My husband gave me a trip to Scotland, we are Spanish, we stayed near Chapter IV... we had dinner there on our second day in Glasgow and we returned with a waiter named Paul, an excellent, super friendly worker, we loved the experience. Thank you very much Paul.

Lamb rasta rice (Uncle ben briyani not for desi ) chicken parmesen full of oil and cheese on top was very bad quality ! Grilled 1/2 chicken it was just ok !

Me and my cousin came here and she found this twisted metal thing in her salad It actually pierced her cheek .. avoid this place .. disappointed

delivery was only slightly late which is fine but food was not hot and its due to the packaging used to transport deliveries, it doesn't retain heat. the pasta was fine but I got what I can only explain as a miniature single Garlic bread and no option to add extra when I was ordering in the first place. Will give it another go later. but so far this place is better to go in and eat at.

Ok, so when this was Manjaros, it was easily a 5-star spot. The food was hot, flavorful, with generous portions, great ambiance, and top-notch customer service. But now, since the rebrand, the quality has definitely dipped. Let's be real—you've murdered the Rasta Pasta! What you're serving now is more like "disasta pasta" And the lamb chops? Dry enough to double as coasters. And don't think we haven’t noticed the shrinking portion sizes either—those smaller deep bowls aren't fooling anyone! This used to be the go-to spot that I'd rave about to everyone, but now, not so much. What happened? Bring back Manjaros! 😔

Their sauce on the lamb chops is very very spicy to the point unbearable to normal taste buds

Ate here as staying at the ibis hotel in the Quay and was pretty unimpressed with the food and service. Our tables food was served with one pizza missing. Told it was coming. The pizza arrived nearly 10 minutes later with part of the dough squidgy and clearly not cooked properly. Clearly it had been forgotten and rushed the cooking of it. By the time it came back from the kitchen everyone else had pretty much finished their meal. Not worth the price for that level of service.

I was trying the call yo make a booking, I kept getting the call disconnected after it rings few times, I thought it was a connection issue and retried. Then they started opening the phone but not saying anything. I can hear the noise around and the workers talking to each others, but I was kept away on for few seconds before they end the call again. Disgusting and unprofessional behaviour. Won’t be stepping a foot in this place, and I’ll recommend for friends not to do that either.

Came here for my son's birthday food was very good service good nice friendly waiters will be back soon for sure

Chips were cold, chicken wings looked good but were bland and tasteless. Very disappointed as I had ordered from here before and the food was excellent.

Nobody deliver any thing for me. Even the driver did not call me . He is so bad . He should be punished.

If you want to wait forever on bang average food then come in. Waited 25 minutes for them to actually take our order. Then we waited 25 mins for food and they didn’t bring out 1 of the dishes. When we asked them for the dish they all sauntered about and brought it out 15 minutes later. No urgency, no care. Absolute joke.

So it's OK, nothing special. One thing I will never understand is why these posh expensive restaurants don't spend money in their toilets there were no toilet rolls and the state of toilets were disgusting food was average no salt what so ever I would go again but won't order the mix grill was bland . We paid £3 for 1 pita bread, which was super expensive

The second time I ate, but this time I felt a bit worse. I was placed at a table behind a pillar, but no waiter paid attention to it. I wanted to place an order, but no waiter paid attention. In the end, I had to move the chair outside the pillar and hand it to the waiter before the waiter looked at it. Arrived, after placing the order, the food was served without any cutlery. We found out that there were no cutlery until we asked. The food was okay. The salt and pepper chicken wings were a bit salty and the price was a bit expensive.

We went to eat believing it was the best there was in the area and the food was quite bad for us, very heavy and difficult to digest in general. The place is very clean but the service is not excellent either. In my opinion, it is also expensive for the quality

Went here for a quick bite to eat before going to see Paul smith at the hydro. Food was lovely, not too much of a wait and server's were good. Dont think they have an alcohol licence as none on offer, however want an issue for me as I was driving anyway

Tried the chicken Alfredo pasta omg highly recommended!! The cheese garlic bread was so fresh literally melting in the mouth absolutely love the food 😋

driver dropped my order as he got out the car. thinking I can't see him. he then drove off came back 5mins later with a different bag thinking he got away with it. health and safety I have made a complaint. Just lucky I caught him doing that

