Great tasting food and delivered on time and hot

Good food , but forgot my pickle tray

The food was poor quality, very few prawns in starter which also smelt very strong of fish which it shouldn’t so we didn’t eat it at all, the biriani was over spiced not a nice flavour and lamb was chewy, the only thing edible was the greasy onion baji cold nan and korma sauce, when you add in service charge delivery charge etc it was an expensive and inedible meal. Would not recommend

Average sort of curry, quite pricey for a take away

I ordered for the first time here tonight and I can safely say it will be the only time I order from here! The curry (chicken tikka Bhuna) was full of water! Clearly topped the container up with water to make it a full portion! As for the Paratha it tasted like cleaning products!

Ordered food at 17:20 deilivery was estimated 18:40-19:00 that then changed to 18:50-19:10 then changed again to 19:10-19:20 at 19:24 it said food was delivered, it didn’t actually come u till 19:39 food was not upto usual standards, naan bread was so burnt it was black, we always order for here but this has really put us off

All the food was lovely but the murgh achare curry was far too salty to eat. I don't mind salt in my food but this was a mistake or something because this was inedible.

Very small portions and the curry sauces were very watered down. Don’t think we’ll order again sadly!

Food was tasty and hot. Was a little disappointed with how much chicken was in the tikka masala, it was like a soup of sauce and you had to search for the small bits of chicken, but it tastes good when you found them.

All food was at a good quality apart from the mango chutney that had started fermenting and going off not very nice while in the middle of your meal. But like I’ve said all other food was lovely.

It's a thumbs up from us. Delicious food. We had the set meal for two people and some other bits. Friendly driver and on time.

When placing an order the delivery time was stated to be 35-50 minutes. Once the order was confirmed it switched to 80-100 minutes. It actually arrived 115 minutes after we ordered.

Driver delivered the food to the wrong house. Was told this after 2 hours when they’d finally figured out what had happened. Person on the phone then told me “it’s not my problem”. Won’t be ordering again.

Ordered a saag aloo (for two) pilau rice, chicken pakoras & onion bhajis. All of it was Absolutely delicious! From the saag aloo to the pilau rice, best I’ve ever had. It’s a must try even for a side dish! Had my own parathas which go lovely with it. Mint sauce could do with being abit thicker but overall we LOVED this food. Thank you so much. I would say to anyone ordering on a weekend incase they’re busy order a hour or so beforehand. We had no issues tonight 10/10

Food was delivered around an hour late, was cold on arrival. Very disappointing,would probably have been nice food if fresh. Delivery driver offhand!!

the worst food, the worst service. excuse after excuse and finally arrived over an hour late, the food was cold and has made me extremely poorly.

I ordered food from them and on the menu it did not say that it contains vinegar but the cheesy chips was covered in vinegar and the rice was and my partner is highly allergic to vinegar and had a reaction. We contacted them to say this to get the food changed and they proceeded to cover it in vinegar again and then laugh at our faces when I went down to complaint

The food was over a hour late the staff told me lies as the delivery driver could not find me even tho I pin dropped my address to the correct location the owner of the restaurant said he was sorry my food never came to me!!!the restaurant manager said he was going to cook me fresh food because the driver didn’t find me and when it eventually arrived it was stone cold so I got cold food and told lies as well I was so hungry by the time it arrived I had to heat it up in th microwave shame really because it would of be very good if hot and with out the lies

Delivery time fantastic! Driver great... food horrendous! Masala was more of an onion oil not a garlic naan and the bahjis were cremated. Never again

Being late isn’t a problem for us

they delivered to hoodlands farm campsite to us and the food was amazing better than my local at home and was red hot and near enough hand delivered to my camper :)

The quality of the food has decreased incredibly over the past year. The prices increased and the portions decreased. I call up and ask them to put in the proper portion for prawns and it’s always the same. Only 3 or 4 prawns for one person. The meat portion is the same, only a few pieces of lamb. I’ve even called up to double check they put the right portions but they say they do and when it arrives it’s always the same. This has happened multiple times now. The quality isn’t as good as it used to be. Not worth the money and a waste of time. What a shame as it was one of the best takeaways that I use to recommend to everyone.

Have used both the curry places over the last month and this one easily beat it's competitor, the curry and sides just had more flavour , and nicer and cheaper too, even delivered before the estimated time .....thanks guys , I'm sure we will be ordering again soon enough

New to the area, we discovered this little gem called Bengal Spice. Meal was delivered before time, hot when it arrived and very tasty and fresh ingredients. Well worth the money. Will be ordering again. 👍👍👍👍👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Almost no meat in the curries. I had 4 pieces of chicken in total and my partner had 5. There was so much sauce it drowned everything else.

Ordered takeaway from here as a one off. We live in the Penistone area and our usual “go to” curry house only does pick up and I’d had a drink. Well. What can I say. The most vinegary god awful curries I’ve ever tasted. No idea what goes in these and what kind of taste buds local stocksbridge folk have who reviewed these on here - but awful. Binned all except the kebab starters. Never again.

Had their ups and downs over the years. Doner, poppadoms, mint sauce, biryani sauce not the best, but the actual curries themselves I've had recently has been great. Be warned- when they say it's hot, it's hot! That vegetable chilli garlic was lethal - and I enjoyed every last bit.

I have ordered before and always been happy but this time the mushroom rice was missing, the passanda was watery extremely bland and cold and the onion Bahji seemed hard and stale. The mixed keebab starter was the only saving grace.

Delicious mixed starter for two. Also excellent lamb bhuna & chicken tikka balti. Recommended
