Chatterbox is a big favourite of ours. The food is lovely the service is friendly and welcoming . The cakes will make you gain weight just by admiring them at the counter ! Coffee is always good, and as I usually have pancake stack with bacon and maple syrup I can tell you they’re wonderful . Massively recommended!!

My wife and I had breakfast here. Decent eggs Benedict and the wife had a smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel - she was very happy with it. Staff all very friendly and cheerful. Good atmosphere. My first visit but won't be my last.

Surprisingly great. Seriously. Took a detour before coming back over the bridge, you'd think it standard stuff in a standard cafe, but it's much more than this. Good size and quality meals, great service

We travelled 30 mins based on images of delicious vanilla slices, brownies, on social media. We arrived around 2pm to find only 2 sweet choices on display. The vanilla slices were no longer available due to supplier price increases it appears. It was hugely disappointing to find that something described as ‘Welsh cafe of the year’ was no better or not even approaching as good as cafes available locally. The coffee was good, but the lack of choice is not acceptable really, even if the cafe had been busy in the morning. The staff did apologise but not very emphatically. To make matters worse a lorry delivering to an off licence blocked our car in and we had to wait 15 minutes for them to finish unloading. As a disabled customer there were very few places to park and the staff tried to claim very big car would be able to get out when the space I needed to reverse into was only slightly larger than the width of my car. First and last visit sadly - the brownie was tasty - but quite overcooked and not memorable.

Recently moved to Chepstow and found this little gem of a place, visiting a few coffee shops around the area we came across chatterbox and what a fantastic find it was, coffee is one of the best , food is absolutely delicious and with the most mouth watering cakes you will find it’s a 10/10 for me, it’s super Clean and definitely the cleanest toilets for a coffee shop too! We can’t wait to visit again soon!!

Loved the decor of the coffee shop. Menu was varied and impressed with the choices. Food was beautifully presented and tasty. Staff were lovely and friendly. Barista art fab! One flaw...the ventilation in the cafe. I understand on a cold day, the door and windows cannot be left open. However the ventilation is poor and needs to be improved due to the kitchen being open to the rest of the restaurant. Left the cafe with my hair and clothes smelling strongly of food, which is not pleasant. The air hazy in the cafe from the food being cooked which should be addressed to make the experience of visiting the cafe more enjoyable.

Popped in for a takeaway hot chocolate and cake. You always have a warm, friendly welcome and the cafe looked ready for Christmas, so cosy and festive. The staff are great nothing is too much trouble, definitely worth visiting and supporting your local businesses. I would recommend Chatterbox, it’s brilliant!

Nice cafe, lots of attentive and pleasant staff, Menu limited bread, bread or bread. Surprised to be told that we couldn't have the Tuna Melt we wanted not because they had no tuna, but they were soon closing ( still nearly 2 and half hours before their advertised time) they weren't prepared to open another tin. We choose this cafe due to the reviews and great photos online and walked the 20 minutes out of town having visited the castle so that answer really was somewhat a shame.

What an absolute gem. We stopped en route to an activity for brunch. The menu has just enough choices, presentation is beautiful and the care that is taken is clear. Staff are jolly and efficient. The lip-licking cake display was torture and it may be just as well we don’t live nearer!!

Visited again for coffee. This is my favourite coffee shop in Seychelles and when here, usually go with friends about once a week. Staff are always helpful, friendly and efficient and it is always a pleasure being here. The coffee is, to my mind, the best I have experienced in Seychelles. Highly recommended.

We stopped here for a late lunch today and had a great experience. The cafe is very cute and the food was really lovely and a great portion size. The ladies working were all very smiley, attentive and friendly. Will definitely go back if we visit Chepstow again.

Called in while waiting for my car to go through an MOT. I've walked past many times and never thought to visit. But what a gem! I don't know if it was a regular thing, but the place was buzzing! Busy with out being manic. I had a panini, which was excellent, but be aware everything is prepared fresh so your food won't come as fast as Micky D's... but it will taste much better! Will definitely visit again

Desserts are a delight ranging from Terry's orange brownies to custard filled shoe pastrys. This is a delightful little cafe situated in bulwark in Chepstow the menu is superb and economical the staff are very friendly and professional I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to anyone visiting Chepstow anytime.

I was very pleasantly surprised how nice this coffee shop is. It is within a very dreary shopping area in Bulwark and I wasn't expecting too much. The service was a bit slow but that was because they were very busy. When the food did arrive it was delicious and great value for money. I would highly recommend a visit if you are in the area

I enjoyed a coffee and panini with a friend, those were very nice. What I didn't appreciate was at 2:45pm they turned the music up so loud we could not hear each other speak, they obviously wanted us to leave, it was almost closing time and we were the only ones left. Uncertain as to whether I would go again as I found this rather rude!

We went to Chatterbox today for the first time. The staff were lovely especially a young lady called Taylor. We ordered food for ourselves and our 2 year old which they brought out already cut up for us so it was cooling and ready for her to eat straight away. *winner winner with a grumpy hungry 2 year old* She was really lovely to our girl as well which definitely made the experience for us there all the more better. The food! Was AMAZING! We had the stacked pancakes and the eggs benedict (with bacon!) all cooked to perfection and tasted amazing, the perfect breakfast for a Saturday. Great value for money and the coffee was great! You can’t go wrong with a great cup of coffee.
