn't worth the ordeal we went through.

Absolutely disgusting Food was greasy, the floor was dirty, tables by the doors full of newspapers and empty food cartons. As for social distance they don't bother!!! Seriously would not recommend.

Food is always piping hot and top quality. Order from here regularly and the delivery guys are great

Do not order from here unless u expect your burgers to have no burger jokers when I asked for refund was told this is the way it is avoid this place at all cost

This was the second meal that I have purchased from this restaurant, it was absolutely delicious!! Grilled half chicken with an amazing lemon and herb marinade, juicy and cooked to perfection a delicious side of rice which was also very flavourful, potatoes which were well cooked and tasty and a lovely little side salad. Staff were friendly and efficient. If you are looking for fast food with flavour I would recommend.

First time I've ever visited, the staff member was preaching about the chicken all being fresh and not frozen etc I paid £12.73 for 6 small boneless fillets and chips I was horrified at this price, I should have walked out when he said the price I got home and granted the food was hot but the chicken had no seasoning and was very chewy and stringy. Not very tasty considering how much I had paid. Never again! I'd sooner go KFC.

Have Cottage chicken ever week end , always happy. Delivery good, lovely and hot, moist and fresh.and the seasoning is tastier than KFC. Would recommend any day, helpful staff in a clean shop.

Nice clean place for a quick bite to eat. Ordered a cottage wrap meal and peri wings. Wrap was good, wings VERY good. Served in a tray with sauces, tissues and a hand wipe for afters. Not as good as a KFC but definitely a worthy option.

We had Piri Piri chicken and an ear of corn each for lunch today, and it was absolutely superb,every time we have food from here it is great,and the owners are very nice people to deal with, Why pay Nandos silly prices for their chicken offerings? when you can have this locally and in my view far superior to Nandos, lovely chicken at a reasonable price.

As our preferred restaurant was fully booked, we reluctantly decided to try Chicken Cottage for a takeaway instead. It was awful beyond words. Never again.

My wife and i like this place, the food is always spot on and we have always been happy with whatever we have ordered, today i had the spicey chicken wigs x 10 with a couple of hot and spicy dips, and my wife had the chicken strips with a couple of coleslaw sides and a portion of onion rings, everything cooked as it should be,piping hot, nice crispy and crunchy coating on the chicken, and the same with the onion rings.Why anyone wants to pay lots of silly money at Nandos for an inferior product is totally beyond me? this is a far better place.

Samosas were smashed on one side and had been cooked that way. Fries were barely warm. Driver didn't give correct change. But the chicken was lovely like normal.

After ordering the food for 5:30 I didn't expect it to arrive at 4:45 when no-one was around to eat it. Also it probably would have been better fresh when it did arrive later.

They did not supply part of the order. When we called, they answered the phone but did not provide any information on how they would resolve this but kept us on hold and then we tried rigning for over an hour and their phone was constantly engaged/on hold.

Food was okay, delivery was good, the delivery guy was polite and respectful. The onion rings were really soggy and tasteless. The chicken was very greasy. The burger was pretty good. I think you could to improve on food quality. It was hot and edible but the food needs less grease and more seasoning. My honest review.

Everytime i back here, I get reminded of why I havnt been lately. Other than the chaotic looking staff behind the counter, the food here is fine. Albeit, the consistency of a franchise establishment just isn't there as I have found the fried chicken to far from succulent on a few occasions. Quite chewy in fact.

Fumin with the service, they gave me chicken on the bone when I ordered boneless chicken fillets, forgot my dips, I tipped them as well!!! And the food was cold by the time I started eating it! Ruined my meal.

Wasn't happy as the beans were freezing cold and chips had been cooked for to long and the chicken batter was too soggy other than that was happy with the restaurant getting my order right and delivery was quick

Chicken Cottage didn't get the order from Just Eat. Just Eat failed to fulfill our order and we were extremely unimpressed to the point where we now call Chicken Cottage directly if we want to order from them.

Food was 30 mins late and was only told it would be 20. Beans were cold and chips were cold and anemic. Chicken was very hot, nice and tender but coating on chicken was mostly soggy.

Don't get me wrong the food is nice always is however the past few times I've ordered a chicken burger plain for my little sister because she doesn't like what goes on it and every time it hasn't been plain.

Meal was ok... no need to bleed you for every penny though! Crazy they charge to pay on credit card then 50p per sauce, they should try 2p per salt sprinkle too!

Meal was lovely. Arrived before the estimated delivery time. Just thought I would say with the kids meal, do you have juice options? As my daughter isn't allowed fizzy pop. I didn't notice any.

Shocking service food took nearly two hours for food to arrive, I wouldn't mind but it was basically chicken nuggets and chips a basic meal, chips were cold and I ordered jalepeno cheese bites but instead received cheese sticks when I rang and complained they said they'd replaced the jalepeno bites with cheese sticks but hadn't changed the menu yet in that case I should have been made aware and given the choice of what I wanted to replace the snack! I will never use chicken cottage again!!

Hadn't been here for a few weeks, but today we visited and my wife had a gourmet burger and a corn on the cob,and i had half a piri piri chicken also with a corn on the cob, everything was piping hot and really nice and tasty, thoroughly enjoyable and very reasonably priced.

.99 for a can of pop. Delivered 30 minutes later than original delivery time. Food, edible...

My boys love the chicken/food here even they are regular visitors to many other popular places. Excellent family friendly environment. The owner is fab with fantastic interpersonal skills. We will always visit whenever we want to have a chicken eat-out afternoon/night.

Cold beans, very greasy chicken and coleslaw put in the same bag as bottle of pop which caused it to split open so a complete waste of money not like the usual standards Samosas where beautiful and will order them again but the rest of the meal was not nice at all

We didn't two of the sauces (chilli and lemon ones) but the rest was superb!
