No recomendado. Veg estaba sabroso.

I am amazed just how bad the service was during my recent morning visit to the hotel. I had a business meeting and then decided to have breakfast in the restaurant - I arrived at 10.25am. There was no welcome or indeed any interest in a new customer. On finally getting a waitress’s attention I asked to sit against the wall for privacy, but was told that she had just set that table for lunch ! The restaurant was 1/4 full at best. The table I was given was dirty with crumbs all over it - I asked for it to be wiped and ordered a cappuchino - 10 minutes later no attention , no clean table, no cappuchino , nobody asked for my order or explained the buffet. The staff really didn’t care. I decided to leave and moved to the bar area, but sadly no improvement . The bar man , David , was totally disinterested . I sat down and nobody approached me . Eventually after my intervention , my drink turned up (15-20 minutes after arriving in the location). I then had to ask David to bring over a bar menu and later on asked him again to take the order. I ordered a simple cheeseburger -medium please - no - I could only have well done ! 20 minutes later , with 3 staff chatting together at the bar - I asked where my food was -the answer I received from David was that it takes a long time because it is well done ! - it then turned up 2 minutes after I asked. I asked for malt vinegar , and then recived white vinegar with no spoon to pour it. The burger was very average - I ate half and wanted to leave and forget the whole experience. Yes , it really was this bad. I would encourage the management/owners to run a mystery customer test to see for themselves the lack of interest and care their front of house serving staff exhibit. It reflects very poorly on what might well be an excellent hotel.

This restaurant has a very dated interior and feels sad despite the pleasant outlook onto the marina. The food was average to say the least - the crab falafel tasted of anything other than the crab. The steak was the worst we have had for a long time - tough and well overdone. We had to wait for ages for the starter to turn up with a long wait for the main. We gave up on the pudding. Not impressed..

We had lunch at the brasserie while staying at this hotel. It was a warm sunny day so chose to sit in the verandah overlooking Chelsea harbour. We all ordered the club sandwich but I requested mine to have smoked salmon & cream cheese and although it was not in the menu the waiter said it was not a problem. The food arrived and we were surprised it came with a basket of French fries and all our sandwiches were huge. The food was served hot and we all struggled to finish but because it was so nice we ate everything on our plates and was completely full. Prices of the food is reasonable considering it is a 5 star hotel and would recommend it if you are in the area

Looking to go out for a meal at an interesting restaurant, we happened upon this hotelAs it states on its website:" Enjoy alfresco dining with majestic views at the Harbour Bar and Terrace, or indulge in a rich fusion of British and Italian cuisine at the Chelsea Riverside Brassiere. "Given the promise of majestic views from within a Brassiere, which many of us have tried, unsuccessfully, to get into in the past, we looked forward to the experience. Unfortunately, it transpired that contrary to the website description, they were offering a Brasserie, not a Brassiere. You can imagine our disappointment.

Got real excited about going here, because the location is second to none but the alarm bell started to ring when firstly our verbal orders for drinks was passed from one barman to the next to the next only to then find the 3rd barman couldn't remember what he'd been told and he then had to ask us to repeat our request. We then found that we (4) along with a table of two were the only ones in this large beautiful restaurant. The food we had choicen was ok but a little boring. I choose the Asparagus and Italian blue cheese risotto, it was so poor that I sent it back after 1/4 of the plate and could have faced another attempt.I wouldn't recommend or hurry back.

Having decided to spend new year at the Chelsea harbour hotel we booked into the brasserie for a 9 course dinner, having stayed at the hotel before we had no doubts that we would have a lovely evening. It didn't start well as before we left home we realised we hadn't had confirmation of our table reservation, made some 3 weeks before. Luckily we rang, as the gentleman who took the phone call had failed to register our table booking even though he assured me it would be put on our reservation at the main desk! We were given a table but thank goodness we had checked. The evening sarted well enough with drinks in the bar and we were shown through to our table where the champagne and over sized canapés arrived soon after. The first course arrived, and some 25 minutes later the second course arrived. From then on it went drastically down hill, after complaining, the third course arrived 50 minutes later! , plus it was the wrong course! We noticed that tables that had arrived some 30-40 minutes after us were already on their main course! We had a long wait again for the other course and then by the time the main course arrived, my husband, who is diabetic was feeling quite ill and so he had to go back to our room. After speaking with the maitre de and one of the managers the rest of our meal was sent to our room. The whole evening was totally spoiled by the very poor service. Having said all of this we have to say the quality of the food was excellent. The result was that we were not charged for the evening which was some compensation, although having travelled some 4 - 5 hours by car to enjoy new year celebrations in London we would have preferred to have not had this bad experience.

