Chasing Dragon in Haringey

Asked for my CHOW mein to be spicy & it wasn't, mediocre food, I won't use them again!!!

When looking for chinese takeaway in close proximity to The Roundway, Chasing Dragon is my go-to. Meal box menu has excellent variety and the ability to customise is top-notch. Always satisfying in its quality, taste and portion sizes Chasing Dragon is also the fastest delivery in the area, their drivers are excellent and the food is always piping hot.

Didn’t get the food, bad customer service just ignore you and keep taking more and more orders

To what I thought was my favourite Chinese takeaway, because my worst nightmare. Had the same thing I always have a beef and rice box meal, end up having food poisoning, very severe, temperature, dizziness, no work or uni (no soar throat or any cough)! I did not know what was going on, my family told me it must be this place since I didn’t eat anything else all day, I did not believe them. So I ordered a couple day ago again, and same thing happened, very severe food poisoning, stomach is shutting down, seriously watch out when eating here. I can’t go to university all week, the state I’m in now is lasting a week. Please check and clean your kitchen, because there is something you are overseeing, you constantly loosen me with your food.

Thai red curry came with sliced fresh cucumber in it. And over all it tasted like ketchup. I’m gobsmacked

Brilliant Chinese takeaway, best in that area. Offer halal chicken to customers that have this requirement. Prices also very reasonable. We ordered chicken chow mein which was fresh, hot and crisp. Egg fried rice was lovely too. Also recommend the prawn har kau starter with some Soy sauce and chilli oil. Lastly - make sure you get the crispy salt and pepper chicken 🔥. Guys delivered to NM hospital and waited around for me as phone reception was poor and I was delayed in pick up - still very polite and understanding delivery driver. Delivery times exceptional too (worth the small fee/minimum delivery), had food within 30 mins of order. Will use when I'm in the area again. Free prawn crackers too!

halal chicken offered! try the prawn har kau, salt and chilli chicken, egg fried rice and chicken chow mein. get some chilli oil too 🔥. friendly customer service over phone and delivery driver in person - kindly waited for me as I was delayed/phone reception poor. food arrived super quick and hot, within 30 mins of placing order. Will definitely use again.

Very fishey over cooked from frozen

Service good, ordered for delivery, set meal for one, ok price. Chicken & sweet corn soup was lovely. However sweet & sour chicken & egg fried rice was not nice. Chicken too dry even with a generous serving of sauce & hardly any egg in the fried rice. Rice cooked in old oil... disappointed : (

I spend around £60 every Friday at this takeaway. They changed ownership a little while ago. Cheap rice which hardens when fried and fatty spare ribs. Need to improve the quality to the previous owners. I will go back to West Green Road till this improves...

chow mein and spring rolls were good. crispy chicken tasted good but the orange sauce was inedible - more like orange juice

My local Chinese has been closed for a few weeks I’m guessing they went away for CNY and craving some Chinese…well this has put me off Chinese for a while talk about super dry old rice being using in their fried rice dishes had to drink a litre water to get it down yikes!

Oh dear, what happened this time our food is usually lovely, however this time quite poor. The pancake rolls were saturated in oil and not eatable, the spare ribs were just bones. This is not normal for you. We pay a lot for our food the least we can ask for is for it to be edible.

This is not Thai food. The green and red curry has a weird see through gelly like texture with awful taste. The king prawns also have a weird coating of some sort of batter in the curry. The worst Thai food I have ever eaten. Couldn’t eat it

The worst Chinese take away we’ve ever experienced. Food arrived via Uber Eats, totally unable. Stale, Old, dry and stone cold. If you fancy a Chinese take away. Stay well clear of this restaurant. Total rip off and we had to put all food in rubbish to avoid being ill You people as with your joint delivery company UBER EATS are a complete rip off Please don’t even think about ordering from this restaurant, you’ll be just as disappointed as us and loss of money

Great food ,fantastic service. Made a boo boo and asked for collection , called chasing dragon and they amended delivery without a problem . Delivery driver was polite and delivered on time .

Ordered a Saturday night dinner from this takeaway that was to be delivered by user eats. Firstly, the delivery driver went to the wrong address. My daughter accepted the order but we discovered missing items. Couldn't get through initially to customer service at user eats so called the restaurant. They agreed to replace the missing item as they did not put it in the order. However, they called back and said that our address was too far and that they would credit us for the next order. Food was terrible. No egg in the egg fried rice and the duck was over salted. They were told that we did not want a credit a d the phone was put down. Very poor customer service as we lived in a 2 mile radius and the food was not worth the hassle

Some of My order was incorrect and the res was very cold that I could not eat it I am very disappointed I wanted to treat someone for a birthday dinner and the order was incorrect and arrived 30 minutes late plus it was very cold. I am extremely disappointed in the service I received and I am requesting a refund for the service and inconvenience caused to me.

Driver took forever to arrive said enjoy your food and nobody was there for 20-25 minutes

Good food as always, recently let down by late arrivals. The latest expected delivery time has been breached on the last two occasions by 5 or 10 minutes which when the range is 20 minutes is quite a long wait.

The reason it’s called chasing dragon, is because the food is so good it’ll make feel like flying

Guys, I can't fault the taste. But your tubs have got smaller, and your prices are way too high....if you're saying 8 prawns for the regular dishes, then don't give 6... I could still go into the Westend and have more for my money with a lot more choice from a buffet menu... Times are hard, I know, but when you have been ordering for over 10 years, you kindda notice.....

Have ordered the mixed veggies and beef ho fan. Didn’t expect theres bamboo shoot in mixed veggie, the beef in hofan was way too salty. Never again.

Disappointing that they sent the wrong item, then tried to tell me it was what I ordered..... they was supposed resend the item, but never did... I would have preferred that they sais can't send it sorry .... as I waited for it and then the food was cold

Fantastic food! Big portions, full of flavour. The meat spring roll was the best I've ever eaten, not just full of beansprouts, it had lots of meat and different veg and the coating was crispy and delicious.

Both me and my wife both got a upsetting stomach aches from the food we just got from chasing dragon normally it’s very tasty but tonight it tasted of so I will not be eating from there anymore

I always Order from Chasing Dragon and The Food is Normally Lovely , it didn’t tick the Right Boxes on this Occasion, 5* for the Food being Piping Hot and Delivered earlier than expected but the Beef with Cashew need lots more Seasoning and Tasted very Bland, The Chicken Pancake Roll is Made with Same Batter at the Banana/Pineapple Fritters and was too Thick and Sweet Tasting and Could I not Eat it, Disappointed…..

The food came piping hot, brilliant! But the veg spring roll and the sesame pancakes had a very strange tangy taste. I’m guess the batter maybe. It wasn’t a pleasant taste at all. The chowmein however was okay. Disappointed as I only ordered 5 different things.