Had a lovely Alfredo in mushroom sauce was lovely couldn't finish it had loads on plate, guy server was very helpful and friendly, also got a strawberry mocktail and it was delicious. Deffo go back at some point 👍👍

Been coming here for years since the Manjaros days. Usually always order the same Chicken Parmesan. The standards in this place sadly have declined since Manjors left. Last night I ordered buffalo wings which were good but their signature burger was noticeably burnt. It had absolutely no flavour to it. The French fries were hard to eat. The onion rings crumbled on touching them. The salad was lettuce with balsamic. The pins colada was thin and very runny. Let's hope they get the standards back to where they used to be.

First of all, we made a reservation a week before, then 5 mins to our arrival we called to say we were on our way. We got to the restaurant and had to wait for another 10-15 mins for a table. Then we got to the table, it took a while for someone to come take the order. They took the order and went away and took so long before water and other drinks came. Maybe they were overwhelmed on the day. Food finally came and I hear from my friends that the lamb chops were fantastic. Portions are large so bear that in mind. I think if the service was a lot better they would have got a 4 star from me. Service is all part of the package. Would I come back...well yeah, at some point to at least try the lamb chops.

Used to be excellent but now the food is becoming weird. The portion have decreased and priced increased.

Went at 2:30pm and was fairly quiet, the staff were friendly and attentive. Foodwise... Big portions so ordered too much, nothing particularly special. We ordered mixed grill for 1 and a chicken parmesan (marinara) which came with chips and I didn't know so ordered a side of caramel onions topped chips to share.

Stunning meal in a stunning restaurant. The food took longer than usual to arrive but when it did it was full of flavour and tasted very fresh so was worth the wait. Already planning out next visit.

Had the best meal. Their grill dishes are amazing, the grilled chicken with sweet potato fries is a must and the halloumi fries are to die for! Staff is lovely and very attentive. Will definitely be back!

We visited a few days ago. Used to be one of our favourite places to eat, so much so, we travel from West Lothian to eat here. The new menu has seen two of our favourites gone from the menu (the Bolognese ciabatta which has been gone a while now and the large chicken wings in the signature sauce.) You'll wait a while for your food, but it is cooked fresh and served hot so, for me, the wait is acceptable. It's not the place to be if you want a quick bite to eat. It would be nice if staff checked in to offer more drinks while you wait. That said, staff are always lovely, polite and friendly. I've always had positive experiences with them, just need to be a little more hands on. On this last visit we had the starters - Bolognese bread, which was more like a pizza texture and tasted lovely, and the BBQ chicken wings. The chicken wings were small and disappointing, though the sauce was alright. Our mains - Signature burger - amazing. Medium rare meat, generous portion, with sides of onion rings and fries included. Rasta Pasta - was nice. But wasn't the signature dish I was expecting. The Rasta Pasta was also a firm favourite which we travelled for, but doesn't taste the same, as it once did. More of a spicy tomato now than the Caribbean jerk I was expecting. Perhaps a recipe change? It's a great place to go if you're local, and want to spend time with friends or family socialising, but due to the menu changes and our favourites being gone, it's not worth the 60 mile round trip, anymore for us. 😢 Maybe if we're in the area we'll pop in though.

Used to love this place loved the lamb chops and creamy Caribbean King prawns mixed grill and extra wings but since the menu change its absolutely horrible chicken wings think they belong to a chic and not a chicken the sauce on the prawns has completely changed and no sauce at all with thr mixed grill prices also went up but food portions and quality went down really bad no space on the table any more really miss the old menu and have never been back

Popped in here by chance early evening after being out all day. Lots of choice on menu. Pleasant staff. We ordered the burger with Dijon sauce and the chicken skewers. Waited a long time on food and had to ask a member of staff to chase it up however restaurant was very busy so kitchen was probably overwhelmed with lots of orders at once. Food was excellent (probably the nicest burger I've had) & husband enjoyed his chicken skewer with lovely fragrant rice. Had the sticky toffee pudding with ice cream after (one portion was plenty for 2 people) & that too was delicious. First visit but we will definitely be back.

I've been here twice recently, and we really enjoyed it! Good choice of food, even my fussy 11yo really liked it. We will be back.

