Used to love coming here when it first opened and the chicken was immense sadly now waited over an hour for our order. They prioritise Uber eats orders over eat in customers. They said ours ‘was next out the kitchen’ for ages but every order that came out was for a delivery service. Gave up and left and won’t be going back for a while. The girls serving were sorry and offered us free drinks but all we wanted was our chicken!

Absolutely AMAZING food and customer service… made our time at YNot festival 10 times better, knowing we were gettin top class food multiple times daily at great value. Absolutely smashed it out of the park with each meal we got there, especially given it was only their 2nd festival… quickly became lovers of the place and regulars even in the few days we were at the festival. Special shout out to Amy, always had a smile and very sociable and easy to speak to Keep up the brilliant food guys, we’ll try make our way down to ur restaurant sometime to try the cocktails!!

I had a very tasty sriracha chicken burger, full of flavours, I was impressed . I enjoyed the old skool hip hop playing in the background. Great service too. I will be back!

came across the stand at Y NOT festival this weekend and could not fault the place. the food was absolutely amazing and could not have been better value for money. we quickly became regulars and visited a grand total of 10 times in 4 days… the staff were some of the nicest and friendliest people ive ever met. i have a huge amount of respect for them being able to work such long days through the various weather conditions whilst constantly smiling through the flawless work even through injuries! thank you so much for making our festival experience! i only have the highest hopes for the restaurant and hope to visit sometime😁

We had an enjoyable visit here and thought most aspects of the restaurant were great. We had a large table of 8 adults and 6 children so think a place is always put to the test with a booking that large. The staff and service was excellent. Our server was very patient and accommodating and helped answer questions about the menu and allowed us to make changes were requested. The food was delivered promptly and we had no qualms with the 10% service charge. The menu was extensive, although obviously mainly chicken, lots of options of sauces/dips/sides. We were pleasantly surprised when we found out that you get a kids meal free with every adult paying £10+ so all 6 children ate for free (including a Fruit Shoot). The majority of food was tasty, with good portion sizes. Some plates were a little cold but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt as all meals were brought out together - so fairly understandable that some of the food might not be piping hot. Thought the prices of food was fair, especially considering the free kids meals. The price of soft drinks were pretty high though, I think if the Pepsi were served in a larger glass then it'd be fine but £3.45 for a small isn't great. Overall though the place was great and I'd definitely return if in the area.

Friendly and efficient service, all food was very tasty though some portions were a little cold. Fun place with good variety on the menu and fair value - though the drinks were a bit on the pricey side. Appreciate that businesses in this industry make most of their money on drinks, and I don't begrudge them that, but £3.45 for a small Pepsi isn't great and doesn't compare with other restaurants in this price bracket/market. That wouldn't put me off returning though. Overall a pleasant visit.

Great value for money.. - for this reason I was expecting the food the be average at best, whereas I was very wrong, absolutely lovely food (especially the barbecue wings) even the chips were better than anything you'll get in the kebab shops round here.. 9.5/10 from me.

After some word of mouth recommendations I gave this place a try for my 1st anniversary with my partner . We were both treated to a ‘gratis’ glass of Prosecco after announcing why we were there. I used to go clubbing in this venue about 30 years ago and whilst I was nosing around the ‘select’ basement area I was greeted by our ‘host’ who was only to happy to show me around and tell me it’s future , a real ‘nostalgia trip’ . Back to the food , we happened in on a wings Wednesday where you can eat as many wings as you want in 90 mins for about £15 !. We went for other offerings though , sizes were decent and I ended up with a doggy bag which doesn’t happen often these days , chicken etc was cooked beautifully. Service was great and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or return anytime. Can’t wait to return for a ‘comedy night ‘ in the basement .All the best Chris and Kellie

Me and my friend had a great time here. The food was so good and it came so fast but tasted so fresh still. I got garlic butter tenders and she got barbecue wings, it was so delicious. Boyfriend got the one tender that I couldn’t stuff in when I got home and he loved it too. The fried halloumi was so perfect, not greasy at all. The guy at the bar was very friendly and we had a waitress with brown hair, I wish I had asked for her name because she was so nice and her service was great. They had an offer so we did bottomless drinks and we enjoyed all the cocktails, so nice. My friend had finished hers and mine only had a couple sips and was basically ice, I stopped a different waitress and asked if we could get another and she gave me a kinda judgy look and told me to finish the one I had first. I would totally understand if I was taking advantage, but my friends was done, and I had only a couple sips left. And because the cocktails are made fresh they took a moment to make understandably. The waitress that mostly served us later on asked unprompted if we would like another even though we had a few sips left still, because ‘they take a minute’ so I don’t think it’s the restaurant policy. I would still definitely come back here!!

