For me the fish dish was ideal for lunch time. Healthy as it slso came with the salad.

Food was delicious but the waitress really made everything perfect I believe her name was jayden we are here on holidays from dublin and she made it feel as if we never left which is highly appreciated 100% recommend

We go to Harvester a lot with the family and go to different ones. The food is the same everywhere but did feel more effort had gone into the meals and presentation. The atmosphere got an extra star for the same reason the service got 5 stars. Our waitress Trish (?) was so friendly and helpful, really nothing was too much and we are such a mob I was really impressed by how professional and quick she was.

Had some spare time in Brighton so ended up popping into the harvester. Decent food at decent prices. Service was great. Had a server named Trish wait on me. Super friendly and helpful. I had a ton of questions about the menu due to my allergies but she couldn’t have been nicer and gave me all the info I needed to know. A refreshing change. Nice one harvester

We waited an hour and 15 minutes for our food to arrive, including a kids meal that we had asked to be brought to us as soon as it was ready. When one of the servers was asked about the food wait time, they said they didn't know and merely walked away. Instead of being understanding, the managers tried to justify why we waited so long and their reasoning did not make sense at all. I would not recommend this Harvester to anyone.

A good ambiance restaurant. The food was great aswell. I hate doing this kind of review but the service is awful. We’ve been waiting for our main course for like an hour. And then the time our Main comes,I already requested them to bring our dessert as I know it will take more time, we end up waiting for another 40mins just for the dessert. 😫Basically more than 2hrs of lunch 😫

A little wait before being seen on entry despite pre book, would have been better to be acknowledged sooner but after service was fine, good value with the salad bar as always compared to other restaurants options.

At first seemed alright but when the food came the forgot half the food that was ment to be on my plate and it was cold when they brung my chips out the tasted like they was cook hours ago the cutlery was dirty same with the salad bowls some how there was a pea on my partner’s plate with she’s allergic “WOULD NOT GO HEAR AGAIN”

Very bad experience Harold any salad left was given dirty bowls not washed properly my food was o k but my partner had hairs in it Manager tried to her best to out it right by discounting the bill. People in next table had cold pudding s too but they didn’t even put that right couldn’t get out quick enough certainly won’t go here again when visiting

We've eaten here many times and have always had good service and food, and have usually been able to eat in without pre-booking. However, last Sunday it was below par. It was very quiet for a Sunday lunchtime so we were able to get a seat in the bar or the restaurant straight away. We ordered at the bar and was served by a very polite and efficient young man. Unfortunately, we were told that they were out of chicken (on a Sunday lunchtime!) but more was being cooked and would be another half hour or so. We were given our bowls for the salad bar but on visiting found that it was mostly empty, as were the rolls and butter. Other customers had approached a member of staff and asked for everything to be refilled. Had it been really busy, this would have been understandable but there were very few other customers and plenty of staff. Apart from the bar tender and a new member of staff who was being trained, most of the staff seemed to stand around chatting to each other. Another customer had to ask for napkins to be refilled in the bar area too. Not the best experience here today.

Had a great experience at Harvester Brighton. Luigi was fantastic and really helped us out when we was in a rush! Food was excellent as was the salad bar as always. Will be back soon! Great food and great staff!

The food (cod and chips)was reheated, tough and lukewarm. The peas were minimal and chips just chucked randomly in the plate. The waffles for desert were tough and tasteless. There was no cutlery on our table and the glasses for water not clean. We had to keep asking for everything… and in the end the napkins didn’t come. The staff were disinterested when we reported our bag had been stolen from our table outside. Overall terrible experience. This contrasts markedly with the Harvester at Durley Chine in Bournmouth… always amazing and delicious

Got served by a lovely lady but they gave me my drink but my partner only asked for tap water but had to wait 30 minutes and had to remind them about it, had to wait for a long time for the food and we were going to have pudding but where the service was not good as felt like we were being ignored and we had plans for the evening for a show decided to just get the bill and go. First time to this Brighton Harvester and won't be returning in the future. It wasn't even busy as it was mid week, a Wednesday evening it was our last meal out in Brighton before heading home in the morning.

Luigu was great host and had an amazing personality and made it a very enjoyable meal with alot of laughter will defiantly come again.

Visited here today with my service users to get some lunch. They were very rude to us and we won't be going there again. I don't not recommend them for being friendly to people with learning disabilities. The guy was so rude to us it was disgusting. We didnt eat there as we didnt book abd they never had enough staff to cater for us. My service user was upset about this and they couldn't wait for us to leave. Not very supportive at all. Will never go there again.

