Chips weren’t cooked and were soggy, didn’t eat them just threw them straight out

If I could give this place minus stars I would. I have never felt any pain as bad in my stomach, than what this chicken gave me- I can only describe it as a deep stabbing pain. I went here with my boyfriend in hopes to have nice food, and I was given the polar opposite. I’m absolutely disgusted with the food I was served with. Chips were fine, but the chicken was shocking. My chicken was bright pink, chewy and cold…definitely not what a piece of chicken should be. I hope that this shop either reconsiders serving chicken or improves in their cooking skills. Will never be coming back here again. Will be telling this to people as well.

one piece of my chicken had no skin on it..basically plain chicken. generally this place is excellent tbf.

Not sure if this has new owners but the food has changed not as nice as it used to be. Chicken burgers have very flat bit of chicken in the buns and dry / they used be big and juicy also chips under cooked. Order even wrong give me a fillet of fire that blew my socks off when I ordered a normal one

Food was freezing cold, driver told me he picked up a separate order from subway 3 miles in the oposite directions from the restaurant I ordered from! Not good

Excellent service and fresh food. Ive been buying from here for a long time regulary and only ever had one wrong order. After which the manager more than compensated me afterwards. Thank you mate appreciate it a lot! I highly recommend this place best chicken in town fullstop

Tried after long time fries had sour taste not sure there cooking oil was old or what was the problem and the chicken had bad smell coming from it seemed like i got old left over chicken, before it used to be good but now quality has declined

We always order from here and it’s always been fantastic. It’s better than KFC sadly tonight wasn’t as good but we love it so much we will still be back. One bad time out of about 50.

my first order with these guys and absolutely banging food, quality all round, good portion of chips chicken perfectly cooked. temperature great, delivery times great. love the salt sachets added in the big and napkins. Decent prices. I will be returning for sure and recommending . very happy customer 😊

Best chicken I've had for a long time.

Asked for cheese on all three burgers, didn't get any. Asked for gravy, didn't get it. Annoys me so much when you've paid for something and didn't receive it. Yes, we all make mistakes, but please check orders before they leave. Never again... Customer lost... The delivery driver was lovely by the way.

Everytime I order from here it’s amazing!! Been ordering for over a year now. I had a 3 piece meal and the chicken was cooked perfectly. Chips are always lovely here too. I’ve never had a bad meal from here. Delivery is always on time and my food is piping hot. Best chicken and chip shop in Medway by far

Food is ok but biggest issue is they advertise they close at 11pm however on multiple occasions they close around 10pm Drove 3 miles (each way) on different occasions expecting them to be open but all lights were off and doors locked

Driver was lost for 35 mins texting and calling me I went looking for him walking up and down the road then I drove to shop to complain and he still was driving about lost the shop said I couldn’t get my order and had to complain to just eat as it’s not there driver this is not the first time Iv had problems with just eat tried to call just eat get no where I want a full refund this is a joke

although there was confusion finding our house the driver was very helpful

I'm obsessed with Favorite Chicken, I've been to at least 10 different branches over the years. Was on first name terms with a lot of the people running them. I recently moved to Rainham, Kent and so this is my new local. The chips are not the same chips they serve at any other favorite chicken, they're very soggy, not crispy as they should be. The chicken has been very hit or miss, mainly miss. The second from last time I went there, the chicken literally smelt like bins down a back alley. You know the smell, like when you walk through a market once it's all closed and you can smell the rotten fruit. It put me off for a few months. Yesterday, I thought I'd left it long enough to give it another try. The chicken was very wet, it wasn't oil, it was like it had been washed under a tap after it was cooked. This wasn't a delivery either. My cats even refused to eat the chicken. After the night me and my partner had, I will never go back to this place. The people running it are not friendly either.

The chicken burger was dry and hard as it has been kept in a hot oven, and which I find hard to believe as 99.9% of my are spot on.

