Yet again waiting forever for food!! Will never order again which is a shame as we used to love this takeaway

Had lovely food in the past, but last Saturdays food was a disappointment. Food arrived too quickly and wasn't piping hot. I had to put my chicken dish in the microwave to finish cooking the chicken, which was under cooked. Tried a little of the other dishes but to be honest, they all tasted very similar. I will not be using this establishment again.

Ordered at 6.30pm on just eat, Nothing arrived at 930 i rang to just ask for a update to be swear at and told i should put an extra hour on the just eat time! I told him to cancel my order ' tuff its getting boxed up now' 10.30 food arrives and i refuse it, The driver told us the owners have got new staff in to help and they are ruining the place won't ever order again

Took about 2 hour 20mins to arrive it was freezing found a massive bone in my duck it was burnt and dry my pancakes was stuck together couldn’t even eat one of them was disgraceful and the mans attitude on the phone was disgusting don’t no who he thinks he is

Never ordered from Chan's before but I would again. Food was early, hot and tasty - definitely recommend. Excellent prawn crackers btw!

Used To Love This Place! Over The Last 3 Months Its Not Been Great .. Chicken Is Like it's Been Warmed Up 3 Times And Rice Stodgy! Large Sauces e.g Curry/Gravy Used To Be Large .. Now Tiny And Over Priced.. Think I Will Change My Chinese Place In Future.

Food was okay; have used the restaurant quite a few times. Seems to have slipped this time.

Bad food. Very late. Awful attitude - aggressive and defensive. I know I sound like I have an axe to grind. I really don’t. Avoid this place.

Mistakes happen and that doesn’t warrant a bad review but this was something else. Late by 40 minutes. stone cold. Food tasteless. Before leaving a review tried calling them. Aggressive and horrid reaction. Honestly I genuinely almost always either say something nice or say nothing. This is possibly the worst food I’ve had and the most aggressive and defensive reactions I have seen. I have no axe to grind. This is simply advice to fellow consumers. Order somewhere else. Such a shame as there is every chance this was just a mistake handled badly.

Well what can I say, 27 quid on a meal, the duck was tough with bones, the sweet and sour chicken had no sauce delivered with it and the rest was just average at best, won't be using again

We have been ordering from chans for a while now and the food has always been great. However, the last 2 times we have ordered, we have had problems with our order. Last time, one of the dishes was clearly from the day before and we were told it would take an hour for the replacement. This time, we were sent an incorrect order and had to wait an hour and a half for them to send what we had ordered. Sad to say we won’t be ordering from here again.

Delivery and service were great however the food wasn’t he best. It was cold and tasted like it had been re heated, majority of it went into the bin.

Chans is my first choice if we want Chinese food. The food comes on time and tastes delicious.

Arrived slightly early which is a bonus. Not as hot as I would have liked, had to microwave it and the chips were a bit dry but the crispy beef, chow mein and spring rolls were delicious. Would go there again.

forgot prawn crackers we had paid for - rang back and spoke to a man who was incredibly rude and said they were busy ! no apology or anything. he then said u eat your prawn crackers after your meal anyway so it doesnt matter?- no idea what he was talking about!!!Shocking service.

On unpacking my order from here I noticed an item was missing. I contacted the shop and they did apologise and said my missing item would be delivered in approximately 10-15 minutes. 40 minutes later the missing item arrived cold and soggy. I don't normally write reviews but on this instance I felt I needed to. I thought I'd give this shop a second chance as this has happened to me in the past and yet again appalling. I won't be ordering from here again.

45 mins late, cold food and one main course was forgotten. They still charged me for delivery too.

After really looking forward to this Chinese delivery, myself and my friend were getting the food plated up when we noticed that 1. The food was really cold and 2. We had a can of coke missing from our order. After ringing and explaining that there was a can of coke missing we couldn't believe the disgusting attitude the delivery man had with us on the phone. Having a go at us and calling us 'mithering' when he was the one who had forgotten our coke. We had paid for it and expect far better customer service than that. It was dreadful, we will not be ordering from here again!

I’m not kidding I rang at 5 to 6 and it was here at quarter past after being told an hour, gorgeous food and speedy delivery!!

Awful. Only half order arrived. Called up said they couldn't do anything because they are busy. They will sort it next time if I order via the shop with cash. Shocking.

I placed an order online at half six asking for food to be delivered at half eight.... half nine and no food ring the restaurant 25 times and engaged constantly! No email, no call from them, nothing! Really disappointing because the food is usually lovely!

Fast delivery, polite delivery driver and really nice food.

