Really bad service no even glass they gave us we asked 3 time they no even take quick order. They not good

I had a great experience at Chennai Dosa, thanks to Charmie’s excellent service. She welcomed us with a warm smile and made sure everything was perfect. The food was delicious—especially the chicken dosa and mutton biryani, with the mutton being incredibly tender and the biryani full of flavor. The chicken noodles had an authentic street food vibe. While the chicken 65 and rasmalai were average, the overall experience was fantastic. Highly recommend!

Food was delicious and the way of service was good.

Bathurah was excellent, a perfect 10/10. I tried two different dosas—coriander and onion—and both were delicious. The paneer chilli was also quite good. However, the service was extremely slow, and it took an hour to receive the complete order.

We ordered take away as we had to drive 6 hours up north ubereats showed 30 Mins for delivery and they made us wait for 60 minutes

Extremely bad coordination and service by the team. Take away order was delayed by more than one hour, no proper update were given by any of the front house staff despite us asking multiple times if there was going to be a delay and us telling them we were happy to cancel the order due to 5 hour drive - we were initially told 10mins after asking the second time and the food arrived 30mis later after we enquired for the fourth time. Only one of the staff was professional and gracious enough to actually check on the order while all others just kept ignoring customers. Appreciate it was a busy weekend, but do not expect a business in the hospitality/food business to be so aloof, unresponsive and have no plans in place to coordinate between deliveries, take away and sit in customers

waited 45 minutes to give an order after the order 2 dishes came after 30 minutes, said one dish had ran out and took another 30 minutes to receive the rest of the food. when the food came the started was cold and main dish meat was overcooked and chewy. after the meal we asked for tea and was told all beverages were finished by 8:45pm

I usually ordered from this restaurant on collection delivery but today we went for dining and we ordered veg. Manchurian for starters and it’s was not cooked and not crispy then I told one of staff and he bring another one in less quantity and again was same then we leave the Manchurian and ordered dosa. Staff was not take seriously and just said sorry.

One of the worst experience. .i never expected this in uk also. ordered food we got after 45mints its not hot no tasty .service is also bad.staff shouting at customers.

Chennai Dosa Restaurant is a great place to try authentic South Indian cuisine, such as dosa. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the food is delicious even my sister loved it (she doesn't like indian foods lol). parking car was a task in the street but trust me its worth!

Amazing food at affordable price

I have tried most of the chennai dosa restaurants around London but the quality of the food, price and the taste in this restaurant was outstanding. The staff named Bala was very friendly and professional, he was honest about the waiting time and tried his best to satisfy our requirements. Highly recommended

**Disappointing Experience at Chennai Dosa** I had an extremely disappointing experience at Chennai Dosa. The food was a complete letdown; it was almost inedible and felt like a waste. The dishes lacked flavor and seemed stale. To make matters worse, the customer service was atrocious. The staff was unhelpful and rude, making the entire experience uncomfortable. Additionally, they don't even have an ATM swiping machine, which was incredibly inconvenient. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for a decent meal or good service.

Went this chennai dosa with my family… after seen some reviews… we went there with little hesitation., but unexpectedly., the food was excellent…. Of course the service was little slow but there was the reason., and acceptable also this what happens almost all the places…. They trying their best to serve the customers…. Glad to seen Mr. Bala ., who served us… an excellent service and the polite behavior. Thank you Bala u made our day… the food we tasted everything was exceptional. Thank you… will see you again…

Extremely poor meal quality and the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Even worse, they don't even offer card payment services. Additionally, I would strongly advise you to look elsewhere if you're expecting decent service and good food for your money. If not, you'll experience the same disappointment as we did.

We recently ordered food from Chennai Dosa, and it was a terrible experience. The food was mostly wasted because it was poorly cooked and practically inedible. The customer service was awful; the staff were unresponsive and rude. They don't even have an ATM swiping machine, which is highly inconvenient. Please, don't waste your money here. If you're willing to spend money freely, it's better to give it to someone in need rather than wasting it on this place.

Really pathetic and indecent service. The people who serve has no manners. Very bad management. When i came to the shop he asked me to sit on a table infront of till with someone else which I dont even know. I had seen many free tables. The person did not allow me to sit on any of those seats. This is very bad culture and indecent behavior.

Service is to good i m allergenic for coconut . Staff help me to find dishes without coconut. Thank you so much its great time

The food served is not of a good quality,even serving the dishes which is the left over from previous day,specially the potato masala inside masala dosa they serve on sunday and saturday which is with unlimited breakfast. Another bad experience today- It is them deciding where the customer should sit.Even though no one sitting at the space which the customer needs,ie a two seat table they wanted us to sit with someone else we dont even know.I felt it very awkward.The customer service is very poor. Its we giving the money,we are the one who decides where to sit and what to eat.If we are giving money,we expect basic quality of food and basic courtesy and service.

I had been to the Chennai dosa in Swindon so many times and loved it. I expected this to have the same level of service but unfortunately it's not, food is mediocre, place isn't that clean, for some reason they don't accept cards! And the weekend breakfast is not really unlimited.

It is one of the best South Indian food restaurants in Birmingham city center. Staff are friendly, however there were not sufficient number of staff compared to restaurant's busy business. Food is tasty and awesome. Weekend evening is busy, and it is better to reserve the seat before your arrival.

This place was amazing and the staff where really great to us, helping us everytime. The food was beyond our expectations. Hope this place stays on....

Never fails to disappoint, food is always good

We have purchased thick jaldi from this shop yesterday and as soon we reached home and tasted sweets felt like fish oil is used for sweets as well and getting the bad taste and I wanted to call and tell them regarding this but they didn't pick so want to update every one that sweets is not rcommended to buy form this shop. Other food items was ok but regarding sweets not a good experience.

We had an unfortunate experience with their jalebi, which emitted a strong fish odor. It appears they may be using old fish fry oil in their preparation. I kindly request that Chennai Dosa refrain from selling such products and consider using fresher oils for cooking. Your customers’ health should be a top priority.”

We really enjoyed our lunch today. The masala dosas are excellent and very good value. We finished off with delicious masala chi. All round good choice for our visit to Birmingham.

We enjoyed the delicious masala dosa, the fluffy soft idly and the crispy chicken 65 and finished with tasty South Indian coffee bringing the taste of South Indian food to UK. The server was most polite, prompt and pleasant and we look forward to coming here often.

Crap of service, i have ordered for fish thali and after 20 minutes they come and tell its not available. I have tasted their masala chai and felt it good and i have ordered same. But in return they have got me normal chai.