Food was good but took over an hour to be delivered. Luckily the food was still warm. We did get a revised time very late on. I would say I think the food is very overpriced.

ordered here twice and it was great but tonight we got a box of 20 of the rawest chicken wings you could get and when we went back for a refund they got very annoyed with us and said we were lying even though we bought the very raw chicken back, weve informed everyone we know so hopefully this helps, theyve just lost a lot of customers. Also they claim the spice makes it pink but no spice makes bloody and raw chicken like this. Edit: food and safety have been contacted

We ordered at 17.02 and it was delivered 18.47. This is not the first time this has happened. We use to love this place for quality, quantity and delivery of food. It’s gone massively downhill. The ribs and sampler box was a joke two small ribs and one chicken leg with chips is not worth the £9.50 by a long shot. Whilst I understand costs have gone up I can’t believe how expensive this is for the quality and quantity we received. This was our favourite place to go but alas no more

Best place by far. Used to use the one down station road. Not anymore. Food is always hot, and better ingredients used. Honestly can't fault the place. Always packaged well. And delivery drivers are lovely and friendly. A********

Usually the quality of food is really good, but my chicken tonight was horrible, the coating was non-existent and the chicken was swimming in grease. Kind of looked like they were scraping the barrel by delivering me this. Was inedible. Very disappointed, standards have dropped.

Food would have been great it if arrived on time and hot. On the tracker the driver was parked up 3 mins from my house for half hour meaning the food was cold

Had chicken from here numerous times before and has always been very good with the best chips in towns. But apart from the chips, the chicken today was poor over cooked dry and thinly coated with seasoning.

Good vintage, nice moist chicken and we got the pieces we asked for which doesn’t always happen. But when you have forked out £36 for chicken & ribs you want to get what you asked for. We usually pick it up because the price is double on just eat!!! Food was very good but not worth the just eat menu pricing! But my review of food is very good, but next time we will pick it up.

Chips are good but a lot were fused together at the bottom of the bag, the chicken was majorly over cooked and so chewy we couldn’t eat it.

Disgusting greasy undercooked wings, someone needs to be checking the quality there!!! Ended up all in the bin, I can see the difference between undercooked smelly chicken (not fresh meat)and the spices. The whole box stunk and I was afraid to eat this. So please don't give me a silly explanation like i was a dum. I had chicken from this place before and it was fine, but the one yesterday was not acceptable, you can't do this to people .

I’ve never ever had a bad meal from here! The chicken is always perfect, the chips are lovely and my food is always hot when it’s been delivered! Anyone who likes fried chicken this is the best place to come! Portion sizes are good too

Food finally arrived after 2 hours when the restaurant is only 15mins away, tried calling them 3 times with no answer, when it finally arrived gravy had spilled all over everything in the bag and the food was stone cold. Awful experience with this restaurant would not recommend to anyone.

Been here a few times now, the food is always cooked freshly, tastes great and the staff are so friendly, parking is unfortunately at the public car park a short walk away, but it’s worth it. Love getting lunch here though , it’s Locally owned and the owner is such a nice guy!

Last delivery I had from the establishment I was not happy with at all, however, after speaking with the manager my complaint was resolved to my satisfaction, and I’m pleased to say the food was back to its usual high quality.

Spent £24.99 on a chicken meal which should have come with chips and coleslaw, and a wrap meal which should have come with chips, however, no chips and no coleslaw, plus the chicken was on the cold side by the time it was delivered. Tried calling the establishment a number of times but the phone was repeatedly unanswered. Favourite chicken in Rainham will no longer have my custom. In fact the meal or lack of it was so poor I think a refund is in order.

Usually love the food from this place. Ordered just a two piece chicken meal, two pieces of chicken, portion of fries, and a can of drink. One piece of chicken was fine, the second was a tiny leg that looked like it had been sitting in the restaurant all day. It had vertically no meat on it, you could see bone down most of it once you got through the dark, hard coating. Chips were barely warm, even though we live 5 minutes drive from the restaurant. And no can of drink. Not good. Not brain surgery to provide chicken, chips and drink. But they managed to forget one part of the order and delivered average food. I reckon they were having an off day as it’s usually superb. So I will try them again in the future. But tonight I was looking forward to this, and they came in well below the bar. Disappointed.
