Welcoming and friendly staff, prompt food service after ordering on app. The chicken breast was cooked brilliantly and was very tender, complimented perfectly with a couple sides and hot sauce.

Me and my girl are celebrating our anniversary and after a long day decided to eat at this nandos Got the same thing we always do the boneless Shara and towards the end of the meal the chicken smelt really funky I ended up leaving the last of my food told one of the workers "that the chicken was hard and smelt like its gone off" and that it wasn't a big deal and not to worry and that I just wanted them to check Anyway later that night me and my girl both have stomach issues both have thrown up

Had dinner today at this Nandos. The service was excellent. We ordered chicken wings, chips and sweet corn. Chicken wings were not freshly cooked so that wasn’t good enough.Food came to the table really quick.

The Currasco burger was nice but the bun was burnt. The half chicken was dry and seemed bland. Not enough marinade. The bottomless coca cola zero was totally flat no fizz. The service was very good and professional.

Visiting Southampton so this was my first stop for a meal after a long drive from Stoke-on-Trent Received a warm welcome from Drew .Customer service was second best to none Well-done young man keep up the good customer care ,You will go far

Breast in burger wasn't grilled like they cook the thighs, sent my burger back as it was just smothered in sauce, 2nd one came back the same - all I could taste was the sauce which was too spicy for me. I gave up and gave the burger to my son. I had a couple of his thighs and they were grilled properly. Waitress confirmed at the end that the chicken breasts used in the burgers are cooked on a different grill to the thighs and more basted. It's a shame as it ruined my experience which was a birthday treat for my daughter. I have had a nandos before and the chicken was grilled properly.

We were in town and fancied a nandos for lunch, as we both wanted a chicken it worked out slightly cheaper to go for a sharing platter of a whole chicken with 2 large sides of fries and rainbow slaw. Chicken was nicely cooked so it was still tender and mildly spiced (lemons and herb) we could then help ourselves to the great selection of hot sauces to spice it to our tastes. Chips are nothing special but the rainbow slaw is exceptional, refreshing, crunchy with a lovely tang from the dressing. Good for a quick and satisfying lunch

I placed a £50 order on the nandos app and only received my drinks and dip. When I finally got through to customer service they wanted to give me a partial re fund for the stuff I was missing meaning I'd be left with two dips and no food. Great solution they wouldn't offer me a full refund and couldn't send it out for re delivery it has been handled applingly and I certainly will not be doing this again

I was served by Tom today who was an absolute star! A warm welcome on entering the restaurant, making sure I had everything I needed and always smiling, every Nando’s branch needs a Tom, will definitely be coming back because of Tom! 5 stars all the way!

Our family including newly wed son and wife died at Nandos, West Quay leisure, Southampton today. I would like to give a special mention to all the people who served our lunch because they were exceptionally kind,friendly and helpful with great big smiles. They couldn't have been more attentive and our food was beautifully cooked and served. If all Nandos staff are like these lovely people, you will have many more happy customers. Best sweet potato wedges I have had. Be careful of the heat in the peri peri sauce for the chicken. We had the chicken breast and the boneless chicken thighs. Both were okay. Everything is self-serve. Go to counter to order food, go to another counter to fill beverage of choice, another counter for silverware, napkins, and extra sauces. Food will be brought to your table though.

Usual menu but service needs work, cold food (other tables sending theirs back as well) and had to ask 3 times for all our order.

As a lone diner with anxiety I'm not good at going in places alone. Stopped off in Nandos and was made to feel very welcome. Was seated in a nice area and shown how to use the app. Food arrived quickly and was really tasty. We don't have Nandos on the Isle of Wight so was a treat for me. Will come again.

I completed the online review but it didn’t give me chance to say how lovely and friendly the gentleman in the checked shirt was (he had very short, sandy coloured hair if that helps). He made our experience! We went on Saturday 12th August. I’m sorry I didn’t get his name but he was an excellent ambassador for Nando’s.

Yesss!!! NANDO SOUTHAMPTON!!! Best nandos I've been too in awhile. The Chefs know how to cook chicken. I was with a biggish group of guys on Saturday evening and the staff all of them 10/10. I really did appreciate all of the staff and I know maybe serving a large group of guys might be abit 🤔 but genuinely Love it there good people of at Southampton 10/10

What an amazing visit! You can’t go wrong with a cheeky Nandos and you generally get good food and service. However, today this Nandos was excellent; great team, wonderful service and good food. There was a slight issue with my bill (nothing insurmountable) but the team went above and beyond to sort it out. A huge shout out to the manager who clearly runs a tight ship. We will definitely be visiting this Nandos again - highly recommended!!

One of the worst experiences I've ever had in a nandos; No chicken left, Dry and burnt chicken wings, Unfriendly and unhelpfull staff who got the order wrong and when this was raised with them it was ignored.

1 hour for delivery, ordered large peri peri chips and came with no seasoning and half way filled.