We had breakfast here during our stay at the hotel. If available, pick seats overlooking the harbour. The views are definitely worth it. The breakfast itself was just OK. Your hot food is a la carte (but limited by combinations) and the cold food is buffet. Not sure why they have not made it all buffet - would make things so much simpler. Although the service was fine, we have had much better breakfasts in 4-star hotels - so was not exactly wowed by the food. The views though are great.

On Sunday we enjoyed a lovely afternoon spent at the Chelsea harbour hotel, relishing the prospect of eating from the riverside brasserie sunday brunch menu.Priced very reasonably at £35, with unlimited bucks fizz, we were treated to a varied a la carte menu selection alongside a traditional roast. The wonderful array of starters included seafood, salad, cheese and cured meats. It was so tasty and fresh that we had to have seconds! However, the highlight was the dessert table. Each small treat looked fabulous and it proved difficult making a selection. The problem was that we didn't have enough room to enjoy them all! The cappucino mousse and mixed fruit tart were notably delicious.Unfortunately it was not without fault. The main disappointment was the carvery, which to be honest, is so often the case. The method of having your meat sliced and then having to wait for someone else to provide potatoes and vegetables was at odds with the rest of the wonderful service. We also had to wait a long time for our soft drinks. For some reason it didn't seem to occur to anyone that we might have wanted something other than bucks fizz, which was a little disappointing. The staff were warm and welcoming, although some were clearly more attentive than others. All in all, this is a wonderful setting to enjoy a meal. The location is beautiful and the view from our window table splendid. Perhaps if we return we will opt for a midweek evening meal.

My brother and I took our Mother here for Mother's Day lunch. When I made the booking for three people we were given the choice of accepting the Mum Goes For Free offer. When we arrived, after ten minutes, I had to stand up and ask the maître to take our drinks order. We proceeded to the buffet for three courses. The selection / food was amazing, but unfortunately when we went up for dessert they cleared all our drinks?!? After tracking down the maître again we were given a bottle of still water but no new soft drinks. When we went to pay we were presented with the bill and a free bottle of wine voucher for the next visit. After seeing the total, realising and flagging we had been charged for "Mum", we were told the offer on the website was: "three PAYING guests gets the Mum Goes For Free". If the site knew there weren't four of us attending why did it present us with the offer!?!? Also the waiter removed the bill and the free bottle of wine voucher from the table. I only realised on the way home. 1) I wanted the receipt to check I hadn’t been charged for the extra water and 2) I now do not care about the free bottle of wine voucher as I have no intention of going back. Such as shame as this place has so much potential but it has let us down on two previous occasions - three strikes and you are out!

From start to finish a absolute joke!! To quote some of the things that went wrong. Me and my wife booked this venue as had general good reviews and looked over Chelsea harbour. We started by booking way back in oct 2014 with there events co-ordinator Georgia graham, everything seemed ok until after Xmas in jan 2015 we expected to be contacted we wasn't!!!! To make matters worst we were told Georgia had left and we had not been informed!!! So we asked to speak to the duty manager and was put on hold while he dealt with another customer, now I don't know about you but when you have a customer that has spent thousands of pounds with you and they are unhappy you put them first and sort the issue out. Anyway finally we was passed over to a new colleague called Katie pollock and we was ensured everything would be ok. We reluctantly went along with it and were not surprised when yet again a week before our wedding was told Katie was leaving and it was to be handed over again!!! We could not believe it!! On the day of the wedding we told the organisers that our dj who was also a guest would need to get into the hotel by 10.00am which they agreed but of course this was not the case at all and he missed the church service because of it!! We also have strict instructions as to who would have a slightly different starter and they got that wrong too. We didn't see our organiser all day apart from at the beginning which was a disgrace. The only saving grace was the bar manager who was very nice and friendly but ofcourse before we left yet again the hotel messed up again telling us as we tried to check out we owed money for a complimentary breakfast and we found out they had broken one of our hired vases which we had to pay for. To add insult to the wounds we got a email while on our honeymoon asking us if we wanted to pay service charge I mean are you having a laugh!! Total total joke

Did not stay here but did attend a Gala Dinner as part of a trade fair. All I can say is very disappointing. For a hotel of this calibre, the experience should have been much better. The food was OK but not outstanding but the staff really let the event down. Not particularly friendly (gruffly pointing out to guests that it was only one glass of cava each at the reception), clearing away plates whilst others were eating, clearing away side plates that were not finished with and leaning over people eating to collect glasses. The duty manager walked around chewing gum for the entire evening (really not suitable for a top class hotel) and had her identity card on full view round her neck (not very presentable).Lastly, and I know it is a common London thing - please do not add a 'discretionary' percentage to my drink orders. Not sure when I go up to the bar, why I should pay 15% extra to have a bottle of beer opened? Should do better Chelsea Harbour.

