Gone downhill massively . Make it look a decent size meal by it being 90% salad . What happened chao chao

I went here a couple of years ago and thought the food was fresh , tasty healthy and value for money . Last night , what a change . My Korean chicken donburi was mostly lettuce and grated carrot with a tiny bit of cubed chicken in some liquid . The box was bigger but there was less food and just spaces filled up with salad . What a shame

Lifeless, sad and expensive food. Don’t waste your time, there’s more flavour in a Pot Noodle. Left such a bad impression, I can’t even be bothered to meet the 100 minimum character count.

For me all the meat dishes very dry and cold , which for the amount of money it cost is very poor , now would I oreder agin ....NO, better places to try

Cold, tasteless inedible food, it has to be the worst takeaway I’ve ever tried to eat and the worst customer service. Their Asia crunchy salad was just grated cabbage and carrot with 6 edamame beans and two pieces of pepper. According to their website it should have pak Choi, red onion sesame seeds, I’m still looking for them. The salt and pepper chicken was rock hard and the pad Thai was bland cold congealed flat noodles, my 12 year old could have done better. I called the takeaway asking if I could return the food for a refund, I was told no they were too busy, £37.00 straight in the bin. So much for me not cooking on Mother’s Day Do yourself a favour avoid this place and go to the Giggling Squid in West Bridgford, one of the best Thai fusion meals I’ve ever had with amazing staff. tofu donburi bowl arrived cold and when opening the lid smelt so rancid it made me heave. It smelt as though it had been left to ferment in the sun - it was one of the worse smells I have experienced. I contacted the store who ignored me and never acknowledged nor responded. I have ordered from this branch atleast 8 times before as the food is usually good (for vegans) however consistently cold. We’ve since been ordering from west bridg Ford branch and paying more. Worth the money and the quality of food at this branch is way better.

Ordered 4 dishes for delivery which came fairly quickly and all tasted really good APART from the edamame beans which are detailed on the menu as being served in a chilli glaze dressing, I have had these before and they were delicious, however this time they came plain with no dressing or any flavouring at all, I emailed to question this as I couldn't get through by phone and received a reply saying they are no longer served that way, even though the menu states that they are and still does now, (more than a week since our order) which I did point out and the 'marketing department' were blamed!. It would have been better to admit the mistake and apologise rather than try and cover up and be dishonest to customers. Will not return or recommend.

We ordered Spare Ribs, Prawn Salt, Firecracker Chicken, Chow Mein and fries for £26. Clean premises, friendly service, decent portions, and very tasty. Good selection on menu also, will definitely visit again.

Me and my partner really enjoy the food. The main dishes are generous in size. The food is tasty. Their katsu curry, pad Thai and chicken donburi are very tasty.

Very tasty food, good vegetarian & vegan choice, menu set out helpfully with sections for eg light dishes, gluten free, spicy, and symbols for allergens. Watch out for the chillies though - the scale only goes up to 2 chillies, so one 🌶 is still quite 🔥!

I order from here all the time and me and my friends love it! There is a lot of different food to chose from so even my friend that is watching her weight can still eat here with us. The Donburi is my fave😍

4 chicken balls for £7.50 and 4 small triangles of prawn toast for £4.99 !!! We ordered £30 worth of food for two of us and we're not big eaters but we will have to find something else to eat after this!! Disgusted!

In times where we can only order takeaways, there is no need to get complacent. At least try and serve decent food. £4.95 for 4 x quarters of sesame prawn toast, which had obviously been deep fat fried but the oil wasn’t quite hot enough so it was dripping in grease and inedible. All for £1.24 a quarter!! The rice, possibly started off as rice 4 hours before it started boiling. What was served was white mush which came out of the carton in a solid brick. Again, inedible. ‘Dynamite Crispy Chilli Beef’.... hmmm.. not quite! Nothing crispy about it. The closest thing to beef I would describe it as a tough leather, in a soft sticky coating which tasted awful. Again inedible. People may be only allowed to order takeaways at the moment, but I would recommend a different takeaway than this!! Chao Chao - Chuck Out.

Great service. Order taken precisely by Zak, very attentive. Food really, really good. Best oriental take away we’ve had for a long time. Good vegetarian and vegan menu. Don’t feel compromised cos you don’t eat meat. LOVED it
