Very good for those who love pepper 🌶️, the prices are very affordable, they are open until 4 am or later, the service is excellent!!! They are very helpful and try to understand the customer, I recommend eating on site or to go.

I had an incredibly disappointing and upsetting experience at Chicken Cottage. During my visit, I encountered blatant homophobic behavior from the staff, which left me feeling shocked and deeply uncomfortable. When I placed my order, the cashier made a derogatory comment about my appearance and my partner. Instead of treating us with the same respect given to other customers, they openly mocked us, using slurs and offensive language. It was appalling and completely unacceptable. I tried to address the issue with the staff member, but they laughed it off and continued to make derogatory remarks. This behavior was not only unprofessional but also hurtful and discriminatory. It's 2024—no one should have to endure this kind of treatment, especially in a public place. I will never return to this location again and will be informing others about this disgraceful experience. Chicken Cottage seriously needs to reevaluate their staff training and policies regarding discrimination. No one should have to face such hateful behavior, and it’s clear this establishment needs to take accountability for their actions.

I was being sick all day and it may look clean, but i was so disgusted , and the women was lying in my face and said it’s rice when ir clearly shows you, their was mouse dropping on my burger bun and dropped . It’s disgusting I do not recommend.

Game me an extra spicy wing with the meal and also followed my request on the order notes, so thank you, I appreciate it. The only thing missing which would be good is a few napkins and a salt sachet for the fries, but apart from that the order was very good. Thanks

I was there for 2 minutes, rushing to catch a bus but starving. I was served and got my bus, the food was excellent, the place was very clean. The staff are lovely

Gravy was cold and was a big congealed lump inside the pot, pretty unpleasant. Everything else about the delivery - Strip burger, strips, fries and fried chicken was very good. Fried chicken was still warm and tasted good.

Had very late night craving for some chicken burger and was surprised place was open and full of people, and it was 3 AM. Service was quick, food was just all right, didn't expect much anyway, it's your usual chicken shop. I feel for people working there, tons of drunk customers, order after order and seem they manage to deliver so cudos for that.

The telephone customer service needs Improvement, I called because there's an incorrect deal on just eat and the staff were rude, don't put half a chicken plus 3 side meal if that's not what the offer is, have manners when talking to people!!! KMT

I was on a hurry to take my bus and I believe the cashier knew it. It cost me £4.79 for two pieces and chips, when finally when I looked at their outside menu, it should have been £3.49. I didn’t have the time to go back in and ask why I did it pay the same price as outside but to me they just set the price they want to who they want to. Giving here a 2 stars for that, else service was fast but a Hello and a thank you in the end is welcomed.

I've felt less pain and cried fewer tears watching relatives passing away than I did eating these unspeakably fiery wings. Highly recommended if you're someone who struggles to get in touch with your emotions and require external stimuli. Sadly 16 of the 20 wings I ordered are now in my food bin, with the fire brigade on standby in case it bursts into flames.

The chicken was too salty and not well cooked. I liked the fries.

Most of the order was fine, except the half pounder burger which was drenched in burger sauce. When I say drenched, I mean it looked as if the cap fell off when the sauce was being applied. My friends and I were genuinely surprised that this was allowed to leave the door and honestly, all 8 of us will never order from this branch again.

The food was not fresh, despite requesting for fresh food. The fries were hard and stale. Its really disappointing to see my favourite chicken shop drop their standards.

Food came cold even though it didn't take long to arrive so I suspect it was reheated especially with the chips tasting stale. They also charged me for the 4 wings that I ordered but only delivered 2.

Go somewhere els! Of course, I get this is a no thrills chicken shop. But boy, is it ever awful. The food is like tasteless mush, costs way over what you would expect and pay for this sort of product in the surrounding area and somehow they managed to take the fast out of fast food with a 10 minute wait for a burger. To be honest, they took the food out of fast food too, because what I ate was the ultimate in frozen bland slime. But. The people are nice, so that's something.

They gave me the complete wrong food I ordered for 3 people and it costed £33.78 and instead they gave something for 2 people which was only £20 I want the rest of my money back.

We called to enquire about specific items and were not very helpful. Restaurant didn’t have rice (we ordered 2 portions) so put a note in the bag and sent loads of chips that went to waste. Don’t think il be ordering from them again.

Second time I have ordered from here recently and they have not correctly delivered my order. When I pay extra for additional items I expect this delivered! No help from restaurant at correcting mistake.

Both chicken orders were missing and the attitude from Mohammed in the shop when I rang to query the missing items left a lot to be desired. No offer was made to bring the items, my friend had to walk to Norbury to pick them up.