Decided to visit this hotel for valentines afternoon tea, it was my boyfriends first time having it and I have to say I was so so disappointed. I have been to many afternoon tea's in London, both pricey and cheap and this was by far the worst. We arrived and were seated promptly and it did not take long for our tea to come, which was nice. However it all went a little down hill from there, with a list of issues.- Firstly, the waiter forgot about our tea, about 10 minutes later we had to ask if we could actually have some, which is ridiculous at an afternoon tea.- Secondly, the sandwiches were a very small portion, with no refills available. The bread was also fairly stale and could of just been your everyday hovis loaf. Both of which i found surprising for a £50 afternoon tea. - The scones were stale.- The waiters not only ignored us, but also had a little quarrel in front of our table. The only plus side were the desserts, which were beautifully presented and tasted great.Overall the experience was beyond disappointing and pretty much ruined my valentines treat. We tried to splash out on something romantic and nice, but it ended up being a waste. Maybe our experience was a one off, but i would not return again.

Tucked at the back of a hotel lobby, and by Chelsea harbour, this place was deserted when we went. The food was alright, but nothing to shout about. The service was OK. Going outside for a cigarette was a palaver as getting out of the bi-folding doors most of which are locked needed constant staff intervention. Tried a bottle of Chateaux du Pap, which was excellent; if £40. Expensive, but this is Chelsea. While nothing was particularly wrong, I wouldn't rush back as no atmosphere. If you want to walk to somewhere nearby or are staying there, you could do worse.

We have visited this restaurant a number of times and have been overwhelmed by the quality of service. The Menu is varied but offers a good choice for every taste. For starters we generally choose the Pan seared scallops but I have also tried the Prawn Cocktail with Virgin Bloody Mary jelly and celery oil and the Beef Carpaccio, all of which have been delicious. For mains I have tried the Moules Marinière, the Duo of Cornish Lamb and the Baby Spatchcock Chicken with Peri-Peri. The chicken wasn't the best but still perfectly acceptable. My partner has also had the Chicken Breast which she really enjoyed. I personally don't eat deserts but my partner has tried virtually all of them and enjoyed every one.But it is the setting, overlooking Chelsea Harbour and the service which really makes this restaurant. Our last meal was not quite up to standard and the manager immediately refused to9 take payment for the bill and offered us free champagne as compensation. We live nearby the hotel so decided to check out the restaurant for lunch. We were offered an express lunch menu at £18 for 2 courses or £22 for 3.The service was excellent, the food was good, and the bill was only £45 including service. I ordered a 3 course lunch and my fiance had fish from the BBQ menu. Considering it's a beautiful London location in within a 5 star hotel this is definitely good value for money. By comparison, it's not uncommon to pay £15-18 for a burger in nearby pubs in this area of London.I think where some reviewers may have run in to problems is that the A la carte menu could add up quickly. Had I ordered the steak, which exceeded £30 I would have expected perfection. That said, if I wanted steak I would likely have headed over to Gaucho or Hawksmoor.Chelsea Riverside Brasserie, delivered on my expectations, provided excellent service, and left me leaving happy. You can't ask for more than that.

We booked the the 3 course dinner with a free glass of Prosecco. First problem was we seated at a table between two smoking couples. Cannot understand why people are allowed to smoke at a restaurant. The first course was an unimaginative prawn dish. The second a small and boring Sea Brim. Finally we got to desert . We wanted something not clogged in chantlly cream which most of their deserts seem to be. We were told that it was impossible to do that so a good desert was ruined by wads of fake cream. We purchased a glass of wine. So 28 pound each now became nearly 45 ponds each.No value here. The compulsory service fee of around 12% is something we don't have in Australia. We tip if the service and food is good.Don't waste your time on this one.

