Food was good - staff were very pleasant and friendly - would have given 4 or 5 stars but find the attempts to add on charges to the meal without giving proper notice or offering a choice to the customer spoiled the experience making you feel exploited - when I questioned this the waiter told me that the manager tells them to do it. They offer prawn crackers the minute you sit down, which you then naturally assume are complementary (after all they are in most Chinese places, and are very cheap basic items) ; but turns out they charge for them without telling you, then after the meal they add a 12.5% ‘service charge’ - ( I was happy to leave a tip and intended doing so )- but they add it on to the bill without asking if you want to pay it! - there is no warning or notice of these charges and these tactics are unacceptable and a real shame - if they need the extra 12.5% then just add it to the meal price so you know what you are paying! I always tip unless I have good reason not to!

I loved coming to this place for lunch and dinner it’s one of my favourite places to eat! I wanted to come for my birthday in April last month but it seemed to be closed. I was so disappointed because I really love the sea bass and the koreon steak! Please get back to me because I really want to eat here again!

Se acercó un pequeño restaurante asiático moderno en la parte trasera de la tienda Debenhams en Oxford Street a través de la tienda o desde una entrada independiente en Henrietta Place. Ha estado allí durante algunos años, aunque no lo he estado durante al menos un par de años. El servicio es atento y una buena variedad de opciones de comida asiática.

I was staying across the road at the Radisson Blu so Chi Kitchen was handy. I loved the Dim Sum selection more than the Malaysian Nyonya curry which I found strangely stodgy. Service was great. Mojito was ace! Overall it was good to very good

After a good walk in the cold London, we had our lunch in this Chi Kitchen which is conveniently located inside the Debenhams Shopping Mall. The dishes were well prepared and decorated which were really delicious for our Asian ‘tastes’. The place is also nicely and comfortable for us of 4 persons! The price is also relatively moderate &! affordable. A good place for lunch & dinner.

I popped in because I wanted something pan Asian. It’s a good choice if you want a combination of a great selection, good food, very convenient location, and of course a service, I must say it is better here than at any similar range places. Smiley and attentive staff. Well done guys!

We enjoyed majority of the items that we ordered. We preferred the starters over the mains. We enjoyed the sushi very much but we were under the impression that it gets served to you with dry ice, however they don’t do it on a Sunday which was disappointing. We had visited for that reason and we didn’t get to see it.

I have been here a few times . I work around the corner. I would say I would usually give it 4 stars and I have been 6 times. However the last couple of times it has been so disappointing that I would like to write about. I order an matcha latte. It was half filled and the worse thing I've tasted. I threw it in the bin after taking a sip!!! I ordered the prawn wasabi! I never remember the pieces being so small. It seek like someone cut them up in little pieces. Usually it a whole prawn. Now i have more batter and sauce than prawns. It is really bad. I order the chi sushi which I order all the time. I know the dish well!! . Again this isn't fresh as I seat here I feel like I am getting a stomach ache . I just stopped eating thing. The rice feels old and the rest not fresh and even the vegs inside seem not fresh. I usually finish my plate but I cant I need to stop. Getting cramp!!!

Ordered the Kung Po chicken. Small portion, came cold. Very obvious it wasn’t fresh. Queried it with the waiter - looked at me with a puzzled expression, rather than try to address it. Had to ask him a couple of times. Second plate came, definitely hotter but the coating on the chicken wasn’t as crispy not where the wonton noodles. It was very obvious it was stuck in a microwave as it came way too quickly. The restaurant needs to be 15% cheaper or give 15% more on its portions. The service and ambiance are poor.

If this isn’t a chain, it should be. It has that sense of deliberateness. “Cosy” is not the word I would use, though one reviewer did. BUT THE FOOD WAS TASTY, if not exactly authentic... I had Kung Pao Chicken. It’s a dish made with fried peanuts. This was made with roast cashews. Not the end of the world. The service was ok: the same Multikulti youths one finds everywhere in London.
