Went there very recently and this place caught me by surprise. The food taste very well and unique and the decor was so nice. They have milkshakes and coffee. All deserts were included. Definitely one of my favourite places.

This is a new buffet place that has opened in Yeovil, we thought we would give it a try as we were in Yeovil for the day. The decor is very morden and light very nice and clean. For a buffet restaraunt it is very small. Food was not good at all......we went at lunch time and it was quite not a lot of choice and half the pots had nothing in them, other things like the spring rolls looked like they were left over from the night before. The only thing which I liked was the sweet and sour chicken which was the only thing worth eating. This place could do so well as it is in the Main town it just needs a good chef. The staff there are alright and friendly. Hope the owners will take this on broad and try to improve on the food side.

We tried this place for a quick lunch for the first time recently and once is enough. It may be cheap but it is not "cheap and cheerful" it is "cheap and nasty". You can barely hear yourself think, the music is much too loud and because of the empty decor of this place and the floor other people have to shout at each other to speak. The quality and choice of the food is very poor. Used plates and glasses are not collected. Many screaming kids in prams being fed and dropping food everywhere. We would never go here again and would never recommend it unless it was to somebody that I seriously disliked!!

we had a lunch there - £6.95 for selection about 15 dishes sound like bargain - i cant believe that for this price people can still complain about something - soup in the decent pub cost more ! Place is clean , food nice and fresh, small selection of drinks - ( i guess there is no alcoholic drink option - but - well i have to live with that. really good value for money - - we will come back soon ,

We had been keen to try this restaurant for a while, as we had walked and driven past a few times, so finally took the plunge not long ago. First, the plusses: it is spotlessly clean on the inside. They obviously take great care in the cleanliness of the surroundings, and it shows. It is fresh, and well-decorated. The dishes are well-presented and appeared fresh. Once, when I was serving myself from a particular dish, one of the staff members told me that he was about to refill that dish, so I should wait a minute and get fresher food. I found that very kind and helpful. They also tasted quite nice, and the curries were flavourful. The atmosphere was pleasant. Considering that the floors are marble, you'd think it would be loud but it was actually quite pleasant and nice. There were about 15 other people in the restaurant when we were there but it was flowing nicely and we didn't wait too long. There are some areas where they could use a little bit of work. First, be warned: you pay for this product before you eat. I wasn't expecting this. Perhaps it is to prevent people from doing a runner but I'd never paid for food that I'd not eaten yet before. Second, the service wasn't very good. We left a stack of used plates and some empty water bottles on our table long before leaving and the staff members walked by several times and ignored the used items (and us). I mean, at a buffet you really only have two jobs: filling the buffet and clearing dishes. Why was it so hard to clear our dishes? Third, the buffet was a bit tight, spacewise. When other people were up at the buffet, we couldn't serve ourselves. It wasn't the end of the world, but be aware that you have to wait your turn when there's more than 4-5 people up there. Of course this is because of space constraints, but diners should be aware of this before deciding to go. An earlier review below mentioned that ice cream portions were huge - nobody ever mentioned ice cream to us and there wasn't any ice cream sitting out. There was a plate of tiny little brownies that looked like you needed about eight to have a worthwhile dessert. Was ice cream on the menu? This is news to us. Apparently they charge £15.95 at the weekend. We were there on a weeknight for dinner and paid £12.95, which I think was a bit ambitious. I personally would never pay £15.95 for this buffet (in Yeovil? Never) and I cannot imagine what they offer at the weekend above and beyond what we had, aside from the fact that they are price-gouging (or is that "surge pricing" these days?). Make your own choices, but I think that £16 for a buffet of this calibre is a non-starter.

Went in for the lunchtime buffet on a monday at 6.95 pp. Greeted with a smile and a chat, told where everything was. A choice of 15 dishes were on offer. We went and helped ourselves to our first plates of food. All piping hot apart from my onion bhajis. I told the waiter and instantly he removed the dish from the hot plates and got them replaced with fresh, and even came over to our table and offered me some from the new batch and apologized. After having 2 more plates and feeling quite stuffed we made our way. Very friendly staff, chatty and with smiles! Amazing what a difference a smile can make. Lovely food and staff. Not a very big restaurant, so get in early or book up first. Highly recommended for service and quality.