Pretty gutted to be fair :( me and some friends booked bottomless cocktails the other night for our joint birthdays and the service was so stupidly slow we had 4 cocktails the entire time! food was small, given to us incorrectly and then other people had each others as the server didn't know who's was who's. birthday was ruined will not be returning :( Thanks for your reply, however I unfortunately think you have the wrong table in mins. My group was for 7 people, two of which didn't have the bottomless so it would have been for 5 drinks per time not 12-18 as you have stated. We sat majority of the night with empty glasses in front of us, whilst the table of at least 15 plus people were having multiple drinks whilst we sat there thirsty. I do appreciate your reply however I cant seem to shake the feeling that you're dismissing this complaint with your vast over exaggeration.

Shocking service, me and 8 friends booked a table for the bottomless cocktails yet the service was so slow we had 4 the entire evening... It was a celebration for all of our joint 21st birthdays and we thought we'd give cheeky clucker a try and what a mistake :( We had to shout over one another to hear anything, the portions were small and the drinks were ridiculously slow meaning we'd all booked and paid for bottomless and were waiting minimum of 35 mins between each drink. They then added a £30 service charge to the bottom of the bill...

Ordered delivery, buffalo tenders had no sauce at all very dry, burger small and average at very best, way over priced.

A little on the pricey side, however the food is good and the staff are friendly. Worth the visit :)

The food was amazing, we cannot express how flavourful the burgers and the fries were. Fresh food and a great dining area. Service was a bit slow but the staff that was in front of the house were on their own and they bossed it. Must visit and try, well worth the money. Will visit again to try the other flavours.

We went for a work night out, and it was amazing, the food was incredible and the staff we so friendly helpful and fast as well. We had such an amazing experience, we are definitely going back and I would highly recommend to visit! Best chicken and sauce I’ve ever had

My husband and I visited the cheeky clucker last night for the first time. We were seated immediately and our drinks order was taken promptly. For the vegans out there, the options for you guys were surprising! About 5 or 6 different faux chicken dishes! We both went for the BBQ bacon chicken bun with a side order of fries. The food was hot, very tasty and arrived in good time. The only reason I haven’t given four stars is because when we asked for dessert menus we were told they had run out of all desserts. A shame because date night should always end in dessert…. ;o)

We waited over an hour for food. We had to ask 2 times how long the food was going to be. Not once were we approached with an apology or if the food was okay. Once we received our food we were missing chips which we had to flag down a member of staff because we weren't approached. We weren't asked if we wanted any additional sauces or condiments. The food itself was average at best (reminded me of a hungry horse or wetherspoons burger.) Chicken tenders were small and lacked any flavor. We went for the garlic and parmesan but you wouldn't have been able to guess that. The people who we were out with ordered chipotle BBQ but complained they were dry. 15% was removed from the final bill because of the poor service and we were offered a free round of drinks as an apology however this was still a mandatory 12% service charge on all bills which was insulting for the experience we had and had to ask for it to be removed. Overall, we waited a very long time for some average food and extremely poor service.

Staff were fantastic, very friendly and approachable. Food was ok, very over priced, portions were ridiculously small not worth the money we paid at all. Music was way to loud for a Thursday evening while out for a family meal. Food took ages to come out, was not really that busy so not sure why. Burger was cold and soggy, way to much sauce, did not enjoy it at all. Will not be going back to soon.

We were all looking forward to this meal but to be honest, the experience was average. It took over an hour to get any food. Condiments and cutlery were not offered and service in general was poor. It’s also really expensive for what you get. Food was ok but £90 for 3 people? I could have bought the whole KFC menu for that and it would have been fine! Lots of other places that are much better on Rochester

Ordered from here for first time tonight on uber eats. Nice food but was a long wait for food to be ready and then there wete several missing items, bag was sealed with receipt stapled to it so a clear mistake by restaurant. Won't be ordering from here again.