Super over priced, taste was not the same as before like manjoras, they probably have new chef, very expensive, service is not good either, i would not go there again. They increase the price in new menu with downgraded the taste and quality of food

This place is amazing, food is absolutely delicious 😋 we had a selection of chicken, lamb, fajitas, chips, loaded chips, this was out of this world with flavour and tender chicken and melt in tour mouth lamb!!! Will be going back very soon!

Food arrived after 45min late... buffaloes wings cold chicken burger cold fires were missing we had to double check with the server and the reply was epic "YES THE BURGER DOES COME WITH THE FRIES LET ME CHECK WHAT HAPPENED TO THEM "...R U SERIOUS BROTHER THIS IS NOT HOW IT SHIULD BE EVERY TIME THE FOOD IS COLD.... ITS not the servers fault who ever is in the kitchen needs to take better control of it...(and stop shouting whid burger wahid chicken pasta)

Really disappointed 6 lamb chops on their own £16.95 advertises with signature sauce came bland and really thin hardly any meat, mentioned to the girl on the phone I’m really disappointed which she replied that’s fine and hung up. Such a waste of Money.

Been waiting more then 30min and the food was tasteless

Use to be good. But now they have dropped the quality and increased the stinginess with the sides. Aprox £4 for chips and now u must pay for the sauces which is a joke. Probs wont come here again One thing i want to advise is. Go back to the manjaros franchise And stay with their quality instead of building a customer base using the manjaros name for years then rebranding then dropping the quality.

Disappointed as have ordered here for years . Always order chicken Parmesan . Ordered today and for same price it now doesn’t come with fries . So it has been delivered and just one bit of chicken for same price as meal was before .

Food tasted okay, however overpriced for what it was. No sides with burgers? Really? Now, the service. Jesus, absolutely awful, we were sitting laughing with the family next to us about how terrible it was. Staff didn't talk to you, avoided eye contact, slammed plates down and didn't even take our starter plates away when mains came 😂😂 it was funny to be fair, but I'd recommend going to burger King across the road, this place isn't it. -Sunday 3rd This review reflects the service provided by 2 waitresses and our greeter at the door. Zero manager presence and service was totally disjointed. No clear allocation of roles, stations, sections etc. Low morale, moody faces, no manners.

Disappointed to find chips are now extra for the parmesans, whilst keeping the same price. This place is now far too expensive and doesn’t give value. I’ve basically just paid £26 for two chicken breasts and an afterthought of rocket, which I presume was the salad. Won’t be returning.

The food before was better. We went today and the food menu is changed . No chips or salad with the parmo meal. No sauce on tables anymore. They give you a little bit of sauce that you have order and now get charged for. Rather pay more for the over all meal but have it all as it once was. Killed the experience,Super disappointed wont be comming back here.

Chips and lamb chops first time order , both were very tasty and would have been perfect if they were not cold ! chops were luke warm and chips were cold and soggy, would only consider buying again if they had foil containers to keep the food warm!

they have increased the price of the food. certain meals , they have taken away the sides that used to come with it and makes us order it as an additional but haven't adjusted the price accordingly. not returning back to this place again just on the basis of principle. shame

Since the launch of the new menu the food quality has not been up to standard. I ordered the parmesan and it came 45 min late and was bland. You also now have to order chips separate from the mains which only adds to the cost. We paid for chicken wings for starters (£7.95!) and they were tiny portions. Sad to see a much loved place go down in quality. Won't be coming back

Okay. Initially when we left we were very impressed with the service and food. Little did I know we would be in for nearly 2 days of hell from food poisoning! We are here on Sat 3rd Feb. Surprisingly wasn't that busy. Place could do with a bit of cleaning but after the food poisoning saga will never return.

First visit today 4/2/24 for some lunch. Was pleasantly surprised. The food we had was Prawns and rice in a creamy Caribbean sauce, garlic bread with tandoori chicken to Start. Mains were cheese burger and a spicy chicken dish. Beautiful😍. Will be back. Staff serving us were all very pleasant.

Food was small portions for the price, it was just say warm when it turned up. I called the restaurant after placing my order to ask for a few adjustments as I forgot to add notes to the order, however these were not done when the food arrived so it was a wasted phone call.

