This chicken is absolutely exquisite, miles better than KFC

Had a delivery this evening the food was cooked to perfection thankyou charlie

Ordered a delivery, I had a meal for two and my partner, whom is currently feeling sick had a meal deal for one, food was cold, burger was without sauce or salad and bun was soggy, chicken tenders were small and coating was slimy, also cold, my partners burger was also appalling, she had the classic, which was also cold and also lacking any flavour or mayo or pickles, chips allegedly cajun seasoned, without any flavouring and surprise surprise also cold, the onion rings although hot, were dripping in grease, as was most of the meal. AVOID AT ALL COST.. FOOD IS APPALLING.

I went for the hot wings as it’s my go to after a few drinks. The chicken was tasty, even if it was cold, but at no point was there any spice to it. If they were hot and had a kick then they would have been really nice. Hopefully next time they will be better.

I recently had a very disappointing experience at Chick O Land on New Canal Road in Salisbury. I purchased two chicken burgers—one for myself and one for a friend. While my friend was eating his burger, he found a hair inside. This was incredibly off-putting and raised serious concerns about the hygiene standards at this takeaway. When we returned to the shop to address the issue, the man working there (who appeared to be Turkish) refunded our money but shockingly told us never to come back. This level of unprofessionalism was both surprising and unacceptable, especially given the seriousness of the situation. My friend had already eaten part of the burger before finding the hair and has since been experiencing discomfort in his throat. I’m extremely concerned about the potential health risks from this incident and would strongly advise others to think twice before visiting this establishment. Hygiene and customer service should be top priorities for any food business, and sadly, Chick O Land fell short on both counts.

Chick o Land serves some of the best fried chicken in town. The chicken is crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. Friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere make it a great spot for a tasty meal. Highly recommended!

OK if you are desperate but avoid if you want value for money. Chicken is quite dry and the ‘hot wings’ aren’t even remotely spicy. Chips are a little soggy and taste reheated. Not exactly cheap for what you get. I guess if you’re sh-faced you wouldn’t care.

Old chicken, dry chicken sandwich, soggy, unflavoured potatoes. Would've left a photo on here but it was that disgusting I just wanted it out of my sight and into the bin where it belongs. Better off paying extra for a decent takeaway like charcoal grill. Not sure how the management of chick o land and serve food like this.

Unfortunately, my experience with the burger was quite disappointing. tasteless , The bun was stale and didn't hold up well, falling apart as I tried to take a bite. Overall, it was a lackluster burger that failed to meet my expectations. 0 star

Food was absolutely disgusting. Chicken was hard and inedible. Chips were over cooked and inedible. Onion rings had a very strange cardboard flavour! Will never order from here again and would never recommend no one else does too

Used to like chick_o_land but the food has gone down hill... chips were hard, the coating on the chicken was so salty you couldn't eat it. The spicy potatoes weren't spicy just very salty.

Will try and change extra if think u are drunk or leave out extras they have changed u for. Good place when sober but will take advantage if they think you are drunk go mannys or charcoal grill if u can. See picture ment to be chicken burger with all salad and cheese. Cost more then £6 just for that.

I wish I could leave zero stars but I understand the food is ok. I placed an order and then because I was talking to my friend I was charged for an order four times the value of what I wanted. As the food is pre-pared I asked for a simple correction. The server continued to point at the cctv and said that I ordered something I hadn’t. I asked for a refund or my correct order and the server asked me leave. My first and definitely last visit.

I came here for my 18th birthday meal with a couple of my work colleagues and as soon as I walked through the door I knew I made a great choice to get food from for many reasons. 1) the food was absolutely amazing. 2) the staff were absolutely lovely and very friendly they even took my photos for me I am so grateful. 3) not only were the staff lovely and friendly their customer service was absolutely on point not a single complaint from me. And finally the entire atmosphere of the entire shop from the moment I walked in to the moment I left was brilliant they made me laugh wished me a happy birthday and were just absolutly brilliant much appreciated to all the staff working as you made me feel so welcome in to your shop will definitely be back again soon and for all the people who haven't been to Chick-O-Land I would 1000% recommend you go as you won't regret it

Potatoes from here are the best the food in general is pretty good been getting food here for years and never had any issues only thing I will say is the items listed as spicy could actually be spicy other than that it's good 👍

I regret letting drunk me make choices sometimes and this is the outcome of one such time. One bite was enough.

4 bouncers including guys with ‘bullet proof’ plate carriers, magazine pouches and handcuffs (in a chicken takeaway). In addition, the order was wrong and the chicken was dry. Poor quality food, great staff behind the counter, poor quality security.

Perhaps the smallest wings I've ever seen, the only thing that would save it was if their hot wings where actually spicy, unfortunately I've had glasses of milk that were spicier. Didn't really taste of much tbh. Really disapointing, it's hardly cheap either considering what you get. If your steaming drunk stumbling out of Chapel and nothing else is open then you might come here but I don't even think drunk me would want to wolf it down. Very rarely do I review so low but what can you say to that? Quality poor and prices suggesting they're something they really aren't.

Decent fried chicken, reasonable prices.

Rather disappointing. I ordered delivery. I expected KFC quality. The reviews were quite good, so I expected more. The chicken are not so crispy, the french fries are ok, the gravy is bland and thick and the corn was bit burnt. It is a perfect meal after being drunk and drinking. Three stars because it‘s good enough for the cheap price, but wouldn‘t order again.

Tastiest fried chicken in town! Let alone you can do combo meals to get more for better value, generally do go for delivery from here and is always before the end bracket of estimated time and always hot. And when I have collected in the past, happy staff, quick service and a really clean establishment

Had a few troubles with payment but they were very quick to sort things out, chicken and the batter was perfect, huge improvement from a couple months ago. Whoever made the wings deserves a well done. Highly recommend their chicken wings.

Skin not crispy and hanging off. Blood on the bone so not cooked properly and cold chips. Very disappointing. Plus now had a message from the owner just saying thanks. No apologies what's so ever. How professional. Put a complaint in with me and my daughter being sick all day and they wanted me to get all the chicken out the bin. Yeah I want to go in the bin when I have been sick. No refund given. STAY AWAY FROM CHICKOLAND!!!!!!!!!!!

So my experience is of fresh hot food. The chicken burger is simply enormous and twice the size of any competitors. The burgers come with salad and onions and sauce and even red cabbage if you like. Bombay potatoes are plenty and just that little bit spicy. The chicken coating on chicken pieces is very tasty and almost addictive! If it’s food after a night in the pub it’s great but also for online or telephone orders for pick up/delivery. The owner is a long-standing Salisbury resident and is always charming and helpful.

Worst food I've had in years. Over cooked chicken which I'm guessing was frozen. Disgusting. I only managed to eat a third of the chicken burger and that was too much. Don't waste your money.
