1st time ordered was fast delivery and food was hot and delicious will definitely be ordering again...

Not the best chippy in the world.

Normal chippy stuff. Decent food, decent sized portions, decent prices.

I was gutted by this place was told it was good. 3 pieces of chicken and chips. All pieces of Chicken were raw on the inside over cooked on the outside. Disgusting food. I did not bother with the chips. They need be reported.

Had large chips and peas yesterday, chips was hard as was the peas. Undercooked and now we are all poorly. Won’t go there again.

It's just a good old British Chippy, you cant beat it

First time trying. Unfortunately won't be visiting again. Chips - hubby says chips were nice, mine were okay. Battered sausage - alright Fish - bland, no seasoning in the batter, fish:batter ratio was hit and miss, some parts were ridiculously thick and other parts there was barely any coating, definitely not fresh. Gravy - gravy is gravy, thick but we like it that way All in all it seems like it's quantity over quality as portions are very big. Could have easily spilt the fish between the 2 of us, had we enjoyed and eaten it. Not worth the £20 or the wait, although we did appreciate the call to say that they were busy and to apologise for the longer than expected wait.

Ordered online for delivery. The food was absolutely disgusting, totally inedible. Oil was actually pouring out the side of the chip trays. The chicken kebab was black in places, dried out and hard, the order was also incorrect. Everything went straight in the bin. Called the store and an employee said the owner would bring us a refund which he didn't do. Contacted the company who processes the orders who requested a refund which the owner repeatedly rejected. They still owe me over £20. Couldn't recommend a place any less.

We went here last night, new to the area food was awful. Greasy soggy chips, undercooked sausage and the peas were rank overly salted! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

First ever order and will be our last. Ordered large battered cod, chips and peas x 2 and 2 potato fritters + a cold drink. The cold drink was wrapped in with the food so it was warm and the food was cooled by it significantly. The food looked as though it had bounced around the car and was falling out of the polystyrene containers, which were COVERED in grease. The fish tasted frozen, the batter was incredibly thick and horrible, the potato fritters ditto and tasted old, the chips were very greasy and the whole meal was inedible. Finally, the peas included in the order were not in the containers, nor were they included separately. This is the WORST fish and chips I have ever tasted and I lived in London for over a decade. Even my cats would not eat the fish. AVOID!!!!

Fast service. There's no food in the heaters and I don't have the time during my lunch break to wait for the food to be cooked fresh.

Very nice fish & chips (not fries). Both the curry sauce and gravy are nice but I'm not a fan of their mushy peas.

Great fish & chips. Their southern fried chicken is as good as KFC. Delivery is quick and the food is always hot. Fully recommend.

Nice fish chips with good service

I have been many times and it can be hit or miss but the last 4 times I have been have all been terrible. Extremely greasy fish, the chips are stuck together and stuck to the paper too and on some occasions stuck to the fish. The mushy peas are like water and at times not even fully cooked. They also for some weird reason always put the mushy peas on top of the fish which means the fish turns into baby food when eating the only item that is consistently good are the puddings overall extremely disappointing.

We ordered on their website and both got fried chicken, with no mention on their website that this wasnt served at certain times. We then got a phonecall to say they did not do chicken at lunch time so we asked to cancel, but were told she had no idea how to do it and we had to look on their website, but there was absolutely no option for this. So we were forced to order something else from the menu. Our food turned up quickly but this was about the only good tbing about it. The fish was a greasy mess with barely any fish inside, and the chips were covered in oil, they obviously hadnt been drained well enough. And my donner was so dry, it looked like it had been sat there for about a month! We enjoyed the chicken that we had got here in the past, but we definitely won't be coming back again.

shop very clean, saw the lady outside having a smoke, coughing something terrible. she came in did not wash her hands, not wearing overall or hat wanted two fish but did not want her handling them. just had small chips which seemed very hard and over cooked. wanted to try them but with the hygiene issue threw them away.Well changes to be made in the near future maybe give it another go

It is a really good place and the staff are hard working. Everything there is better than any overs. The staff need a pay raise.

First time I'd been it's set back from the road a little so you can miss it. ........its clean bright friendly staff good menu and most importantly the takeaway chips were excellent. ...I don't have chip shop meals often as I am always disappointed most of them can't cook chips. ....but these guys have got it cracked. 😊😊😊😊😊

Sorry, I have purchased stuff from here about 4 times, every time we have been disappointed. This is definitely the last time. I bought chips and gravy, £2,80 crikey, the gravy was so thick it could be used as axle grease. It tasted like something I never tasted before, not gravy that's for sure. No wonder there are very few people when we visit,

Avoid..... I brought some chips.... I think they were last weeks as they were dry and hard. This place needs new staff or closing down.

Good price and size, but we ended up throwing most of the chips away, far too hard my kids said they were " yack chips" and wouldn't eat them. Did pick out a few nice ones so probably went at a bad time.

Large fish and chips will feed 2 and at a good price. Some good specials available.