I have a very mixed view of chans throughout the years but it seems to be ok at the moment. Used to order the chicken Kung po but they have changed it slightly and isn’t as nice now. Most other food is good. Delivery drivers are nice and friendly and it’s a shame they get it in the neck when food is late.

Delivery and service was fine, however, food was not great, the salt and pepper box was cold chewy with way too much batter, it did not taste fresh at all, the prawns were cooked to a cinder. I would not recommend his place.

Again food came late but i can`t fault food although this it just warm and soup was bit cooler this time.apart from that the food was great again that why i order from Chan`s

Food was awful. Ordered chicken and tomato and chicken and veg, both tasted vile. Even the smell put me off! It came in a tub kind of jellified as of it was left and reheated. Never again!!

Just a little late but worth the wait again the sweet& sour mixed balls/prawn crackers/chicken&sweet corn soup as never let me down but thought i have a change from chips and try the chicken & pineapple f/rice and was not disappointed great value and taste thanks

Food is really nice, duck rolls, kung po chicken, mixed chow me in, faultless. Unfortunately ordered 3 hours early to ensure it would be on time but it was late, blamed being busy but that is no excuse for something preordered. Portions are a little small an pricier than other Chinese around, no free rice or chips with mains and not even any free prawn crackers with a big late order.

I've been to Chan's a few times because it's local. This was easily the best. I've usually gone for the deal I think it's Tuesday and it's like eating left overs so avoid that. Order off of the main menu and it's actually quite good. Only issue was the mushrooms and carrots were full of water. No taste and very squishy

The food arrived earlier than expected which is always great but I ordered wontons and they never arrived but instead two bags of samosas when we only ordered one bag. disappointing not to get what we ordered. I would have preferred to wait a bit longer to receive the correct order.

despite some issue the food was very nice can`t fault the mixed sweet/sour mixed balls,soup was nice as were the min chicken rolls and prawn crackers.Did not enjoy the chips as they were wrong i think i had salt/pepper chips instead of normal chips so i did not eat them to spicy

Fabulous food, tasty and not at all greasy. You get plenty of food and it was cooked perfectly. Delivery was surprisingly quick for a Saturday night and the driver was very friendly. We have definitely found or new Chinese take away!

great duck rolls and the sweet and sour mixed balls were very nice and to hard nice and soft .fried mushrooms were just ok chips bit hard and no salt or vinegar on them.yes i would order again.Thanks

Sent out cold food that the driver had said he had, had it over 30 mins in his car, the restaurant were unhelpful and blamed just eat for the late food, this use to be a really good takeaway but has gone drastically down hill, big improvements needed

Ordered food at 7:45. Rang for an update on the progress of the food at 9:10 to be told it was on it's way with the diver. At 9:35 I called them again (as I live only a 9 minute dive away) to be told once again that it was on it's way. At 9:45 (2 HOURS after the order was placed) I rang them again to tell them not to bother delivering the order. The diver turned up at 10:00 with the food, I turned him away. I called Chans to let them know this and was called a f***ing tw@t!

Although the food was lovely the portions were very small, especially the salt and pepper chips. We ordered one portion for 2 people and there was nowhere near enough.

Ordered food 2 hours later never showed. Rang up company unapologetic blames just eat. Never had them before and never will again!

it charges 2£ delivery but asks you to add another 2£ in the menu for delivery, i cannot justify 4£ delivery at all, almost the same price as my meal.

Ordered at 7:31 and was given a delivery of 8:45.. Then it finally turned up at 9:25. No apology. So we sit down to eat and there's a soup missing?! This was a special occasion. Last time I order from here!

I'm not over impressed with our order, although it was fresh and tasty, the meat (pork) was really tough and chewy. And the salt and pepper box wasn't great either.

Completely ruined a treat. Only got one thing right in the order and the other two wrong I am very let down with this order and won't be ordering again. The woman we spoke to was rude and shouting at us on the phone.i used to order from here whenever I wanted Chinese food but I'm put off for life after the attitude and the poor food

I really wasn’t impressed with the food. It wasn’t particularly hot, the ribs were tough and chewy. The prawn crackers were stale, I ordered a 1.5L bottle of coke and got 1.25L. The chips weren’t hot either! It’s a shame because the order came very quickly and the delivery guy was polite and friendly!

Food was good but ordered duck and didn't get any hoison sauce or cucumber/spring onion - disappointing.

Good was alright nothing to brag about and the squid for £5 I'd expect to get an alright amount only got about 4 rings

Mostly delicious beef slightly over cooked but everything else was lovely
