After waiting two hours for my food I was finally told the delivery driver couldn't find my place. They didn't bother to ring or use there brain to look around the back. So I'll be left without tonight. All well there loss in the long term.

If it possinle to give 0 stars then thats what i would have rgiven. Ordered a take away at 8.04pm was delivered at 10.35pm. Phoned and was told it will be 10 mins. Which it wasn't. If you can't deliver an efficient service then stop taking orders online until you have caught up. 2.5 hour wait for my delivery is completely unacceptable. Never again

Absolute joke of a place...DO NOT ORDER A HOME DELIVERY..Waited over 2 hours and all they kept saying was on its way ...Rubbish...

Food arrived late cold and so much mayo

Me and my family come here every week, absolutely delicious. Never too cold, never stale, never rotten or anything! Best shop in town. All together we get a meal that costs £13, which fills all of us up and we've got leftovers.

States open until 3am on a Saturday, turns up 12.40am and it's shut! Fair standard this happens.

Ordered at 7pm either 30 min delivery on website. At 7.45 nothing so called the shop and the guy said 20 minutes. 45 minutes later phoned back and still not even been sent. Cancelled order waiting on refund. Shocking service don't use there website or delivery service

Wrong order wouldn't refund or send out what was missing definitely won't be ordering again from here

Very good food & reasonably priced , had kebabs,burgers, chips & pizzas from them b4😋 I don't know what some of these comments are talking about , but I would NEVER describe their food as soggy 🙈 sometimes delivery can b long time. Awesome take away food 🍻

Passing through Yeovil popped in here for a chicken shish best I’ve had for a long time ! Loads of chicken salad fresh chilli sauce superb when in Yeovil again this will be my first port of call

I was still checking menu and man was asking what i want to order. Just give customer time to read your menu and choose something. I also had few small black hairs (probably from beard) on my chips. Don't know about kebab but hard to notice it if you're not looking for. Food taste ok (nothing special) and portions are big. My first and last visit.

Food was shocking, expensive for what you get

Ordered 30 mins in advance- just starting as we arrived. Had to wait for doner to ‘cook’- chipped off bits that were ‘cooked’ which caused us to have upset stomach. Had hardly any salad and a big drama over payment as they only take cash! Very rude and under staffed. Awful experience

Order arrived 2.5 hours after ordering, called advised delivery 20 mins 1hour 20 later finally did! didn't read notes that were left, small chips arrived instead of the large ordered. Will not order again!! Poor poor poor

Ordered food when week were working late. Arrived cold and stodgey and they forgot the drinks. Rang them up and told them. They didn't bother bringing the drinks again. Went and picked them up from the shop 2 hours later and the bloke started yelling that it shouldn't have been a big deal. Gross food, disgusting service and a rude shouting manager trying to tell me I should have just forgotten about the drinks we paid for that they didn't want to deliver.

I wish I could give it a zero. Very unfriendly staff too, especially someone called Ramadan who works there , very aggressive, very impolite shouting to customers. Food is below average to average

First experience, I made the order through the website and went to pick it up at the place, I was quickly attended, I really liked the practical and fast service. Ordered a lamb doner kebab which came as per the menu is very tasty!

Placed order online. Bloke rang me and said he wasn’t delivering. Said I could have a refund but wouldn’t be in my account for 2 days. I said can I come and get a refund if I come to the shop. Asked if I can come and get cash. Bloke just ranted and shouted in my ear kept saying ‘we don’t deliver, money be in your account in 48 hours, no cash, no delivery, I keep telling you no refund for 48 hours….’ Cannot BELIEVE the rudeness of this man!!! So he’s had £32 from me and won’t give it me back. So £32 down and no food. Cheers Charcoal Grill. UNBELIEVABLE customers service. Feel like I’ve been robbed!!

Excellent as ever, no drink involved, just hankered after kebab meat and chips (had my own salad in my fridge) for an early evening meal. Didn't disappoint.

We called at 6.25pm and waited.... 7.50pm we we're then told its being prepared..... 8.22pm I called back and it was being finished???? 2 hours so we cancelled and my kids were very upset 😡

Not good, ordered a delivery to arrive at 6.15pm and at 6.55pm we are still waiting for our our order.