Amazingly quick service, food very good

I entered the restaurant at 9:40 p.m. The restaurant was about to close for the day. Paul was the attendant who acknowledged me and was very warm indeed. I was the last person to leave the restaurant and he waited patiently without complaining. Really appreciate it !! Talking about the food I ordered Lamb Steak, grilled chicken wings and some prawns as an extra. Lamb steak wasn't the best I have tasted, but was average. The king prawns and grilled chicken wings were the game changer for me. It was bloody scrumptious. The fries, perfect and crisp. The ambience was something fantabulous. It really did feel lavish and well maintained. Overall I had a very good experience and will definitely look forward to visit them again.

Great Food , atmosphere and A1 customer service!

I had their pizza and coffee, these were very good indeed. Pizza was quite fresh and soft, and ingredients felt fresh,(though pizza had crushed green chillies which must not be the part of a pizza, Hope next time they won't put). Overall I find it quite good. Next time would try their peri chicken, let's see how that tastes! Ambience is obviously 5/5 A 12 inch pizza and a coffee, 15£ Good enough I guess.

Been here many times with family. A family orientated place with a pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff and good food. Large free parking space.

In all honesty this restaurant used to be pretty decent before they changed the branding i used to go sometimes with my family but after the name change we stopped going. We decided to go this week and wow the experience was completely and utterly rubbish. I completely didn’t enjoy any part of coming here and definitely recommend to stay away from this “restaurant”. We ordered a grilled chicken wrap. A chicken tikka loaded fries. Chicken wings. and a rasta rice. The wrap was extremely dry and there was little to no sauce inside. The loaded fries were mainly just covered in jalapeños instead of any chicken tikka. The rice had some raw chicken inside and the rice was extremely dry. The wings were also very burnt tasting and were very pink and slimey on the inside. Salad also tastes dry and old. Most definitely won’t be back here. We payed £50 for 3 people. The wings costed £8 which equals to £2 per single wing. Complete overpriced nonsense.

Fabulous food and would have given 5 stars but they need to get a liquor license. All other places to eat around here are fast food so was great to get a decent quality meal but a glass of wine would have been great.

Food really good however service was shocking. Hardly any customer interaction what so ever felt like u were kind of forgotten about. Hard to get the waiters attention and when you finally got his attention it was like he hardly acknowledged you kept walking as I was asking him for more drinks. Same waiter dropped a very sharp knife on the floor didn’t bother to pick it up was lying there for a good 10 minutes until I actually picked it up myself. No one asked if the food was ok or if there was any sauces that we needed etc. when it came to leaving I sat with my jacket on for a good 10 minutes waiting for someone to at least ask us if we would like the bill. Finally managed to get the waiter I previously mentioned and the same again no interaction just went and got the bill and then handed it to me and walked off. Said waiter was wearing black gloves and a ring on top of the gloves very hygienic!!!! Not!! Need to work on your customer service a bit more!

Food was excellent. Terrible service. No order pad used when taking order, so no surprises when 1/2 the order doesn't turn up. No condiments brought to table. I seen 4 members of staff and not 1 smile for the hour or so we where there. As I said, food was really really good, but the rest is a massive let down

Overly priced for food and by time had gotten home it was luke warm so had to reheat it. Maybe have better containers to keep it warm. Food wasn't checked before handing to myself as had missing items!

I loved the place for their service and atmosphere but not a great pick for a great food....we ordered atleast 5 main dishes and 4 starters and 3 sides... Which I liked most just 3 out of that.... Quantity wise it's so excellent but the menu is unsatisfied....we got the corner river view table which gives us excellent time together...... Not crowded... Still they served the starters at last after serving the main dishes and sides..

Had a meal here today with a friend. Was very impressed. The burger was soooooo tasty. If I come back to Glasgow will definitely visit again. Thanks

Foods penomenal only drawback is you cant have a pi t to wash it down but well worth trying it

We've been here about 5 times in the past 2 weeks, this place is a delight. Negative reviews about the toilets...who cares, you're here to eat. The food has been 10/10 every time.

Food was very cold and had to be binned as couldn't reheat it a shame as heard good things about this place too

Lacks atmosphere and staff ok but waited a long time for main course, restaurant needs a good clean, toilets shocking with one cubicle door missing and toilets not clean and hand dryer not working and no hand towels.
