Just had the best Pav Bhaji, Vada Pav and Lamb birani ordered for delivery from Saska Maska. I’ve forgotten how delicious and how very authentic their food is!! Very lucky to have this restaurant as my local! The service is excellent, food quality exceptional and very value for money!! Well done chef and team at Chaska Maska, Brockley! Already planning on treating my daughter to a lovely flavoursome meal before she goes off to Uni. Thank you 🙏

Wonderful authentic Indian food and at a very reasonable price. Visited with another family and we all loved it. We are vegetarians and found a plenty of options for us to pick from. Great ambience and friendly staff.

Delicious Indian cuisine in an otherwise quiet location. Have tried a variety of dishes on their menu and have never been disappointed. When you visit, you must order all, or if not, a combination of the following: tandoori chicken curry, lamb biriyani, lamb curry, chicken biriyani, samosa, onion bhaji. Delicious aromatic spice combinations used in the gravies to create the curries, tender meat which has been cooked traditionally in a tandoor oven.

Are here earlier and waiters dropped the raita onto my trousers! Very apologetic but still charged for service !!!??? Honestly now feel like I ought to have been less forgiving.

Wow, i've been visiting London a lot lately and Chaska Maska reminds me of a Rusholme curry house. Reasonable prices, simple decor and most importantly fantastic food - Don't miss the Vada Pav or the black dal! Will definately be returning when i'm next in London

I would definitely recommend the food here because it was super tasty. The food here reminded me of India and Chef Rakesh treated us very homely. Coming from Himachal, he treated us with the best of Himachali hospitality. They have momos just like the Himalayas and definitely the best you’d ever find in London. Their pav bhaji is to die for. They also have some great Samosa chat, reminding you of Delhi streets. If you want to try some great food, this is worth it! Definitely worth a ride even from London!! I would also recommend trying their naans which are simply amazing. The ambience and the soft Bollywood music were a great add on for a romantic evening slightly away from the bustle of London.

Just happened to be driving by place and the name caught my attention so we decided to give this place a try. I have to say the food phenomenal and you’ll probably end up over eating not because it’s just really good food but also because they’re priced realllllly low, such good food for really low prices. We tried the Momo, dahi poori, samosas, biryani, Rajma and Veg Kofta each of them exceptionally good. I will definitely keep ringing the bell and visit them often

I had the best Vada Pau today from this place. The taste was perfect, with just the right amount of spices, sweetness and tang. I was amazed at how toasty and fluffy the bun was. The spiced potato filling was delicious. It's a lovely generous portion too! It's now one of my favourite Indian Street food dish! Thanks Chaska Masks team!

So disappointed with my delivery. Had a poppadom, paneer with 2 tiny square in it, very very runny. Contained more ginger than anything and then a garlic naan which was a couple of mouthfuls at most. So disappointed and had been really looking forward to it.

Gutted I've not discovered this place sooner! Food was miles better than I expected for the price. Highlight for me was the gosht saag on the chef's special. A definite must try - you won't be disappointed. Service was great too.

Wonderful food at a reasonable price. Truly the best Indian food in SE4. The menu is small but diverse enough for all tastes, and there’s a lovely laidback atmosphere too. Highly recommended.

I ordered a take away for Christmas Eve for nine people, including vegans and vegetarians. I was incredibly impressed with the service that I recieved when ordering and what arrived was absolutely perfect and delicious - piping hot and on time. The menu is so much more interesting than most standard Indian restaurants. It was also very reasonably priced - and we had enough left overs to feed hungry students several lunches. There were also lovely 'extras' including a hand written Christmas card. We felt so cherished. Thank you so much!

First time we've been here and so glad we went. The food is just incredible. Dont go for the usual Indian food but try some of the amazing small plates and different breads too. We had two small plates, three mains and two breads and we had some of the best Indian food ever..and yes we have been to India... Dahi pura and veg momo to start, Then Meen curry(fish) and such good tandoori prawns, The portions arent huge but the spicing is out of this world. Great different breads too, thepia and saag roti. Would recommend you order dishes to share so you can both experience everything. House wine is a reasonable £4.20 a glass and pint of Cobra only £4. Cant recommend this place enough and we cant wait to come back

Believe it or not but in my 60+ years on Earth, I’d never before ordered hot food for home delivery. So, when it was suggested we try this new place, on the strength of the leaflet pushed through the letterbox, I was a bit apprehensive. The food looked nice on the website and in the leaflet, as you would expect, so we decided to order some samosas, main meals, bread and rice and take advantage of the free delivery offer. It wasn’t clear on the website how many samosas you would get, as it simply said “1”. Also, the website still needs a bit of work as a couple of pictures are missing and items named on the flyer have different names on the website. Additionally, the website doesn’t fully understand the concept of home delivery. I selected the delivery option and on the final page it told me that my choice was “Delivery”. However, it then asked what time I would like to pick it up. I just ignored that but it clearly confused the restaurant, too, as they rang to find out what time I was picking up. Anyway, enough of that. The food arrived within 10 minutes of the agreed time, which was fine. Food was packaged in smart clear plastic, lidded dishes and was still too hot to touch with fingers. There were three samosas each, and each pack came with its own dip. They were very good. There was even a freebie in the bag consisting of some brightly coloured, cylindrical popadums. They were nice. I ordered the lamb curry and my wife ordered the Meen fish curry. We also had some chapati and pilau rice. Both meals, from start to finish, were first class. My lamb was plentiful and of a very high quality with more than enough curry sauce. Likewise, the fish curry was also excellent. We were so impressed at what we got for the grand total of £23 that we’ve decided to use this service again. Highly recommended.

We ordered takeaway from chaska maska for an early Saturday evening supper. Having ordered around 6ish, the food arrived promptly 20 minutes later. What a delight! We started by snacking on the delicious, complimentary ‘far far’, a varied and fun take on popadom with many colours and flavours. Of the main dishes, the tandoori chicken was the absolute star - a richly spiced dark red sauce encasing succulent and perfectly cooked chicken. It hit the spot exactly. We ate this alongside the saag gosht, also beautifully cooked, a great dish to sit alongside the chicken, cooler, but still very flavoursome, rich and creamy. We ate these with a garlic naan, perfectly moist and garlicky, and a saag flavoured rosti. Thanks chaska maska, you’ve taken saka maka and raised it up a level (and it was good already)! We will definitely be recommending you.

Staff was pleasant, we ordered lamb biryani and chicken chilli and requested to make it a little spicy, it lacked the authentic taste as well as for the spice, the chef had literally chopped 3–4 green chillies in it, which really upset our tummies an hour after we left the place. There was no salt in the biryani, and the lamb pieces were stale, and chewy. I really hope that it helps someone while making the decision to go in there.
