Chaobaby in Sheffield

Esto ya no es Chaobaby, durante los últimos 3 meses ha sido Thaikun Street. No es un parche en Chaobaby, pero estábamos dentro antes de darnos cuenta. No hay mucha elección, y más como chino que tailandés. Tofu curry verde, sin carne o pescado curry, o más bien agua verde. Dedos de pescado, patatas fritas, aros de cebolla. No hay mucho personal de catering, tantas esperas cuando las cosas se acaban. Extremadamente decepcionado, no volveré, una pena.

It's no longer Chaobaby,why.is it being advertised as when it's not. The.name there is Thai something. I will stay away from that place. I used to like it for proper food not what I experienced when I got there on the 21st of April just today. Greatly disappointed 😞

This place is not a patch on Chao Baby, we used to come here regularly, now been taken over by Thaikhun. We sent back 6 plates of varying food…pork was lumps of fat, chicken was reformed, I had to spit it out, it was disgusting. Crispy chilli beef was just mince and vegetables. The pot with egg fried rice was empty.All the 3 noodle selections were gloopy and cold. Starters….chicken wings which were edible, chips?onion rings? And dried up spring rolls Tried the mixed seafood….god knows what was in it!, Horrid! I complained twice…the waitress said I will tell chef! The whole experience was disgusting, the food was rank…will never ever go back. Should have gone to Yo Sushi.

Absolutely shocking!!!! Booked a birthday dinner for family and shut 2hrs early when speaking to staff were rude and didn’t care would not recommend.

Sensational food with fantastic service for a low price. The drinks are very good and the food selection has something for everyone. The Tom Yum soup is the star of the visit with complex, beautiful flavours and a chilli tingle on the tongue. The Mrs and I LOVE this place. I recommend Chao Baby to everyone that i can.

This used to be my favourite place to eat in Meadowhall. The chicken curry soup used to be delicious. Unfortunately I don't know if the place has changed hands but it's not the same at all, the quality of food has dropped greatly. Sadly I won't be visiting again.

Great food, awful customer service. Booked a table, and was shown to one round the corner, down the side of the restaurant, and then forgot about. After waiting 15 minutes for somebody to come and take our drinks order, I went to the drinks area to order the drinks and was spoken too rudely by the person behind the bar as for some reason it seems it was my fault for nobody had come to take my drinks order. Finally got the drinks and then helped ourselves to the food, which I will say is excellent. As we were sat out of the way, being overlooked by everybody who walked past, felt like being in a zoo. Nobody collected our plates when we had finished with them, so ended up putting them on the empty tables so that we had space on the table. It wasn't until I had paid and left I noticed that on the receipt I had been charged a 20% gratuity, which was not pointed out to me at the time, and I certainly wouldn't have paid had it been. What this is for I have no idea as I had to order my own drinks, then serve my own food and tidy up after myself. If they want a tip they should ask, and my tip would be 'sort out your customer service'. Did receive a request to leave feedback, but the link doesn't work, no surprise there. Will not visit again

Always have a great experience here absolutely love the food. The staff are always very helpful. They will take their time to explain the dishes and ingredients. I will Definitely be dining here again

ChaoBaby Thai Buffet is a great place for Thai cuisine. The buffet offers a wide variety of dishes, from the spicy Tom Yum Soup to the iconic Thai curries. The staff were friendly and service was fast. We had a great night at the ChaoBaby, highly recommend!

The soup was really nice but most of the other food was cold. Odd experience as there was only 1 member of staff who seemed to know what she was doing (we ordered Thai teas and they had to fetch her off her break). We must have been sat next to a waiters friends as they just stood talking for ages. One of the staff also stood staring at everyone in the restraunt. Dressers were poor. Expected more fo the cost of.it.

The food was excellent and the bill was more than acceptable given that it is all you can eat, however that is not my only reason for a 5 star review. The staff here really did go above and beyond for me, I had left my shopping under my seat and didn’t realise until I was halfway home, on the other side of the A628. I phoned the restaurant and the gentleman I spoke to happened to know my area and was passing later that week and dropped my shopping off for me at my store. If that isn’t good customer service then I don’t know what is!? I was so grateful. Thank you for your delicious food and fabulous customer service 😊

The buffet has a small displayed variety of food however ,whatever you find is gonna be delicious,flavourful and well prepared.