As the many of these place space and well designed sitting areas. Food is fresh . And served hot. 19th March 23. Placed take away order, ft the service was a bit slow wasn't busy arnd 1300hrs, had to ask if order was done as it appeared to me they were placing these in-store orders with the uber delivery. And have noticed lately,.after ordering on getting home they are no sauces placed had to ask if there was any thrown in as I was watching from where I was sitted, she then asked which flavours i wanted. Not just at this place only .

Food was Nando’s and I enjoyed, it was West Quays turn to be front of house office with papers strewn over tables and a worker busily reviewing her sales figures on the side with her computer. Sad to see!

Great food & great service what’s not to love! Being able to order from the table via the QR code is absolutely amazing, I’m so glad this became a thing! Being able to go round the table asking what everyone wants rather than going up to order and going, ah what did they want again.😅 On my recent visit here, they were busy but that didn’t stop the great service, the drinks & food came far quicker than I anticipated.😊

I ordered my food through my phone at 8:13 pm on Thursday 29/12/2022. Until 8:45 pm. All I received is a starter. I asked the staff there why, all I can understand is that “this is my fault, because I ordered starters and mains at the same time. They have to cook starter for me first, after that then they will start to cook my main.” I’ve orders a 1/2 chicken and chicken liver as my main. They told me that they will only bring two mains together to me, even one of the mains was cooked. So I had to wait there watching my friends having their 1/2 chicken, and wait for my two meals all cooked. This just doesn’t make sense. They’d rather let their customers sit there and wait for half an hour than letting them have something to eat first. Especially, we came as a group of three, all I can do during that time was watching my friends eat. Didn’t mention that we have things planned at 9:30, which gave me no time to finish my food. At the end, I’ve been told by one of guys that I still need to wait for extra 10 mins or more for my food, and I asked them to refund my food. They told me “alright, we just gonna throw all your food to the bin, and they will all be wasted”. What a move! Try to do a guilt trip on your customer after they’re waiting for their food for 40 mins. The staff wasn’t apologetic at all, all he tried to do is telling me that it’s the way I did it made my food come late, it’s not their fault. “Wagamama is doing the same thing” as I quote from the guy who’s in charge. Typical strategy, try to let the customer take the blame. Not pleased about this. Will never visit that place anymore.

Very busy so had to wait 15 mins, but it was lunch time & week before Christmas. Did not wait any longer than that, so no problem. Food served hot and not long to wait. Staff friendly. Enjoyable meal, glad we waited.

The order was made incorrectly and when they brought our order it was cold and the rice was dry and not fresh. I am one of their customers and it is not the first time I have come, but the staff was uncooperative, different from what they were before. The last experience made me decide to change this branch and I may write them off permanently.

A good size restaurant within the food hall of West Quay. Great food full of flavour that packs a solid punch, both with the chicken and the veggie/vegan options. The staff had a look of another day of the grind but thankfully the food was more than good enough to come back, I just hope the staff cheer up for next time.

Order a food, they said 15 minutes but it was like 45 minutes we waited outside. Very disappointed. No proper response from the staff.

Came in after a run in the city for dinner. We were seated quickly, ordering food using a voucher was a breeze. Polite and friendly service. The place was clean and we had plenty of room. Couldn’t fault the service at all!

This should be a 5 star review really .... Sorry about knocking them on service as once we were in, it was great. The issue is that we arrived and were booked into the queue system, received a text that we were in the queue and, therefore, wandered for a bit. After about 25 mins, I was wondering whether we were getting closer so clicked the link from the text, and it said "Maybe next time! ... You were removed from the queue at xx:xx" When I went to ask them, they could see I was no longer on the list, they could see I had been but couldn't see why I was removed.. From there, though, service was great. They got us straight on a table and, apart from slightly long wait time for food, all was perfect.

What great staff! Greeted by a smile and served very quickly and elegantly. When one of the staff members came over to check if the food was alright, he noticed the garlic bread looked burnt and offered to get us some more! Without a complaint! Food was also delicious. 2 very happy customers.

5 meals, all the chicken was dry. The sharing boneless platter was not on the mobile menue so after loading everyone else's choices, we had to order at the counter.... what's the point of ordering at the table?????? I have certainly had better

Great food every time with an amazing menu, would love some new sides on the menu tho as I have had the current sides so many time but it's always great and the staff are always super friendly.

Being a lunchtime it was busy but a very friendly member of staff told us it would be approx a 15-20 mins wait for a table which we accepted & she took a name. Tables became available fairly quickly & it was well within the 15 mins when we were seated. The ordering system is super easy, you can either go up & place your order at the counter or use the QR code on the table, I chose the latter. The menu it brings up on your phone is easy to navigate & easy to order. We chose the bottomless drink option & glasses were brought to the table within a couple of mins of my order going through. Food arrived very quickly, all hot & fresh & tasting amazing. All in all I was really impressed, all members of staff I encountered were super friendly & had a smile, the actual restaurant was scrupulously clean, the condiments section was well stocked & was easy to find what sauces you want. When we couldn't finish the extra wings ordered I asked if we could have a takeaway box for the wings, that was brought immediately & with a paper bag to carry it in. The service & food here are fantastic & considering how busy it was...every table taken...it was maintained well & kept clean. Was definitely worth the initial wait to get a table.

