Chapters Diner in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

I’m sure it used to be more dog friendly than it was today. Being told to sit in the drafty corner behind the entrance door, so that the dog could go right into the corner, behind the opening door. It didn’t used to be like this.

Been here loads but this time was not great hash browns not cooked properly I spoke to the young guy who was front of house and instead of apologising he argued with me and told me they were cooked I won’t come back this place is so popular that customer service no longer exists !

Very friendly service. Huge tasty breakfast. Bottomless Tea/coffee. Great value. Would recommend 👌.

Really amazing breakfast. Lots of choice and we couldn’t decide so we ordered loads. Food so tasty we ate it all! Staff are really friendly and welcoming. We had no idea this existed until we needed to kill time waiting for our car to be ready at VW (just next door) but we will definitely be back.

Me and my friends have been coming to this cafe for year's and today I had the worst service I have ever received. I asked if I could have extra toast for my breakfast after it arrived if I pay for it and was told yes by the waitress. After this a member of staff approached me and said "do you have to be a d*ickhead when you come in here" he was stood behind me so wasn't too sure who be was speaking to until he repeated himself to my table. I obviously got a little bit defensive as I had said nothing wrong or been rude in any way at all me and my 2 mates couldn't believe it. My friend went and explained that the waitress had misheard what we said as she told the kitchen we told her we didn't get our toast we paid for which was not the case we wanted to pay for extra toast. The owner said thank you for explaining but no apology cane from any member of staff for calling a 65 year old man a D*ckhead. I'm not going to slte the food as it is always top standard food from here but unfortunately as no apology was made and I have left feeling emotionally drained I will not be returning.

Fab breakfast! Has been recommended to me many times over the last 5 or so years …. Should have come sooner! I’ve been missing out!

Extremely rude to my child used to be a great cafe be will never ever come back again be warned if you have kids don’t come here

Lovely breakfast which ever one you choose. Unfortunately let down by crap over cooked sausages. Sorry if the meat has shrinked from the inside of the skin something is wrong. Probably cooked from frozen. Ill still be back though.

We all had a Amazing breakfast which was really hot and presented nicely on the plate :) the staff are friendly and the place is clean and tidy

Wonderful welcoming atmosphere, the food was fantastic and the staff matched the food, it’s vary rare for an owner to go out their way, this one definitely cares about his customers , service and the quality of food he delivers.

Great value and friendly staff. Sylv and her crew dish up great value food. The veggie breakfast at £5.40 including hot drink is a substantial meal that sets you cup for the day. I regularly eat their which says it all really!!

Really friendly cafe, with a tasty menu. Loved the all day Breakfast.We both had the bikers breakfast and staff were more than happy to change parts of the order for alternatives I had extra tomato instead of beans and my husband had mushrooms instead of tomatos. We took our dog with us as we had been walking on Goss Moor and she was treated to a sausage free of charge. Our daughter had a hot dog which she really enjoyed. Lovely and clean, endless tea great staff what more could we ask for NOTHING

Excellent venue for our bike meets friendly staff and excellent food. They also have a weekly bike meet every Thursday which is worth a look.

Great breakfast again. Consistently good food and great atmosphere. Will be visiting again and highly recommend.

Two min walk from garage. Clean, friendly and wide range of choices for all meals to eat in or take away. Hubby is wishing we lived nearby - healthy options available too. Hard working family team.

Just wanted somewhere a bit different for my daughters 21st breakfast! We chose here, I had never been before! What a find!! Absolutely brilliant! Staff were amazing, friendly and helpful!Will def be returning. My daughters will all be returning too! One said it’s her new favourite place as breakfast served all day!

2nd year coming to Indian queens, discovered chapters diner last year, now always first stop for breakfast, food and service has always been good and price not bad also, highly recommend

Amazing breakfast been here twice in a row a good hearty breakfast cooked to perfection and a tea or coffee all for just under a fiver I'll be back keep up the good work.

Chapters off great value for money and lovely food . Have stopped here on many occasions, usually for breakfast . The presidents breakfast is lovely and sets you up for the day and is excellent value .

Very quick service, beautiful Egg, Thick Cut Bacon, the Coffee was very nice but most importantly the oil was clean. I would recommend this place!

