Chefs Takeaway in Southampton

My favourite Chinese food place. And staff always friendly. Highly recommend the BBQ sauce on chips and the giant pancake rolls

Food is nice the pancake rolls need looking at as they don't contain alot of meat if they do its very small it used ti be chunks of pork and chicken and prawns in them. Curry chips are lovely. Fish well that could do with more fish less batter. They are not great on how to pay fir food cash only umm 🤔 They only open when they want have turned up after a 45min drive to them on a Monday got to them at 5.55pm and they are shut, no one there at all Very disappointed, they need to stuck with the opening times and not be willy nilly. Also they need to get some menu's printed out for people

Great place to go for your weekly Chinese or cod and chips. The owners are lovely people and the prices are reasonable

One of the worst curries ever had.no flavour just onions and meat .where are the mushroom and peas.if I wanted onions and meat I would have asked for it

Had large curry chips £3.50 have to say they were very nice ,curry sauce not overpowering and plenty of it poured over the chips 😋👌

I have been using chefs on and off since 1979. Still great food and portions. Their pancake rolls a must try and special curry. The staff are polite with a warm smile.

Fish was still frozen after it was cooked not nice won't be going there again

Cheap and cheerful but great food!!!

My mum ate here years ago and introduced me to their place a few months ago. This is #1 choice for chinese & fish and chips, nowhere else even comes close to chefs!! Price is cheap, food is super tasty and he is very generous with portions. Love this place!
