Chefs Delight 2 in Medway

Just had a Roast Chicken and a Roast Lamb Dinner delivered. It was still piping hot and delicious. Great price and value, 1 meal had 3 slices of Lamb, 2 nd meal had 1/4 Chicken with both having:- 3 roast potatoes, carrots, peas, Yorkshire pud and gravy. Apple Pie and Custard for Desert.

Great value, big portions, quick service, definitely needed after a night out. I would highly recommend!!

Compared to some of the high street mainstreams, Chef Delight 2 is a welcome change, the staff are always polite and friendly, and smiling. Myself and my wife are regulars here, and the vegeburgers and Cheeseburgers are always of a very high standard, I don't recall ever sending any food back, or making any complaints regarding the food. The restaurant itself is clean and inviting with some beautiful pictures on the wall (mostly Turkey although the staff are Slovakian). Hot drinks are always 'just right' not so piping hot that they cannot be drunk straight away, cutlery is almost always clean, and sauces are readily available. This is one of those restaurants that doesn't 'hurry you out of the door'. The prices are not extortionate, and are good value for money. Will definitely continue to visit.

3 breakfast all with lattes ,under £17 , food quality is averaged but all cooked very nice and not piled with grease , the latte was really nice , all staff very nice too, and decent comfy chairs , will definetly go again , all other meals are pretty cheap too

But the rest is pretty average. the waitresses are nice .though sausages are not. Not expensive and you get a lot of it

This wasn't our main choice to eat but due to majority of places being busy we spotted a free table at the window as passing by so decided to pop in. We have eaten here before, always as a last minute decision and we're never left feeling 'pleased' or 'full satisfied' when leaving. The omelettes are probably the only good thing about this place. Pretty standard cafe choices with poor quality healthy options or portion control. Guess it works for the everyday obese chav family in the high street. 9/10 I'm missing a side order and they try to charge for it, then look shocked when I refuse to pay for something that never came (insert parrot mode from staff "it never came..") They do offer contactless card payment which is nice for a low quality location. There's a few poorly spelt posters on the walls for 'special deals'. The sauces look mouldy inside the bottles and when you ask to change it, they just give you your neighbouring tables mouldy looking one. I'm not a regular to Chatham high street, if I am to eat in the high street i can get the same meal with better quality ingredients and a better price. This place needs updating. Updating to better 'salad' in their meals and less carbs covering three quarters of your plate.

Good food, fast friendly service, all round great place to eat & reasonably priced will definitely visit again

I went in there today and ordered jacket and beans. While I was eating I noticed something jump on the potato. As I looked I see two small flys which had come off the lettuce. I called the lady and showed her. She asked what I wanted to do. I decided to just leave it and have nothing else as it had completely put me off. I went to the counter to pay and really thought they would just charge for the coffee and not the potato. To my horror they let me off 30p. I'm not the type of person to cause a scene so I just payed. At not one point did any staff say sorry about the flys. Customers in the cafe were shocked at their attitude. As I was walking out another customer sent their food back complaining that the food was not fresh. I won't be going again.

I come here often, it's great for when you are on a budget. The food is always served quickly and the staff are always friendly and smiley. Obviously it isn't fine dining, but it's totally affordable when you don't fancy fast food. There is a lot to choose from on the menu and the portion sizes are great. Lots of vegetarian options too. The fry ups are always top notch.

In the last month we have popped into the chef's delight 2 while out shopping in Chatham twice, the staff are always very helpful and polite, the food while basic is always plentiful and good quality, and excellent value for money and the whole place is spotlessly clean....well worth a visit while your out shopping....

Visited chefs delight 2 days ago and halfway through our meal I noticed my 2 years old sausage she had been eating was pink in the middle and stone cold ( not cooked in the middle ) spent all night up with her while she was vomiting and crying clutching her stomach! Apart from that meal me my partner and daughter ate the same thing so we no it came from her meal at chefs delight and not anything else she ate As an ex chef this is very alarming that there chefs are incapable of cooking a sausage and will never step foot in there again!!

Whilst visiting Chatham to see the fabulous "Here Comes Summer" matinee show at the lovely Central Theatre, my wife and I called at the Chef's Delight 2 restaurant for a pre theatre lunch on Friday 3 July. We have used this restaurant just once before, on Tuesday 28 April. We were so impressed on this occasion with the high level of service and meals that I was prompted to write the first ever review for this lovely restaurant (see review below "Just perfect - What a pleasant dining experience we had at the Chef's Delight Restaurant"). On this, our latest visit to the Chef's Delight, we were once again greeted by the same really lovely, efficient and very friendly waitress who served us at our last visit. As previously, after giving us time to study the menu, she took our order. As I said in my previous review, the menu is quite extensive, but my wife and I once again both decided to have the roast beef dinner which was only £5-75 each. As at our last visit, when our extremely charming waitress served the meal, once again we found the plate to be nicely set out with roast potatoes, vegetables, Yorkshire pudding and a generous serving of thickly sliced roast beef. The beef, once again, was so tender, tasty and absolutely delicious, it just melted in the mouth. This second visit confirms to me that the meals and service at the Chef's Delight Restaurant are of a consistently high standard. Consequently I sincerely recommend the Chef's Delight 2 Restaurant to anyone wanting friendly and efficient service, consistently high quality meals and value for money prices - I am convinced that you will enjoy a really pleasant dining experience in the Chef's Delight 2 Restaurant. Whilst spending a pleasant day in Chatham, my wife and I called in the "Chef's Delight Restaurant" for lunch on Tuesday 28 April. Initially we were amazed at how large the restaurant was, as from the outside it appeared to be fairly small. We also noted that the restaurant, apart from being reasonably spacious, was extremely clean and very tastefully decorated, making it the ideal setting to enjoy a pleasant dining experience. Upon arrival we were greeted by a really lovely, efficient and very friendly waitress who, after giving us time to study the menu, took our order. Although the menu was quite extensive, my wife and I both decided to have the roast beef dinner which was only £5-75 each. When our charming waitress served the meal, we found the plate was nicely set out with roast potatoes, vegetables, Yorkshire pudding and a generous serving of thickly sliced roast beef. The beef was so tender, tasty and absolutely delicious, it just melted in the mouth. We both enjoyed our meal tremendously, and can honestly say that it was probably the best roast we have had in a long time. It goes without saying that we will certainly be using this lovely restaurant again. We also wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone in the area who wants a lovely "home cooked" meal served by friendly and efficient staff in an ideal environment - you are certain to enjoy a very pleasant dining experience.