Hubby and I stopped in between errands and found a hearty selection of American diner style food. Hot, clean and quick. A few seats outside if the weather is good and friendly staff.

working up this way and this came highly recommended by my builder mates , unbelieveable menu and one of the best brekkie ive had for a while , the fried eggs were the best ive had , unlimited tea and coffee too , first impression you think whats this gonna be like as its in a old container , but dont let this put you off , the food is lovely the staff very friendly and attentive , this is a deffo when im back there working , and i know my breakfasts lol

This is a regular stop for me when out on a ride. Great quality food, and is served quickly. Staff are always polite and quick to clear any dirty tables to minimise any waiting.

We like to pop in every now and then for a fry up . Always get a generous portion for what you pay . Good little place and friendly staff .

This is super cosy diner in a shabby container. Just had a couple of coffees, but it's very popular so the food must be good!!

Deceiving how big this place is from outside. There are 2 rooms. Lovely decor. Friendly staff. Good food and drink. Very reasonable prices too! Definitely worth another visit!

My wife and I stumbled across Chapters when looking for somewhere to eat on TripAdvisor. It was only a short drive from where we were staying in Newquay so we decided to give it a try. All of the staff were very friendly from the moment we walked in. When looking at the menu the prices were very reasonable and the food was fantastic. My wife had the Indian Burger (blue cheeseburger) and a milkshake and I had the Full English which comes with unlimited tea and extra toast if required. this amazingly only came to £11. I'll definitely return and I highly recommend it.

This little diner is a lovely place to get grub from! Darren is so friendly, he always has a natter to me and my mother in law when we pop up for our full breakfasts, only thing i would change is the sliced potatoes and put on hash browns lol, so much better!

Brilliant place to get a great bit of grub. Caters for all ages often my husband takes our two girls here( 11 and 6) for breakfast they love it. Friendly service always with a smile. Free refills on tea with breakfast can't go wrong. Spot on burgers, Nice cakes to eat. Dameralls motorbike shop next door which is a bonus for the husband. Dog friendly. Good value for money

Called in on the way down to Hayle at the start of our holiday. Was very easy to find just off the A30 and on the route we were heading. The menu is full and varied, we ordered two of the big breakfasts as we were starving, been on the road since 2.30am and two mugs of coffee. The food was delicious, well cooked and plentiful. Lots of seating inside and out, and not just for bikers!

Food cooked to perfection. Generous helpings served by wonderful staff. Been many times and standard never drops.

We stopped here to pick up something for our son at the motorcycle shop next door and popped in for a bacon roll as it looked great. One of the nicest bacon baguettes we have had anywhere, great soft rolls and very well cooked bacon. Superb and well worth a visit. great décor inside with biking posters and the feel of an American diner/truck stop.

Ideal stop off - it is what is says, a diner type place next to Damerals Motor cycle Emporium. good cheap food and drink with a very good host

Awesome breakfast, good chose of food on the menu, good seating inside and out. Plenty of parking on the road, just off the A30 so easy to get too.

Been here a few times now, but not on a bike , usually walk up the Roach across Goss Moor, does a very good breakfast, usually busy but still quick.Lots of proper Cornish Boys. Proper cafe. ansome,

We won a lunch here, and we found this on an industrial estate and not sure what to expect. This was a fabulous place to visit, tucked away but well worth finding. So clean you could eat off the floor, fabulous easy food, burgers, pasties, simple Cornish food, superbly cooked, and the owner was an absolute gentleman who has only been there since about January, easy to talk to and very happy to please. We wish him good luck in his hard work and long may he be there. Well worth finding and a good cheap meal for anyone from lorry drivers, bikers, and holiday maker alike. Just seek and you will find this brilliant place

Just visited Chapter 1 for the first time. Lovely family run diner, clean, modern with brilliant food and service. I was fascinated by the amount of customers I overheard saying they would definitely return.I most certainly would.

Great food friendly service. A must if you are travelling on the A 30 Indian Queens. The breakfasts are fabulous and the burgers are the best around for miles. Want home made chips go to Chapter one.

Darren and his lad, provide a warm friendly welcome, great food from a simple menu, and good coffee, ideally situated just of the A30. Great service and value.

I found this great little family run diner, having just opened besides Damerells Motorcycles just off the A30 at Indian Queens, it only seats 15 or so, but the burgers, well, hand made, 100% wow and for less than £5.Its states to be a biker diner but don't let that put you off, its lovely, a must do if your on the way down Cornwall.
