Ordered on Ubereats. Delivery took ages (fault of the restaurant, the driver was waiting ages) and half the order completely wrong. Food was stone cold and inedible and went straight in the bin. Avoic

The Chi Ni restaurant is also Dosa Bhavan. Two resturant in one. Food is good. Will add more Dosa variation. More kerala based food. Chilli gobi was good. Mysore Dosa was good. Schezuan noodles was not great. Service was good. overall food is good. Will go back again.

Visited this restaurant around 17:30 so it was quite time. Only our table in the restaurant. Now where do I Start??? Let's start with good bits....Food tastes great. That's it. Good bits end here. They served our son a chicken dish instead of Paneer that we had ordered. We noticed and sent it back. We were conveyed apologies from kitchen staff stating they got confused. How? We were the only table occupied in the restaurant and a couple of takeaway orders. My wife found a piece of small metal in her food. Contaminant in food doesn't give me any confidence in their ability and quality control.

Quality of food is good, very less wait time. Fabulous hospitality.

We recently visited Chi Ni Restaurant Sutton as a family of six and had an amazing experience! The owner, Sajid, was incredibly friendly and attentive, which made us feel very welcome. The food was authentic and delicious, and the ambience was great. I highly recommend this restaurant to both families and individuals.

They have opened not even a year ago but it's already a failure unfortunately. There's no atmosphere, it feels like more of delivery kitchen than a resturant. The menu is huge and I'm pretty sure the cooks in the kitchen have no idea which dish is which. I've had high hopes as it's a new place, but it seems like one that should be avoided, at least for eating in as the only sound you can hear is the deliveroo and just eat tablets going on forever. No music, no waiters, just a guy in a cap, who seemed like he had no idea what is going around or what he should be providing. Such a shame..

Pathetic delivery service and incorrect packing. Totally ruined my experience, I ordered an Uber eats delivery and 2 items were missing. Had to drive down to the restaurant to pick my own order which was supposed to come via ubereats. This is unprofessional and extremely poor customer experience. I will THINK TWICE IN FUTURE before ordering anything from this restaurant

I went here one Saturday eve for dinner with a friend...we were planning on going to our usual Asian restaurant, but it was busy so we decided to go to Chi Ni for the first time and give it a go. Anyway, my overall experience was that it was okay. The food was fine, not out of this world, but not rubbish either. For a starter I had the Malysian Laksa chicken and prawn soup. It had some coconut in there, and there were plenty of prawns and pieces of chicken but it was too salty for my liking, too fishy or too much fish sauce possibly. I was rather thirsty afterwards. As for my main I went for the Mee Goreng which is a noodle based dish again with prawns and chicken. It was nice enough with plenty of prawns and chicken, but too small a dish to be a main course. For me a noodle dish as a main has to have a bit more to fill you up. Also, considering I chose two Malaysian styled dishes they didn't feel that Malaysian at all, so I was a bit disappointed as I know decent Malaysian food when I see it. Finally, the menú is way too big and there are too many styles of cuisine on it, in my opinion they're trying to do too much to appeal to a wider audience. So, it's worth a visit if you're stuck for where to go, and it's not too bad price wise either. But I wouldn't necessarily go there again as there are better asian places in the area.

Starters were good, especially the mixed platter. Rest of the dishes were average.

Nice Indo-Chinese restaurant in Sutton with lots of vegetarian options. Honey chilli potato and Veg manchurian is a must try.

Good quality, halal, Chinese food. Will accommodate any dietary needs. They do use MSG but will try to accommodate, where they can, if you ask for changes before ordering. Small and cramped venue when busy but friendly.

The plates and cutlery were dirty with stains. The food was okay, however the atmosphere was uncomfortable. The owner's priorities were pushing out takeaways, and was not interested in the service of customers in the restaurant. As we walked out he was too busy on the phone speaking to his friend. I will not go back which is a shame because I wanted to support a new local business.