I've been to an awful lot of restaurants in London and I can safely say that Chelsea Riverside Brassiere provide myself and my family with one of the biggest disappointments we've experienced.Initially we thought it would be fantastic- lovely décor inside the hotel leading to a terrace that overlooks Chelsea harbour, great for boating enthusiasts or people watchers. Menu was good, pricey but that is to be expected in that type of London location. The problems we had were with the staff, who seemed to still be in training. They missed basic things such as pouring wine (which you expect in a restaurant of this calibre), delays with taking orders and then finding out that what we ordered was unavailable because either the ingredients had ran out or the oven was broken! We went to this restaurant for a special occasion, my Mothers birthday, which we had informed them about upon booking and were told she would receive a birthday plate with dessert and there was no sign of this. Overall the food we actually did get was tasty and the venue was lovely, plus the manager received our complaints gracefully and discounted us a bottle of wine but we were let down on this occasion by kitchen and service issues.

We dined on a Monday lunchtime , and although the place was almost empty , it still had a lovely atmosphere, due to the friendly staff and nice background music. The food was lovely, the resturant , bright and airy , tabes spread far apart, not cramped together like some, and the view is super on a sunny day like today. Can't wait to return

The food was excellent, each dish being presented in a very elegant manner. The service was impeccable. We had a wonderful view over the harbour and even 'though it was evening the lights reflecting on the water gave a wonderful ambience. The dining room was well presented and we definitely hope to return one day. Full marks to the chef and to Lila who oversaw the dining room staff.

The staff in the restaurant were attentive & VERY warm, but it took an awfully long time for the food to arrive, which was not their fault. The slow delivery of the food was especially surprising because the restaurant was empty. But, when it did arrive the food was good.We liked the setting in this 5-star hotel which overlooks a small marina. I imagine the terrace seating must get very busy in the summer. We had pre-drinks in the hotel bar which is right next to the restaurant. The service was very good in there too.We had booked the Star Deal - 3 courses for around £30/head, but there was nothing on that menu that we fancied - plus we didn't want dessert. So we went a la carte. My smoked salmon starter was the best I'd ever had; and I'd give the same rating to the gourmet burger & fries that followed. I ordered pepper sauce and rocket parmesan salad on the side.Christine had the fish cake starter. It was nice, but her first mouthful involved a large, menacing bone. When she complained the chef sent an apology and agreed it should not have been in there. Her main was duck, which she said was ok but tough. It came on a bed of mash potato which was quite sufficient, but the server encouraged us to pay extra for new potatoes that were not touched. This was annoying.Christine complained about that. Our very polite server listened but didn't offer to do anything. A free glass of wine would have been an easy way of making amends. Personally, I think the fish cake starter and the potato side dish should both have been comped.Total bill (excluding bar) was £120 including a 12.5% service charge which is not optional. They also do that very annoying thing of soliciting an extra gratuity on the chit. I hate that!!!The location is not very convenient. All in all, I don't think we'll be back anytime soon!

Visited on a Sunday for lunch. The service was poor and unattentive. The seating on the terrace should have been pleasant but was rather not. Noisy children and planes overhead did not help. Rather than order lunch, we decided to have a coffee to see if it became more tolerable for lunch. Again slow service, poor coffee AND cost of two coffees was just over £10! This place is a total rip off with no ambience, dreary atmosphere, poor service and not worth a visit. Later found lunch at the Bluebird restaurant on King's road fantastic!

We went to the Chelsea Riverside Brasserie for an anniversary dinner. The food could not be faulted in any way and the service was attentive without being over-powering. We had a table with views over the small harbour. The only criticism (which is not a reflection on the restaurant) was that there were very few people there that evening which did have an impact on the atmosphere; a shame as the place is so good. All things considered it was a very pleasant experience.

Enjoyed a fabulous lunch on the terrace overlooking the harbour with clients. Great service, client's loved it, could have been in the South of France. Food was perfectly presented and cooked. Looking forward to my next visit.

This restaurant is in the Wyndham Hotel Chelsea Harbour and has excellent service and very good food. For some reason it hasn't quite achieved the popularity it deserves - perhaps because its tucked away in the hotel. The food is excellent and the service very good. I had Gnocchi which is a difficult dish to make great and had it two nights, one with rabbit and both were superb. The steaks (Argeninian or Australian) are also good. I feel it needs to stabilize its staff. Every time I come there are different people. Maybe its growing pains. The view of the small harbour is very nice. Its on the edge of being great. It certainly won't disappoint.

Recently came here for a visit during our trip to London for a few beers. Had to visit as my brother had worked here many years ago. Beer was great. Staff was friendly.