Ten days ago I went down to this restaurant to book a table for 8 people. I stopped outside the window to see the menu and as I looked inside a member of staff went behind the buffet and using his fingers, tasted every single dish! Even when he looked up and saw me,shaking my head he carried on. As I am involved in hospitality training, I know what should and shouldn't happen as the food service staff are the biggest contaminator of food and therefore should be trained to the highest level. As the Noor has a high food hygiene rating, I would suggest the owners should train all staff and warn them of the consequences of bad food hygiene to both themselves and the company. Needless to say I did not book and will not go to a restaurant I cannot trust

The prospect of an 'all you cat eat' buffet in Yeovil was quite exciting. The restaurant is on the small side, which means that there is not a great deal of space for the food offerings. The small range of food available may be one of the reasons the place is always so quite (eaten there twice, when we were the only diners, but walked past a number of times too). It's a shame that it isn't busier because the food is actually quite nice. However, the lack of trade does mean that some of the food hangs about and isn't as hot or fresh as I'd like if you leave it later into the opening period. On visiting today the dish of noodles became empty and I asked for replenishment, but twenty minutes later when we left the dish was still left there empty. The staff are friendly enough, but the lack of diners means that there has been little atmosphere. At £6.95 for lunch on Mondays to Thursday there is the most limited choice: today for the extra £2 charged on Friday-Saturday lunchtimes there were about 5 or 6 extra dishes available. The evening prices carry a £5-6 premium and I'm really not sure what extra is or can be offered: there really doesn't seem to be the space to offer more dishes. I'm not convinced that it would be worth £15.95 on a weekend evening, but maybe I'll try some time.

Seven of us went here for lunch today and were very impressed. Such lovely people, they really deserve to do well. I can only echo what previous reviewers have said and would definitely return here. I like the idea of the takeaway menu. Needs a better selection of desserts; we went at lunchtime so perhaps they may have more at night. We liked the unlimited soft drinks machine! One of our party was disabled though and there are no ground floor facilities entailing a climb up and down a flight of stairs. This might be an issue for some people. Although some with children might disagree with me this place really needs a drinks licence to compete with others locally.

We came here for Sunday lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was freshly cooked and very high standard. A lot of Indian buffets tend to be swimming in oil but this wasn't. There was a good choice and most of the food was the popular standards eg chicken tikka masala, this was one of the best I've had. I'm not keen on Chinese food but my husband tried it and said it was excellent (coming from him that's good because most things get "all right" or "OK" There were unlimited fizzy drinks and dessert was included. The choice was brownies or ice cream, we understand this will be expanded in the future. Beware the ice cream portion was big enough for 2! The staff were friendly and helpful. Only a couple of minor things. The restaurant is quite small so I would recommend getting there as they open. There are 2 rows of serving dishes and they haven't left enough room between them so if it's busy it could be a bit of a squash. The only negative about the food was the naan breads were a bit doughy but with the rice being light and fluffy and perfect it's a minor point. The value is amazing. We paid £8.95 for Sunday lunch and the drinks were reasonable as well. Monday - Thursday lunch is only £6.95, couldn't get this quality anywhere else locally. It's more expensive in the evenings though. You can also get a takeaway, very unusual for a buffet. They give you a container, price depends on size, you fill it up and off you go. We'll be going back, very soon. Well done to the owners, you've got a winner here.

This has only been opened a month. It is a buffet only serving Indian, Bangladeshi, Thai and Chinese. We went along at Sunday lunchtime. For the small price of £8.95 you can help yourself to a good range of food. Prices vary during the week and time of day. If you fancy a tasty lunch while shopping in the week it is only £6.95. The choices were fairly standard but freshly cooked, hot and absolutely first class. I have been to many Indian buffets and this is one of the best. There were free refills on basic fizzy drinks as well and dessert is included. At the moment this is fairly limited to choice of brownies or ice cream, but we understand they will be expanding as time goes on. I had ice cream and the portion was more than enough for 2. In addition to this the place was spotless and the staff friendly and helpful. As an innovative twist you can get a takeaway as well. There are 2 sizes, they provide the containers, you fill them with your choice and off you go. We were impressed (not easy to impress my husband) and will be returning.