Placed a £100+ order, it’s been 2 and a half hours still nothings been delivered. I’ve had to call the restaurant myself 6 times to get updates. Apparently they got the order late due to issues with online system that’s been down for a week already. On 3 different calls I was told the driver has just left. Now they just don’t answer my calls and when I do get through and try to get the order cancelled and a refund staff don’t have the decency to say sorry instead they hang up the phone. Absolute joke! Never order from here Unfortunately I have to give at least 1 star but it’s not worth that even

Overall the food was tasty and brilliant But it would've been a 5* if we got our delivery at the time we asked for it to arrive We asked for 8:00 but it came at 8:50. That made the food kinda cold.

I don't know how review get 4.6 star overall. Indo-chinese, the dishes are all mixed up. Most disgusting Pad Thai I ever had, basically is ketchup fried noodles. Cold and disgusting food, even the India briyani is meant to be the restaurant own crusine but was cold and had no taste. Be aware! Overpriced! Those 5 stars reviews spend £10 for all dishes!? No way!

This is the place I would recommend to all those who love indo chinese cuisine. The owner of the place is very welcoming and always ready to make changes and update their menus as per customers request. My personal favourites are Chicken Manchow soup Triple schezwan fried rice enough for 2 people Hakka noodles Chicken chilly Chicken manchurian Delicious food.

I ordered a Mee Goreng with a mango lassi and a sizzling brownie with ice cream. The waitress was very kind and helpful and the food was served quickly after I ordered it. The Mee Goreng was largely portioned, and the chicken tasted delicious! I was given a few sauces to add to the meal which I quickly emptied into my bowl! The lassi tasted rich and sweet and the meal was very nice. The brownie was the best I had ever eaten; one of the staff mentioned that the sauce was made in the restaurant. They also mentioned that the chefs took great care in making food ha is health and well rounded, from picking grains of rice that aren't too filling o providing customers with water low in sodium. I was also offered a fresh passion fruit juice which was so much nicer than he pical Rubicon drink. Overall, I loved the food and the service and the resaurant looked great from the wall fittings to the lightings to the plates; the prices were very reasonable! Would definitely recommend giving them a try.

Ordered food from Chini. No offense I was good but the Vegatables in bean sauce was a supset. Hope they sort out for vegetarian.

Depends what you order I suppose. Tried the black bean sauce and Kung pao chicken. Bitterly disappointed and probably the worst ever. Very runny and should have a bit of heat. Dry chilli chicken was nice.

Ate for lunch. Dead quiet, no atmosphere and awkward Pushy to order more than you've asked for. Bottles of warm water on the tables filled with condensation so clearly old... Our cokes came in a can, wasn't offered ice made us feel like they're prioritising take out orders Ordered pad Tha, was OK but all the same colour and reminded me more of a pasta dish than pad Thai. Waited a while for friends food because they brought my dish out first. I told the waitress it would've been nice to be told that the meals come out separately... she didn't really seem to understand that we was dissatisfied. Kept asking if we wanted more food Very uncomfortable vibe and we won't go back which is a shame because we wanted to support a new local business...

Was so excited to finally have more halal Chinese options in the area! Chi Ni didn’t disappoint in the slightest, my favourite dish so far has been the dry chilli chicken.

First and last experience last night. Firstly, our bottle of water was warm and when I later pointed this out I was told I should have asked for ice. We ordered 3 dishes; tofu, broccoli and Singapore noodles. Unfortunately, the last two came out and over fifteen minutes later we were still waiting for the tofu. When asked where this was we were informed it was made fresh. We'd had enough and said we would finish what we had before it went cold. Throughout the experience we had five different waiters asking us either if we'd ordered or wanted a drink despite seeing we already had one. The staff were clearly inexperienced and inefficient. The food was very overpriced. Disappointed

The food here is truly 5 star, it was actually so tasty. This is Sutton’s hidden secret, they need to advertise because more people need to hear about this place. Heavily under rated and so flavourful. I am gonna make a return as much as I can. Amazing flavour. Amazing texture. Good that’s good for the soul.

