Chicanos in Kirklees

Great place to eat. Always come here to Batley. Staff always very pleasant and very helpful. Definitely recommend, 100%.

Order my burger and chips on uber eats it was cold but the taste was good. They need to make sure when they deliver food it's should be warm

love chickanos, its good value for money and super tasty food, however during Ramadam there were no staff, so had to wait half an hour, surely they could get cover for that period. Theyve also gone a little bit pricey which is disappointing

Love it. Best tasting chicken EVER. Salads are a bit on the expensive side, bit are delicious. And the hot wings are to die for

Been a big fan of Chicanos since they opened. The chicken is well prepared and extremely tasty. Best chicken from fast food places. Bit disappointed that portions are getting smaller, prices have gone up (like they all eventually do), most staff are super friendly, occasionally you get a snotty girl who's really rude but I don't think she works there any more. And can we get the peri salt back please, there's never any available and it's part n parcel of Chicanos chicken.

Surprised in this day and age, especially during a pandemic that they still have no card machine and require cash payments. Service was quick and food was hot. The coleslaw and garlic mayo is nice. That was about it, the chicken was overly greasy as were the chips (most hollow with no potato as they were over fried). The chicken also tasted slightly fishy which is likely because it had been over-brined. The hot wings were too spicy to the detriment they lacked flavour. Wouldn't come back here again.

Usual good food and service from Chicano’s unfortunately took a complete 180 turn because of their dire level of ignorance to take accountability for some meals we ordered which were dry, lacking the correct side orders and a pink uncooked chicken breast that my work colleague received sitting inside her peri burger. Condescending customer assistant on the phone who goes by the name Muhammad telling me I have no right to know how the chicken is cooked after I investigated receiving a raw uncooked chicken: one which I was going to ingest and is of paramount importance to my health obviously. To add injury to insult, manager Rehan was hell bent on making sure his baseless claims of “pre cooked pre steamed” chicken over rode my concern of a VISIBLE BLATANT pink chicken which I had sitting right in front of me. No the chicken clearly was NOT “pre cooked” adequately enough because if it was, it wouldn’t be pink in colour. I was left shocked with the way I was treated. Also, no salad on chicken salad but just dry chicken and a few measly chips... Management and organisational skills must be horrendous in that kitchen. Absolutely never going back because I didn’t even in the slightest get any sympathy for the way I was spoken to or minimum an apology, never mind a refund. And as for the poor defence mechanism of “well if the customer is going to be rude to me , I can be rude back to him”, that must be some typical shoddy West Yorkshire mentality. Seems like it’s never customer focus anymore but rather taking in the money. 1/5, worst experience of my life. Wouldn’t return again and neither would any of my 8 work colleagues: 5 of whom received tasteless, dry and unsatisfactory meals and the other 3 said theirs was mediocre.

I phoned up to order and I was repeatedly told to hurry up as he had customers in the shop! I said I'm a customer he said but I've got more in the shop! Customer service non existing! Disgraceful. Would be minus if it let me !

I would like to applaud everyone who works here and anyone which is involved with this place. This place is literally my life, I travel from Derby to here when ever I get the chance. The service is always great and the people working there are really friendly. The food is next to non and never disappoints. I would like to say a very big thank you for everything you have done for me. I love you

Wanted to see what the hype was about&wanted something tasty to eat so my partner suggested Chickanos..We tavelled from Preston&have to say we enjyed our munch esp the mango&lime flavoured chicken .The place looked clean and tidy and was not busy.Food didnt take that long to arrive prob 10/12mins.Shame they didnt accept cards only cash payment.We were disgusted by the state of the loos tho .Would visit again

Been twice now , both visits pleasant , food good , staff attentive restaurant clean over all well worth a visit

Once a week I go to chicanos ( if it is in Leeds or Huddersfield ) but seriously Bradford is outstanding in customer service !!!

Have previously visited other Branches of Chicanos (Bradford, Dewsbury etc.). Must say that this was not a let down. Keeping up the Chicanos name!

i'd taken the brash decision to view the menu online before making my choice of luchtime treat. After precervering i was delighted to see the gourmet burger choice and opted for the memphis burger. However to my dismay as i arrived at the branch i was informed theat they didint have any beef burgers instore and no alternative choice wwas made for me in compensation- gutted

Variety is their USP. I ordered some extra spicy burger and my husband ordered gormet burger. His burger was better then mine. I only had one issue that is spice not that I couldn't handle the heat but there was no taste in it then red chilli powder. But it was cooked well so we managed to finish it with chilled coke. I am tempted to taste other flavours too but it's only available in yorkshire and I'm in midlands 😒

Great chicken and very good portions too. The chicken is succulent and the coating is very flavoursome aswell. Good atmosphere and ample parking outside. It is only cash no card payments accepted which was strange. I can see someone before has said the staff where not very nice or helpful but they may have changed staff or taken this feedback on board because they came across to me as being helpful and where polite aswell. Thanx I will be back for food again in the future.