Can’t comment on the food, we went here for a birthday party in the basement level. Brilliant private function. Great atmosphere. Brilliant service from the bar staff!

Wing Wednesday disappointing. Can only choose from half of the menu. Not the good half. Portions of 4 wings. Very small. Slow service. Took a whole hour to get 8 wings. (You only get 90 mins) Had NHS discount that I used on wing Wednesday two weeks prior but this time wasn’t allowed to use it with this promotion. Pretty sure the waitress was avoiding our table to avoid taking orders. Shame because it the first time was great. More reasonable portion sizes. I think they’ve realised people can pack away wings and are backtracking on the wing Wednesday because it’s unsustainable.

Wow wow wow!! Cannot fault the chicken or cocktails. Wing Wednesday is becoming a weekly occurrence in my eating habits. Long may it continue 🙌🏻

Hosted a Birthday party here and had the best time. Food is amazing, staff are lovely and the atmosphere is good. My go to place for hosting events or just for a nice meal. Ryan the bar manager is amazing, really interactive and done what he can to make sure everyone at the party was enjoying themselves and Scott always goes above and beyond. Now where better to go !!

Had a private event downstairs. Can’t fault the bar staff. Food was on point. Atmosphere was brilliant. Just an all round great night. Highly recommend 👍🏻

Went for a friends party at the weekend and the cocktails are some of the best I’ve ever had, the bar man was so helpful and good at his skill, defo recommend especially the downstairs area for functions such a vibe! Defo recommend to everyone

The food is AMAZING!! We got tenders, chips, and burgers. I’m so glad we found this place! And the customer service is 10/10. We ordered our food shortly after they closed (but the website didn’t tell us they closed). When we arrived to collect the food, the restaurant and kitchen were obviously closed. But we were greeted by a lovely guy who offered to open the kitchen for us and freshly cook our order. They didn’t have to and could have easily given us a refund! Wow. Where do I start? We ordered food yesterday (Friday 5th January), at around 9:39pm on the website. Unknown to us, they had closed at 9:30 and this was a website error. When we arrived to collect our order, we noticed the doors were shut. I rang the number provided and a lovely man answered the phone. I explained that I was here to collect an order and he said to give him one minute. After a minute or two he came out to explain that they closed at 9:30 and it must have been a website error but that the chefs had turned everything back on, just to prepare the food we ordered. He also invited us inside to wait in the warmth. This was above and beyond our expectation and any customer service we’ve ever received. We are so grateful and still surprised that they went to this effort. (I wish I got the guys name!!) Now onto the food, I cannot express how GOOD this food was. Sitting here writing this, remembering the taste, i’m containing myself from ordering more for tonight. We got the Honey garlic and soy glazed chicken tenders, Maple bacon burger, the Korean tenders and the chips. All the flavours were 10/10. I’d rate them higher any chicken place i’ve been, including Wingstop (big coming from me). Can’t wait to visit again.

Was out in town with some friends and decided to visit cheeky cluckers at the end of the night, so glad we did, the food & service was amazing Wish we’d got the waitresses name, she was super attentive and helpful Will definitely be visiting again….highly recommend trying the Korean slaw fries as well!!!!

Fab selection of food and cocktails. Im Veggie and the maple bacon burger is lush, all very well presented and super delicious Lovely little venue with events like comedy nights, in the downstairs cocktail bar which is amazing a real gem of Rochester.

Food was a little greasy. I had ordered a whiskey on ice which definitely seemed less than a single shot. The server had forgotten that we had ordered a side of halloumi. Overall it was ok, but seemed over priced for what it was. Don't think I'll be rushing back anytime soon. Sorry.

Pretty quiet when we arrived. Our order got lost due to an error with the printer? After an hour they said it'd be five mins, but was another 20. Chicken was average, truffle mac was amazing and worth going back for that alone. Staff were really friendly and took the drinks off the bill because of the wait. It's ok but not somewhere to rush back to.