Would not even rate 1 star if that was an option. Ordered at 7:30pm by 9pm I called to chase and was told it was on its way. I waited another 15 minutes and it finally turned up. The delivery driver blamed me because the house was “too hard to find” (no other delivery driver has ever had a problem). The food arrived cold so I called to ask for a refund or replacement food as I was not happy with the 2+ hour wait and the fact that the food was cold. He told me that I was making it up and swore at me

5 star. Placed a £70 order yesterday and everything was spot on….McDonald’s take note. Food was tasty and delivered bang on time. highly highly recommend.

Absolutely disgusting! I was looking through just eat to order and found 3 types of Munchies Box deals - (a pizza box filled with small portions of various bits from £10 to £20) . After further looking, i tried to find it again to order but couldnt and wasnt sure which charcoal grill it may have been and thought perhaps i may not have even been on a local one. I phoned up as easiest to enquire and they said they would put something together for £40. All was ok until i politely declined as i wasnt looking to spend that much. The man then became extremely rude, having a go at me, shouting over the top of me asking me questions but then wouldnt let me explain. I used to come here a lot but will not be going back now! Literally no need for his reaction or behaviour.

We have ordered takeaways multiple times from TOCG, we order at 4 and the food seems to be arriving later and later, this time it took 2 hours to arrive. To top it off I ordered a create your own pizza and they got it completely wrong, only 3 of the toppings I ordered were on the pizza, 2 were missing and they added a topping on which I don't like. The last few mixed kebabs I've ordered have been either dry and crispy kebab meet or very fatty chicken meat. They used to be the best kebab but I'm not sure what's changed in the last few months.

The store charges only in cash. I tried chicken donër wrap, which didn’t taste any different than a regular supermarket chicken. Wrap was dripping oil…I rate it as average

They treat me well. It's all pretty much the same as other kebab shops apart from the chicken sandwich which is really good.

Thought it looked good and came here many times, we saw that every time we went they used the pizza cutter which was for a vegetarian pizza and we told them we were vegetarian which was covered in bacon bits and meat fat. When looking up their food hygiene rating it was a 0 which wasn't shown the shop. Handling money thn cooking food. Very unhygienic, go to Polats instead which is on the Westfield estate, much better and better priced and way bigger quantity and quality of food.

Staff where lovely and friendly I might vegetarian kebab as always was on point 🥰

I have read through the reviews for the original charcoal grill most of the negative reviews are for the rudeness on the phone. I have placed an order with a friendly man who when I told him my hearing was not good he moved somewhere quieter and patiently went through my order, so my experience is good thanks guys great food.

I would not even give it this one star. Badea service long wait. I ordered twice from them and both times they forgot our drinks. First time they said they will make it up next time. Second time they said I did not order the drinks. Very dissappointed

Staff member did not listen to order properly therefore giving us the wrong order, despite wrong order costing the same price as original order we were over charged. They did not rectify the problem, told it was our fault and to deal with it. Staff rude and food not the greatest, wont be returning

Razaman has anger issues and treats the customers like dog poo. Literally there the food I had already paid for down on the counter and scowled at me. When I apologised and asked if I’d done something to offend him he ordered me out of the shop. I left without the food but with a bad taste in my mouth anyway. If you wanna be yelled at and treated like dirt for £5 then this is your kind of place.

Always had a good shish or chicken shish kebab from here. Chips are not so good, cheap frozen ones with little taste. Staff always friendly when I have visited.

Chicken shish kebab was awful, chicken tasted really horrible and very chewy fatty bits even tho its s shish do chicken breast are used but it was yuk. Chips were cooked in oil older than myself and so were disgusting, lots of take away outlets in yeovil so go else where, oh and parking outside is nightmare

The last time I went there, I was told to sod off, for no other reason than that I said 'Er' ehen they (brusquely) asked what I would like. I fully realise that they have chosen to serve a community that is frequentky drunk & abusive but I was neither. Previous regular customer, no more! I would give no stars if I could.