After eagerly waiting for weeks, we turned up at ChiNi on 17th June to get a real IndoChinese to celebrate hubby's b'day. Turns out opening was the next day, and a family dinner was going on. They graciously let us do a takeaway and so, we are ChiNi Sutton's first ever customers!! So proud! Every item was delicious! As was the meal we got today. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!

After quite long had an amazing indo-chinese food so close to Indian taste. For appetizers, we ordered chicken manchow and hot and sour soup both were hot and delicious. For starters, we had chicken lollipop with schewan sauce and chili chicken. For main course, we ordered chopper rice, it was fulfilling. The quantity was good. The staff was friendly. The food was worth the price. I will recommend their chili chicken, manchow soup and chopper rice. They also serve Mughlai and Thai cuisines. We are looking forward to try owner recommended dum briyani on our next visit. Would recommend all to try!

Visited this place last week with a couple of friend and its a truly all round fantastic place. Some of the dishes we really loved and would recommend are: Chilli garlic fish Indian style crispy beef - this is a style I have never tried so far and was truly mind blowingly amazing! Garlic chilli beef Prawns I would therefore highly recommend this place and do book in advance as its very busy and the staff were having to turn pepper away who hadn't booked. Oh and everything is freshly cooked so be prepared to wait a little unless you pre-prder. We waited but it was well worth the wait.

As soon as we found out that Chi Ni is opening second branch in Sutton, we decided to give it a try. After all, Indo-Chinese dishes are mine personal favourite. The place is slightly smaller than Tooting branch, it's better to book a table. The menu is slightly different. We ordered okra and volcano chicken with egg fried rice. Excellent taste. Their cheff knows what he is doing. Definitely will return for more.

Excellent service, food and experience. Was there with a group of friends. Combined we probably ordered over 10 different dishes and literally everything was so tasty and freshly prepared. Keep in mind you may have to wait a little before you get your food, but that's only because they prepare it fresh upon order. Otherwise friendly staff and extremely clean place. Was quite packed when I went and they were having to turn people away simply because how busy it was, but that tells you all about the popularity of the place even though they've just opened up. Would defo go back.

On my Birthday 17th June, My wife knew I like Indo-Chinese recipe and food. She saw the board of CHI NI Indo chinese & malaysian restaurant in Sutton It was open and there were people already in the restaurant. My wife went in with my daughter and said she wants to order takeaway, she was told the restaurant is opeing tomorrow 18th, today is just a family invitation. But the owner came in and very kindly said no problem we can do takeaway for you as you have come in and you are the first customer. It was a very kind gesture My wife ordered Chicken lollypop, chicken schezwan rice, sweet corn soup, american chopsuey, veg manchurian. This was a surprise birthday dinner for me. The food was yummy. I would like to compliment the Chef all the dishes were superly delicious. I could get the taste of Indian style chinese the same way I taste in India. The soup wow and the lollpop superb. I would recommend this restaurant it has eat in and takeaway. Try it guys you will not regret.

The staff were so kind and so nice to us. They would always ask whether we need more food or not. The starters are a MUST they taste sooo good. Main courses were soo nice aswell. I would highly recommend because the money is worth it!

I have tried this restaurant its a big rip off. Everything too expensive even after %25 off. The portion size is so small . They actually use ready made frozen chicken and add some sauce on top to make a dish which they charge huge amout. Staff was asking to buy expensive juice which was £3.50 we told him we dont want but he was keep insisting to try it. They brought bottle water without asking not 1 not 2 infact 3 bottles which they cahre more then £2 each. Food was test less. Dont ever go there.

Great halal Chinese, staff are friendly and helpful, they have amazing quality food and I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for some good quality halal food. 10/10 experience will definitely be returning for more delicious food !