So impressed with the Cheeky Clucker, not only with the quality of food, but also with the extremely happy, welcoming and professional staff really made us all feel comfortable This was a completely unique experience and amazing atmosphere. Eaten breakfast and dinner here in the past and enjoyed food. This time the food was ok/average, Buffalo burger, chicken tenders and x2 fries +2 soft drinks. I feel the service charge is abit steep at 12.5% of total cost of the bill, which made my service charge £4.74. Also the bill does't actually state if the service charge is optional. (I did pay it)

This place would be alright for half the price. Unfortunately it rapidly becomes expensive for what you get. Overpriced, overcooked and the ketchup is weird.

This is a lively diner where it’s expected to be noisy. The food is lovely, and during peak times, can take a while to both be served and food to come out. This is to be expected and doesn’t degrade from the experience. Order some cocktails and drinks and sit back. Don’t come in expecting a quick snack. Overall, a lovely place to each but can feel a tad understaffed during the busiest periods. Just be patient and expect a nice food experience as a result.

Food here is amazing, but we waited over an hour for some chicken and chips?! How is this even possible when places of the same standard can deliver in less than 10? I understand it is nicer than other fast food chains but over an hour's wait for some chicken is taking the ... A little... Oh & it is very very noisy too!

Went to Cheeky cluckers for a friends birthday in the basement, we waited over an hour for food, service was good atmosphere was ok, I wasn’t overly impressed with the food I felt some of it was over cooked which didn’t make the wait worth while.

We booked a table for 7.30pm on a Saturday evening, 2 cocktails for £15 was good value however they had to be two of the same cocktail which was a shame. Food was very slow, a hour wait for our main to come out then we noticed the chips were cold so these were sent back which meant more waiting. The floor upstairs was very sticky and the toilets were messy. Would go again but maybe on a weekday evening.

Definitely recommend and macaroni crochets are a must have!! Very delicious chicken, good flavors and a nice menu. Nice staff and attentive. Strange layout, bar at front, in basement and seating at back with pitch black walls. Unique and different. Clean. On the pricey side but with the balance of how tasty the food is it can justify it at times. When we arrived we waited a while before being greeted, staff were busy and nobody was in the entrance area they were however apologetic when they noticed us waiting. Lady who served us was lovely, but unfortunately our food took a while and when the food arrived the Mac and cheese was lukewarm, she did however take it back to the kitchen and they reheated it in the microwave. We was also a little disappointed with the tenders the flavour on the garlic and parmesan wasn't really existant and they were a little tough. I am gutted, previous experiences have been great and I have always really enjoyed the food, hopefully this was a one off. But I won't be returning to dine in as I felt it was overpriced for the food I received.

Absolutely amazing wings place, lots of variety of flavours on the menu. Had the reaper wings which had the right balance of spicyness for those that like things hot. Bought 4 flavours in large sizes; ghost reaper, chipotle bbq, buffalo and honey sriracha. All these were great so can’t go wrong. Drinks are also served with ice and lemon wedge which was appreciated. Definitely recommend and is halal.

Every single dish just pops off the plate. This is Chicken at its dirtiest, tastiest & most fabulous best! We ordered a little too much so it turned into “Man Vs Chicken” - the chicken won, but no bother, this food is just perfect for a midnight snack with Netflix.

Easily the place to be in Rochester for grub. The chicken is on another level but do not sleep on the new beef burgers… find me a better burger anywhere… I’ll wait. 10/10 get that into you as soon as you can.

It's ok... used to be a lot better. Food slightly warm. Frickles very wet (they used to be crunchy!) No milkshakes any more. £3 for a small glass of Pepsi (WTF). Frozen bun. Breakfast not good.

Takeaway a Little bit disappointing, I had the Korean Fries which were cold but I guess that happens sometimes with deliveries, the flavours were great. Had a buffalo bun and just felt the sauce lacked flavour/spice. Normally I’m a big fan of buffalo sauce but this left me a bit meh and it was maybe a little thin, the quality of the chicken was fine, not the best I’ve had but still ok. I will have to dine in next time to give it a better chance to impress.

Me and my partner try and go to Cheeky Clucker once a month as it is by far our favourite place to eat. BBQ chicken tenders are SUBLIME, highly recommend!