Went here on Sunday and the food was horrible let's put it like this my mate went to a&e with food poisoning When they first opened the food was good but not anymore

Chicken wraps without fat, the food is cooked properly, the seating area is spotless, the staff really know their menu, for the best options. Off road parking and close to Town, it's in the best position for all sorts of destinations. All in all, its brilliant food and effortless parking. Not expensive either

wanted something tasty to eat so my partner suggested Chickanos he has had delivered food previously and said it was good .we were out and about so called in .the place looked clean and tidy and was not busy so we expected to be in and out quickly ,sadly this was not the case .There was a lot of staff working but the order took 45mins to be put together (only 2 wrap meals ) so not a big order,whilst waiting my partner visited to loo and was disgusted by the state of them ,I we hadn't already ordered and paid we would have left and gone elsewhere .give it a miss we wont be going again or ordering delivered food again

I went to Chicano today 10/08/16, and i ordered 4 meals. Firstly, a man served me, but when i got the reciept I was served by a Shannon, a 21 year old asian male with a beard, is definitely not Shannon. I was told it would be 10 mins. i waited the best part of half an hour. When i got the food i told 'Shannon' that i was very dissapointed with the service. Instead of an apology, i got a 'why'. I told him about how the delay was unnacceptable, he had nothing to say... still no apology. I brought the food back home (6 minute drive) and all the food was cold. I am disgusted with the service, I will not be going back. Overpriced, delayed food!

I used to visit Huddersfeild Chikanos weekly with Friends and family however, over the past couple of weeks the standards of their food and cutsomer service have reduced immensely. The staff at the tills were extremely rude and their customer service was poor. Abusive language could be heard from the staff at the back which was very unpleasant. After recieving poor customer service the chairs, table and floor were very dirty. The food took a very long time to come even though there were no other customers in store at the time. The food was cold and hard and the chicken was overcooked and chewy. The staffs behaviour was very inappropriate and the atmosphere was awful. Being a young women i would advise all ladies to keep away from the huddersfeild chikanos as the service is rubbish alongside their staffs unacceptable behaviour towards young girls.

The food was mediocre.Sloppy burgers put together no finesse, the burgers were falling all over the place as it was not put together with any thought. The chicken was very thinly sliced and over cooked.The salad was a bland boring side salad with a measly amount of chicken thrown on. The food was overpriced. The website does not have any prices on for any item, this is a big no no.People need to know how much something costs to make a informed choice.

I remembred wen it opened in btly.talk of the town.so i went to eat.i admit it was yummy n amazing.i was hooked on mexicano meal.this was wen it opened.fast frward to 2015.its a scam.i hv boycoted chicanos due to the lack of chicken in the burger.thin slices of chicken tht only covers half of the burger bun.evn tho wen i specificaly ask to put in a thicker fillet.nw its not evn filling n it cost 4£.like i said bf it was amazing n were gvn a good portion.once its become famous.thy hv startd making the portions smaller.paying 4£ for a meal.it needs to b atleast decent..First timers try it.But fr regulars like me.i hv boycotted chicanos.

It was beautiful, for just a small take away, it was yummy! £4 for a meal which I didn't finish as it was big to I'll me up! The chips, the chicken fillet and the chicken I recommend!! And they had the best garlic mayo I've ever tasted!!

Great food, had the Gourmet burger meal and Buffalo Ranch burger meal and wings.Wings are the best I've had (and I'm a long time Salah's fan).However, service is letting this place down. Staff member was busy talking even though he can see me waiting, probably not knowing my food has been bagged and just needs to be handed to me. I had to interrupt else who knows how long I'd have been there.

Chicken was hard as nails and have heard from a inside source it's not halal as it states. Which is not acceptable in my opinian as it is false advertising. I won't be visiting any chicanos again as I woke up at 4am with the most gruesome belly ache :(

Waited 35 minutes for a beef burger and chips, burger was over cooked, dry, hard, and inedible, didn't find out till I got home as it was a take out, never agin in my life will I eat here, also amazed by the number of flies flying around inside , so put that in your burger bun.

My first visit at chicanos huddersfield! Walked in and was greeted by friendly well mannered staff. Looked around and it was immaculately clean. My order did not take long to make and was freshly prepared. The two staff taking orders were very friendly and asked if everything was okay with our food. They were very professional other chains should take lessons. I was so impressed by the food, staff and cleanliness, I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

food is fabulous and really quick service, best chips in town!!price is okay, could be cheaper, however the food and service out way this.
