Food is excellent service as great and always treated with respect

Never been disappointed, been ordering for a year or so.

This is the best kebab I have ever tasted. I rarely write reviews, but this place truly stands out. Everything is outstanding and delicious. Most importantly, all the food is Halal and prepared with love and care. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning. Keep it up

Fancied fish n chips so looked for a local chippy this place came up so thought we'd give it a try. I have to say it's the first time I've not been able to finish my meal. The portions were large the fish was perfectly cooked very thick clean white meat absolutely perfect 👌 chips are proper chips and they use decent vinegar. The Inside is clean and staff are warm and friendly. They also do burgers, kebabs pizzas so after eating the fish and chips we will definitely be trying the others. Thanks*****

Ordered herenfor the first time nice fish curry sauce very tasty will have the hit one next loads of food. I called after i ordered to see of they would add the sauce on the side rather then over the food and this did this with no issue so polite of the phone. Thank you again will deffo order again

I have ordered fish and chips several times now to be delivered to my home. The food is consistently beautiful and well-cooked. The cod is thick, there are more than enough chips and everything is so fresh and not greasy until other fish and chips shops. The delivery is always perfect - friendly, kind and professional and always within time. Hygiene rating of 5 and a fair price for the quality of food. Now my go-to for takeaway food. I have no reservations in recommending.

We ordered fish and chips last night for delivery, expecting to wait half an hour, the food was here within 15 minutes, piping hot, freshly cooked. I've never seen such a big fish! The chips were fresh and homemade, peas were lovely too. We had a large battered sausage too which was lovely! Definitely using Cheshire fish bar again and highly recommended 👌 👍🏻!!

No longer live in Winsford but I picked up Large Chips, 2 Large Sausage, Large Peas and Large Gravy... Cost £13... Without doubt the worst takeaway I've had for a while. Chips 5/10, Sausage one mouthful and straight in the bin, overcooked and tasted like it had been in the warmer all day. The peas were very good and the Gravy was OK. Last time I purchased was about 5 years ago and was disappointed then, only tried today on a recommendation from family. WILL NOT BE BACK

Always consistent and great quality. Lots of choice which is great too! They are a friendly bunch and happy to look after any requests. Prices are good, considering the current climate. I have had several great experiences with them, so happy to recommend. P.S the fish is consistently fresh 😊❤️👍

Has changed since my last review 3 years ago. It's really nice now! The chippy boxes are our favourites. Everything is cooked perfectly and piping hot on delivery. Friendly staff too!

Soggy chips, average sausages. Just had a reply under new management, which is encouraging taking care of their Google reviews is a very good sign. !.. I'm from Glasgow, but I promise to give you another chance next time Im at Cadwell for the bike racing 🏍...Cheers Stu

Thought I'd order again after 10 months, bad meal last time, the donner kebab meat was hard and crispy and dried out which they mixed with a few cuts of freshly cut meat, after discarding those bits I was left with a bit of edible donner meat, only decent thing was the grilled chicken and chips, wasted nearly £12. The same happened 10 months ago. Will NOT be ordering from here again!.

Changing my previous review as I tried the cheshire fish bar again and they did not disappoint, lovely chips the battered cod is nice and crispy. One of the best in winsford by far and super quick delivery

We sometimes drop by - on average every three months - for fish & chips on the way home. The food is hot and wholesome, in an uninspired setting with disinterested counter staff. In short, it works for what you need, but nithing to write home about.

I live across the road and have given this chippy multiple attempts, the chips are always scraps and drown in oil... they once served me a pie covered in mould inside.

Excellent fish and chips today, best I have had for a while.

Last time I go there. All the chips were basically scraps, oily to the point they were falling apart by themselves and on top of that recieved such skimpy amounts they didn't even fill the box base. I've been going less and less because of the deteriorating quality I've experienced and now no more. Chips there make oven chips look 5 star.

Chips very good had a sausage bap they cut the sausage in arf to cook quicker looked like road kill and tasted like it too open but no food ready

I have been coming here for years. Since I was kid, its lovely place the pies are nice, and fish chips are very nice.

We went in here for a quick bite to eat but was pleasantly surprised at how clean it was. The food was plentiful (too much for me really) but perfect for the hubby. Would definitely visit again.

Good fish and chips. I would have given it a five star rating but they were a bit rushed so didn't let the fish drain properly before wrapping it up in paper. The fish was hot when i got home but was greasy and stuck to the paper. Still good but could've been much better. Will try again and hopefully will be able to give a five star rating.

I used to love the chips and fish from here as did my dad ... but since changes .. small portions over cooked and more expensive .. big shame

Good food at a reasonable price

Most of both meals went in the bin. None of it was fresh. The fish had been left in the hot hold for so long that the fish itself was dry, the batter on the top was soggy and also burnt on the bottom. The chips in both portions where horrible and soggy. All in all a complete waste. This was the first and last time we are going here.

Ripped me off food was awfull tried to contact them they blocked me with out a reply Hi just driven 200 miles arrived in Winsford tired and hungry rang your shop and ordered food (2 x kids meals 2 x large kebabs 1 x sausage 1 x chips 1 x reg cod ) had to wait nearly one hour for delivery and I rang the shop to find out how much longer as we had very hungry children! We were not told on phone the total price we added it up £20.50 but was charged £27? when we rang to check told it was a delivery charge! ..again not told this on phone. Lastly food cold and most of it in bin!!! Most disapointed and unlikely to use you again! Also asked for salt and vinegar on all chipsl, but all chips plain and the kebabs were small

Best takeaway in Winsford and we have been to all of them over 17 years, even came back and handed a receipt for work expenses, top class, I don't recommend anything unless they over and above and they do, my daughter absolutely loves their pizza's with fresh tomatoes, I love the spicy pizza's - CLASS