Standard Nandos, although worrying lack of communication between staff when we visited in May. I was waiting for a friend, so I ordered on the app during this time and I tried to order the 'Great Imitator' but it was out of stock ... No worries, so I ordered the plant strips along with a mushroom and halloumi pitta. A few minutes later, a waiter arrived at my table to inform me that my 'great imitator pitta' was unavailable and they would make me a wrap instead with the mushroom etc, well - I didn't order that. It then took multiple attempts to explain to him that I did not need a replacement wrap and I just needed a refund for the plant strips that were out of stock. The waiter finally seemed to understand what I needed but then a replacement wrap still arrived and I sent it back ... I had to ask for the manager on duty so I could actually get a refund in cash from the till. Bit of a pain but I suppose it happens ..

Great experience even though I am a vegetarian

Visited today as a treat for my 11 year old daughter. We arrived at 12. We were seated by a very friendly member of staff who listened to where my daughter wanted to sit. Food arrived promptly, was nicely presented, hot and enjoyable. Chicken was cooked perfectly. My daughter did not like the cordial drink that came with the child menu. Although I offered to pay for a new drink, the waitress gave her a glass for the drinks machine foc. Great restaurant, great service.

95% of the people working here seemed like they didn't want to live let alone work. I had requested the food to be brought out together, a starter was brought out and I explained the food was to be brought out together. The waitress tutted and marched off. Once the food was ready it was brought to the table minus the starter that was brought and taken away. I then explained that the starter was missing when staff started comparing the order they had on their screen to my order on email, after a minute the starter was handed over. The tables were dirty, we had to ask for glasses to be replaced because they were dirty, the dinner plate was also dirty. The food was Luke warm & after the wonderful experience my family & I had already had here it was such a lovely feeling. When visiting the ladies there was tissues all over the floor, sanitary items too. Following this, I request to use the disabled toilet, the door was opened with a knife and this toilet wasn't much better. All in all, if this had been my first visit to Nandos I would not return.

Somehow we managed to order something that wasn't available and they came and changed the order very quickly, but drinks were late and there wasn't enough staff.

Bad customer service, food takes long time to make. But after all the food tastes good.

Friendly staff. Went with friend and her kids and they instantly asked if we need high chairs and bought it over along with colouring stuff. Food was really quick too!

Really wasn't impressed with my visit recently to this Nando's location. I've been around 3 to 4 times to Nando's UK in the past year, and visited this location for the first time. I found that it was very busy, nevertheless the menu was clearly displayed at the front door. We were greeted and seated, and our ordering options were clearly explained to us. We attempted to use the QR code at the table and for us, it didn't work. Ordering at the bar, we then awaited our food. The service was fairly slow, however when the food arrived it was beautifully presented however my 'The Great Imitator' burger, was stone cold. I'm not sure if potentially they cooked it along with other products which cook more quickly etc; nevertheless, it was cold. I ate my sides which actually were hot and tasty, and my partner enjoyed her meal. After we'd both finished (my burger I didn't eat), someone came to the table to check on us and I explained the burger was cold. They didn't seem very interested, but replaced it. It then arrived and was hot this time. Upon going to order desserts, the option we wanted 'Bottomless Frozen Yogurt' on the menu, we were told was unavailable. We therefore didn't order a dessert. Unfortunately the visit to this Nando's was a disappointing one, owing to the poor value for money in my opinion, small portion size and the friendliness of the staff was not impressive. Overall wouldn't return to this location, but I feel improving these few factors mentioned above would really make this a much better restaurant!

unorganised mess of a restaurant, poor service and bad food, i like nandos generally, i mean you cant really get it wrong can you? Grilled chicken with basic sides, but our order sat under a heat lamp for 20mins before it was collected and brought to our table, despite it not being busy, the staff stood around chatting whilst we sat there frustrated. If we hadn't already paid for it we would of left, the chicken was tough and rubbery, the chips and peas were ok. First dissapointed experience at nandos.

Website says open until 10pm, we arrived at 9 only to be turned away. Plenty of empty tables too so not that busy.

Service is very poor , you need to order by scanning a QR code which is not that bad but then when you need to do your check out the app is forcing you to open an account and asking your details which takes ages to get your order done , l dont need to open an account to order simple food.

Had the best customer service a few weeks ago at this Nando's from Martin. Due to distribution problems, they were completely out of wings, thighs and also rose wines, which are all my favourite options at Nando's! But Martin was really apologetic, we had a laugh about it, I picked other items (Not a big deal for me) and when I went to pay, he printed out the receipt and said 'There you go, it's all done for you. I'm so sorry about the inconvenience for you.' I looked the receipt and it said 'Random act of kindness' on it, meaning my whole meal was paid for. Thank you so much to Martin, who also was really attentive to us for the rest of our meal.