Absolutely wonderful. I visited early on a Friday morning. The waiter was delightful and happy to Serve all my requests. The breakfast was the best breakfast I ever had, ever. Rich in flavours, fresh ingredients, large quantities, wonderful presentation and all well cooked. I also had a fruit salad (from the kids menu). I had to take a break to be able to eat everything and I paid less that £12. The place is very clean, has a beautiful seaside view and is beautifully decorated. I definitely will return here, every time I am in Brighton!

Myself and my dad had come to Brighton for a few days. And we decided to go to the harvester for dinner on our last night. We ordered via the app. I ordered a steak and my dad ordered a burger we also ordered drinks. Our drinks came very swiftly which all seemed to be a good start. My dads meal then came out but mine did not. I told my dad to carry on and start his meal as I didn’t want it to get cold thinking mine will follow shortly after 10 minutes after my dads came out and mine still had not come.. so we asked one of the waiters where mine had got to and he chased it up for us and apologised. We then got told that mine had been separated off the order? And that it will be another 5 mins. Waited over 5 more minutes and still didn’t have a meal my dad had practically finished his. From the time my dads had come out mine didn’t show for around 25/30 mins after so my dad asked to speak to the manager. Who decided to argu back with my dad. Saying the order hadn’t been forgotten about it was separated? And seemed to have a poor attitude not professional at all. I then asked if I can have a refund. The manager did give me and extra £5 for the mishab which was appreciated. But spoilt our last evening of our holiday together. Then had to go els where to get myself some food as I hadn’t eaten. Wouldn’t recommend eating here. Also had to ask for knife and forks that wasn’t bought out before the meals. Over all was a bad experience..

We had a baby with us and the highchair was already at the table when we arrived. Some of our group was late, but staff were happy to wait. After the delicious mains we had deserts which were even more delicious. We stayed and had drinks until 9pm and the staff were great. Happy to split the bill and we left a good tip for the good service.

Me and my partner went in two separate nights and while most of the salad bar okay we did find one mouldy bit of cucumber and the items at the end some of them were stale both nights. The first night the food was okay the second they had swapped out things without telling us. The service on the first night was great but the second was slow and unresponsive when needed. The atmosphere was good both nights but that can also be attributed to the fact it's on Brighton's sea front so location has a lot to do with it.

Wonderful location for a nice breakfast to start your day. Greeted warmly by the manager Luigi, quick service and delicious food.

Ayla was attentive & caring throughout service, nothing was too much trouble despite having a packed restaurant she was calm, chatty, warm & friendly. Would happily come again. Food was good, I used a Groupon voucher for 2 courses for 2 people & found its very good value, £13 each!

Almost 2 hours for a 'quick' lunch. Felt like constantly by being forgotten about and bottom of the queue for everything.

Worst experience ever. We ordered jacket potato, mashed peas with chicken dish. After waiting for 45 odd mins, we ran out of patience and requested for a take away which also was delayed by another 30 mins. When we reached our hotel we were surprised to find that instead of jacket potato we found chips and peas were missing. I would never visit this place.

Been here few times now never enough staff even if quiet. Food I had wasn't great ordered chicken flat bread 3 tiny cubes chicken and chips tasted 3 days old for £9.30. Best bit was free salad.

Mushrooms were missing on both our plates. Not told there was a £1.99 charge for gravy. Apart from that OK.

The food at this Harvester is the best out of all the other ones around. Our server Rachel she was amazing at her job, we loved her friendliness and vibe One of the steaks was not great but this was rectified by our server which was amazing. The only thing I have to say about improvement is the cleanliness of the place. Our table was prepared in a rush and was dirty, the cutlery was dirty and the there was crumbs around the woodwork by the tables. I think more attention needs to be paid to cleaning in between customers or end of day

Quite possibly the worst meal I’ve ever had. Half chicken was just a precooked chicken reheated. The mashed potato was frozen pellet type , which you just microwave, and was watery. The “Harvester signature gravy” I wouldn’t give to the dog. Not busy, but took at least 20 minutes for our drinks to arrive. Had Guinness, should have known it would be a mistake, and it was. Waitress seemed cheery, only plus point. Avoid.

Coffee machine was broken - when we finally did get coffeee it was only warm and served 20minutes before breakfast arrived! No mushrooms available but extra beans and hash browns were offered - but these arrived 10 minutes after breakfast!