Made order at about 12 and we still waiting for delivery now at 2.26 been ringing phone and no answer ir been cut off this is a joke

Used this place last year when in the area for the first time for a show & food was nice. Was in Yeovil again this week and after this show when walking back to the premier Inn I once again went here for my late night snack. Ordered the double burger and chips with a soft drink for about £7 and again everything was really tasty. See you again next year !

Absolutely disgusting human beings. Refusing to correct a mistake on their end, hanging up on me several times whilst trying to solve this issue. How this place is still open is beyond me.

This place is a disgrace I was trying to order a pizza and they were very rude. And said I ask to many questions. I was asking about what meal deals they do. The manager was very rude to me. Disgusting the way I was just spoken to on the phone. I would never order any food from there again, whatever happened to customer service. Vile.

The very first kebab I tried was the charcoal grill's mixed beast. For a kebab, it is fairly expensive, but there is a reason, you get a LOT of meat! It's been a while, so cannot comment on delivery experience, however when you go in to order, they cook it fresh in front of you. Everything is on skewers, and these skewers are BIG! The most frustrating thing is the smell. You've got the smell of fresh lamb chicken and Kofte wafting as you wait for the individual kebabs to cook. I generally prided myself on a healthy appetite, but this defeated me! You could EASILY feed 2 people with the mixed kebab, and 3 at a push! I've found the staff friendly and helpful every time I visited. I haven't been to Yeovil in a while, so cannot speak as of Dec 2018, but if it is ANYTHING like it was last time I visited, you won't be disappointed!

Even 1 star is 1 star too many. Ordered and was given a delivery time which was an hour and a half later than when we ordered. We thought we would wait as were hungry and had already paid for it. The hour and a half went past and no food still. So i called the 'Original Charcoal Grill' to find out when the food is coming and what they're doing. After about 10 minutes trying to find our order they eventually found it and told us they haven't even started preparing it yet. I hadn't even started saying anything when all of a sudden he strted shouting saying the website(just eat) gave me the wrong time and to go ahead to cancel it. When i asked him how i do that he said nothing and put the phone down. Waste of a night waiting for our food. Completely disgraceful, rude staff. Whoever runs that place hasn't got the slightest of clues how to treat customers, nor to their staff. Pathetic.

Lovely kebabs,and a special order not a problem to make when we called them! Delivery driver didn’t have enough change upon delivery and so promised to return later with the change. He did so very promptly!Massively impressed with the service!

I have used charcoalgrill for many years. Until tonight I have never had an issue. Always very nice and friendly. I rang and asked for a takeaway this evening I have never ever been to spoken to like that. So rude I only asked a question about the price. The person I spoke to was ranting and raving at me. Saying we don't give free food. All I asked was the price. What a joke. I'm fuming I would like to know who the owner is because I will be making a complaint.i will never use this place again

On my stumbles home from a random night out as you do, in my desperate search for greasy food. This place shined like an angel with a halo in the dark! Provided me with the chicken wrap cure that I needed to continue my journey home.

Awful customer service, food turned up one of our kebabs was completely wrong called them and was greeted by a very angry gentleman who accused us of lying and that we needed to retrieve our kebab from the bin after we were told by another member of staff that a new kebab would be sent out! Worst customer service I have ever experienced the man also added he would be grateful to never have our custom again. Can safely say I will never order from here again!

Ordered at 19:30. EDT 20:45. 21:15 called and was told my order would be further 10/15 minutes. Cancelled as a 2 hour wait is totally unreasonable.

Food was ok, no to the usual standard order food at 7.35pm delivery time confirmed 8.25 then pushed back to 8.35pm which was fine, 9.15 came and still no food called the restaurant and the girl explained it would be 15 mins, which we can understand they were busy but the person on the phone did comment saying that they deal with orders as they came and we deal with them in order of receipt, which was funny how we had ordered 2 hours previous. But they did send us a bottle of coke which was good to show the recognised the inconvience. Food was warmish

Called shop when food was 30 minutes late and he told me that it was out for delivery. When it arrived an hour late, the driver told us he had only been guven the food to deliver 10 minutes prior so the shop had lied. Wont use again
