Lovely friendly, clean, traditional pub, always visit when visiting parents. Tracey and the staff couldn’t be more accommodating.

Stopped off in here for a few beers whilst the ferries were delayed. Good atmosphere, and encouraged us to order some takeaway food from the local shop next door and we could bring it back into the pub, when the next sailings were cancelled too. Friendly staff and good beer

A lovely wee pub with staff member on the ball over COVID and constantly cleaning and looking after everything and the drink was not expensive and very nice will go back in anytime

Nice wee place for a drink and they’re dog friendly which is great. They usually show the big football games that are on as well.

Lovely place for a pint after descending from Glenashdale Falls, and one of only three places on the island where you can gat a pint of Arran Blonde 🍺

Just had a plate of the gnocchi. I was kind of expecting the usual plate of rib sticking mush but instead I was dished up a beautifully created plate of flavours. Very impressive. Each mouthful gave a surprising wee nugget of something different. Perfectly cooked, a myriad of texture and the perfect portion size served on sparklingly clean crockery and served up by an enthusiastic and happy lass with red hair. A crisp pint of cider was an unintentionally perfect pairing. First class stuff. Thank you.