Still thinking about those chicken tenders and truffle Mac n cheese now. Me and my partner came yesterday. First, it is a lovely place, quite noisy because its in a basement and the noise echos (and quite dark) Secondly, the food. The reasoning behind the rating.... i ordered a burger and chips (burger was 12 quid and came with no side) and my partner ordered the chicken tender (again no sides included for £10) Onto the story: My food came out, (skin on chips were warm not hot) side note- no sauces on the table so you guessed it.. dry chips....the burger was almost identical in size and quality of the type of burger you find in "Dallas" or "morleys" so i wasn't impressed. Even the chicken fillet inside was crunchy? Like a bit of bbq chicken that had been left to dry for a week. (Not saying this was the case, but certainly tasted like it) Of course, there had been some sort of mess up on their system so my partners food never got put through to the kitchen. I ate my dinner and my partner sat watching (how lovely for a saturday meal out on the town!) They gave us a free drink (yay! The pink lemonade was lovely) once i had finished her chicken had arrived and she was blown away..just kidding. I of course was intrigued to find out what this long awaited chicken tasted like, ready for it to forefill my wildest of dreams.. Soy sauce.. thats about it.. it was supposed to have honey.. spring onion.. just tasted bland after the hit of soy sauce was gone.. such a shame... walking through the door i had high expectations, the staff were friendly but the food does the talking in the restaurant and unfortunately it didn't. (Possibly due to it sitting waiting for it to be served) Then your hit with the service charge added to the bill.. of course it was too late, my partner caught my attention and my contactless card hit the reader almost crumbling into pieces in shock as i read the dreaded words "service charge added" Great.

No service sat there for 20 minutes no drink and no staff, all I got was children shouting and parents being at McDonald’s. If you want a nice evening don’t go to this restaurant shocking!!!

Will not find a better tasting wing around. Food is cooked fresh, not sitting under a hot lamp so yes, you may have to wait for greatness but let me tell you, it is worth it. Enjoy the place, kick back and have fun with whoever you are with.

I had heard good things about this restaurant from others. I placed an order from Uber eats and it came quickly. I ordered 2 maple chicken burgers. Both were greasy and had soggy buns. And both had raw chicken in the middle thighs can be pink yes but this was completely raw. The centre had a completely different texture to the outer cooked meat and was cold in the middle.

Service bad, drinks out of stock, no apology from staff for problems with food, had to ask for everything, wasn’t approached at all, customers blatantly vaping inside, can’t see menu as so dark, small uncomfortable seats, drinks warm and topped with ice … list goes on … really disappointed… chips nice, music good that’s about it

The food was nice but the service let the experience down - very slow, I had to chase for the dessert menu, to order dessert and then to get the bill. While I appreciate that the staff were busy it was early Sunday evening and there were only a few tables so a little disappointing.

Definitely the only place to hang out & have some chicken & cocktails! The ‘Strip Club’ has an awesome vibe and plenty of drink options, everything I’ve tried has been amazing.

Friendly staff banging food. The cocktails were excellent. Really interesting building like drinking in a dungeon. Loved it.

Without doubt the best chicken burger around. Bun was soft, chicken was moist plenty of bacon and cheese. Chips were standard We had 2 people with tenders which were nice but not brilliant. Burger in pictures is the bbq bacon chicken burger.

I had been recommended cheeky clucker by numerous people and it didn't disappoint! The service was fantastic Scott and his team could not do enough to help find the right meals for the children and myself . I had the buffalo burger which was recommended by Scott and my god it was unbelievable! I highly recommended cheeky clucker for everyone

Had the most amazing breakfast in here. The only place in Medway that does an American breakfast and they've done it right. Everything was so tasty and the portions were perfectly adequate. I had the chicken and egg bun and the eggy tots which were both lush and my friend had the birthday cake Pancakes which were very nice but very filling I also had a side of tenders 'cos I'm a greedy fat f*** :) staff are are always friendly and helpful too.

Ell the waitress was the one solid thing about the restaurant how we could have a laugh with her, wings were lovely but rest of the waitress staff plus some food didn’t turn up and some staff told us food didn’t have stuff it did so caused so much issue! Shame really cause the potential is huge.

It’s definitely a cheeky clucker as they add a 12.5% service fee on to your bill and ketchup or mayo is £1 a pot. I can’t fault the food or restaurant in general apart from the above. Halloumi fries are amazing. It does get quite loud when busy. However I wouldn’t visit regularly when it’s going to cost me an extra £10+ for someone to take my order and have some ketchup.
