You may think I t’s just a toastie but top ingredients and service make it an excellent quick lunch. The Stockbridge Stack is delicious with chicken, ham hock and home-made pesto. The best toastie place out there. Sort the steamy windows!

Absolutely no no. Ordered a soup and 2 toasties paid £14.00 and the gave me soup in a mini size coffe cup!!!!!!! Also service extremely slow and guys are no using gloves or washing hands when making veggie sandwiches after non vegetarian ones. This place needs urgent improvement.

We stopped off on our way to the botanical gardens and what a find! Unreal flavours for a cheese toastie- a worthwhile visit while in Edinburgh!

We stumbled upon this place on our way to the Botanical Gardens and were not disappointed. I never knew so much joy could be found in cheese toasties and the vast selection of the ways you can have them. Pulled ham, pastrami, chicken, roast beef and haggis to name a few (plus the vegetarian and vegan ones if you’re that way inclined). A trip to Edinburgh is a must with a trip to the gardens and this is a must for a pit stop on the walk there!

Been wanting to visit here since it opened and finally got round to it in February. The place was packed, which is a good sign. There's seating inside but not easy to get one so we opted to takeaway. There's a good selection of toasties available, and they are jam packed with fillings. Very reasonably priced and safe to say we'll be back.

Nice little cafe just opposite the cathedral on the royal mile. A tad pricey but a nice little find for a quick coffee and bite to eat whilst exploring.

I wanted to love this Indian street food spot, it had a cool vibe, smelled great, laid back and great soundtrack. But the food was tasteless. First, while they promote the Bombay sapphire gin, they simply won’t make their also advertised gin martini out of it, even for an up-charge. I rolled and took their version which was a citrusy lime affair, when everyone who matters knows gin martinis are meant to be served dirty and with olives. Maybe that’s the New York girl in me, but moving on, the Papadam had not an ounce of cumin, seed or powder, just puffed dough. Similarly, the Haka noodles were mush and honestly tasted like nothing except maybe vinegar. Maybe the mains are better, but I’d try your luck elsewhere. My 3 purchased items are all going back mostly untouched.