I would like to say, the service I received today at noon, was great. The chap who welcomed me when I asked for a take away was friendly and nothing was to much bother, I was actually just stopped in a coach bay, , only allowed 15 minutes to drop off, so was worried about getting a ticket, he offered to bring my food out to me once it was ready.. to save me any worry, so kind. he even bought out to me a little pot of ketchup. Also the young girl behind the bar who took my order and made my coffee, very polite, helpful and friendly. what lovely thoughtful staff. much appreciated. Thank you

DOG FRIENDLY!!! I love coming here sometimes but it is always hit and miss with the food you either get really nice food or the food just isn't cooked properly. Which is a shame. Loving that it is now dog friendly too and the bubbly guy who seated us and served us behind the bar definitely helps make the experience fun. Also pays attention to my dog and feeds him biscuits!! 🐶 Definitely love the salad bar and the warm rolls Drinks and service

Great family atmosphere and lovely food. Thank you so much to our wonderful waiter Flavius for giving us the most special and memorable meal ever. He brought out a balloon for my son's 4th birthday and a bag of treats and even bought my husband a pint after finding out my husband had just finished chemotherapy. My son said it was 'the best meal ever' and you gave us all such a special time. Your kindness meant such a lot to my family Flavius and you are an asset to the company.

The waiter was so incredibly lovely. I was alone with my 5 children, 2 under 2 aswell and all 3 of my older children each said at different points how lovely he was which is really unlike them. The food was hot and tasteful and well presented. It was just a lovely lunch and well needed family time together after a tough 6 months so thank you

This place is amazing. The views and location are first class and the food is good quality. But best of all I have to praise the staff, particular our waiter, James. From the second we entered the premises he was attentive, courteous and funny. He knew the menu well and was able to recommend specific dishes. He was, by far, the best waiting staff we had experienced in a long time. The manageress on duty, Beth, was also very nice. If you go there and get James, you are very privileged!

We have not been to a harvester for a long time and on a whim after coming off of the palace pier we decided to try the harvester here just by the aquarium. Have to say we absolutely loved it. The food was excellent. The service was excellent however, there were one or two crying babies Around us and it would’ve been nice to be sitting a little bit quieter. However the views outside are incredible. We will come back in the summer, sit outside and watch the sea crashing onto the beach by the palace pier. James man, who our waiter, And he could not be more caring. Thank you, James.

As Londoners, when we're in Brighton, it's always Harvester on the beachfront. Lovely atmosphere, amazing staff, and the food is awesome! Huge portions, hot served, fresh and delightful. Many thanks for Flavious for the very welcomed hosting and sorting everything out in no time on a busy day!

Came to visit today and we had an amazing waiter called James. As a harvester employee he was absolutely amazing and is a true credit to the team. Thankyou so much James!!!

India was our server and he was excellent friendly and knowledgeable on the food and any questions we wished to ask.

Not the best experience to be honest, won’t be returning as this is not the first time the service and foods been bad. Waited over a hour for a lukewarm plate of food, wasn’t given steak knife’s, when asked for them the waitress forgot when I got up to politely remind her I overheard her asking a colleague who said they didn’t have to who she replied with “that’s a shame” in a sarcastic tone because obviously she didn’t actually care. Salad bar was less than mid and half of it was missing. Table behind us demanded a refund and left without eating and the table in front sent there whole order back and got different food. Says it all really.

Had a really great time and India was absolutely lovely!! Its a shame the place is riddled with fruit flies put me off my desert

Tasty food, quick service, salad bar is fresh

Absolutely awful food, started off by getting our salad bowls, getting our salad and after asking for our drinks cups we in fact didn’t receive them untill after we had finished eating! While eating our salad from the salad bar some of our guests main meals arrived also? My burger was absolutely dripping in water, grease and fat and I couldn’t eat more than a bite as it had soaked all the other contents of the burger and tasted awful. As you can see in the image uploaded is my very soggy hash brown due to this and the roll etc underneath was like eating wet tissue. My partners steak was cooked wrong twice and all of our other guests said their food was awful also! So embarrassing! This is where we chose to take our daughter for her 4th birthday meal yesterday and quite frankly I regret it! Worst £75 I’ve ever spent and that was just for me, my partner and our 2 children, other guests paid for their meals. Won’t be returning!

Fab evening the staff went above and beyond for my sisters 70th birthday meal. 16/03/2024. They worked so hard nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was fab Thankyou so much to all of them. They need an extra bonus bless them x

Came with my mum and sister for mother's day. Food was good but when we entered my sister asked if we could possibly get a window seat to which the guy at the front desk was quite rude in telling us no they had full bookings. Thankfully India who served us was very polite and patient with us and the main reason I've rated 4 stars total. So thanks India! ;)

Always nice and friendly staff even when busy. Usually very prompt and helpful. Salad bar/condiments stands (including their premium own brand) could use a bit better filling up.

Nothing was great. Totally shocking. Service was awful, staff rude, food cold and items missing off the plates, salad bar empty had to keep asking for items to be replaced. Ordered drinks to be told the ticket had gone in the bin so never arrived. Staff chatting to each other rather than serving. Toilets disgusting, all were flooded and dirty nappies left in cubical. Never have I ever experienced anything like it. Restaurant wasn't even busy either so no excuse for the poor behaviour. Certainly needs to be looked at!
