Horrible food disgusting service they charged me for a dish and didn’t send it. Then continued to call me a liar. The food is disappointing and the service is disgraceful.

Have tried other Chinese takeaways but always come back to Chan! My fave! Only ordered via Just Eat this time as Chan’s website wasn’t loading. Prices inflated on Just Eat!!

after spending almost £100 on the order my whole family have been up all night with upset stomachs 2 of them have messed the beds.one of them being my wife. we will 100% not be using this place again.and i will be contacting just eat about this aswell

Worst Chinese/Thai I’ve ever had!! I was surprised how awful the food is. Avoid.

Worst Chinese ever! Absolutely tasteless…flavourless, I haven’t had Chinese in months and after this i wouldn’t be having it any time soon!! Really disappointed. Would have given it No star but unfortunately the options not available. Customer service is just as bad as the food! Don’t waist your time or money ordering from this place. Absolute let down both food and customer service.

Consistently great food and fast delivery.

Depending on the day is whether you get a good meal. This order on a Tuesday was delicious. So tasty. Couldn't fault it. But our most recent order on a Friday wasn't very nice at all. Maybe it's down to how busy they are, but either way we feel like we take a risk each time we order. They need to be more consistent in the quality of the food

Really enjoyed our chinese. Used to come here but then had a few dodgy orders so went elsewhere. Decided to try it again tonight and it was so good. We will definitely be back again

Awful food, at an expensive price. Tried once never again , the quarter duck was so dry I put most of it in the bin, also ordered roast duck with spring onion and ginger, all of the meat was fat and there wasn’t much of that for £6.90 £25 for food you would think twice to give to your dog.

Chips were a bit dry, but the rest was perfect.. best Chinese that we’ve found in the area

Love their food, great flavours. Ordered 2 special fried rice, 2 Singapore fried rice, chicken fried rice, beef in black bean sauce, chicken balls, Singapore noodles and chilli oil and my tastebuds were dancing. The family loved and enjoyed our meal!!

Took an hour to come and chicken was hard

Just had a mix meat chow main. Had 1 piece of chicken 1 piece of duck thats all and prawns for some reason. Chips were rock hard. Been using chan for years but not anymore poor quality and prices are to high for what you get.

Overall thought the meal was excellent and vfm. Will definitely use again! Review of telephone order / delivery. Ordered at 7pm on a Saturday as meal for two hungry adults, on recommendation of our son who had used this firm before. Lady who answered the phone did so very quickly and took our order with no problem. Cats payment seamless. Fried broccoli and garlic, squid in black bean sauce and mushroom chow mein, plus starter of 1/4 crispy duck, £26.50. We were promised 45 minute delivery and scooter with our order arrived outside our house - 3 miles from restaurant - on the dot with the usual big bag of pwawn cwackers thrown in! The main dishes were fine and vegetables were crispy and tasty. Apart from the mushrooms, which were meaty and lovely! Duck came ready shredded, with six pancakes, a container of shredded cucumber and spring onion, plus half a pot of sauce. There was plenty for three rolls each and although duck was not very crispy, and cucumber was a bit limp (maybe because it sat on top of the hot food for the journey?) it was still nice. Probably enough food for three adults really.

The app said it was delivered well before and we panicked as we thought it had been delivered to the wrong address. We called Chan and was assured it was on its way. The foo yung was way too salty and so was the pad thai. But the crispy duck and everything else was as usual very nice. But I wont be ordering foo yung or pad thai again from Chan.

Me and my daughter think this is the best Chinese takeaway we have ever tried. Every dish was perfect. Thanks for a lovely meal x

Food was lovely as always. I ordered via Just-eat, used a 25% off code, which was accepted - however when my order arrived, I was told they don't accept just-eat vouchers/codes and I had to pay the full price.

Over priced and over charged the cost that was advised when ordering, quantity of food was not very good disappointing, 😟

Consistently high quality food.

I think with this place it’s a bit hit and miss. Looking at previous reviews it’s completely mixed. I ordered for the first time via Just Eat and it came within the allotted time, infact it was very quick! It is expensive for what it is though I must admit but I ordered:- Crispy chilli shredded beef, egg fried rice and vegetable mini spring rolls. I must admit I was surprised and it was so nice!! And will definitely have this again! The veggie spring rolls were very nice and infact I could of had more lol. Size of rice was generous (I’d say one portion would serve 2 people). Also what came free were prawn crackers, and 3 pots of dips which is a nice touch.

This is just awful. Lets say there was nothing special about the special fried rice. Expensive for the area given the frankly poor quality of food. Tried once, won't again. Spare ribs are awful - Worst Chinese food I've ever had, period.

Had good food from chan's before but Whilst eating some ribs we found the last one wasnt cooked properly ruined the rest of our meal unfortunately so will try elsewhere in future

Great food, generous portions (I ordered way too much food!)

Chan's serves lovely food ... it's a hit in the Bexleyheath and Barnehurst areas. The people taking orders are very polite and delivery is prompt and free (if over a certain amount) (or you can pick it up yourselves). The salt and pepper chicken is too good. Their duck chow mien is always a hit in my house and the king prawns are fresh and succulent. The vegetable spring rolls are just as crispy and tasty as they are supposed to be.

I do use CHAN now and then and can say that Delivery guys and the lady taking orders are all very friendly. But the taste and quality of food is like a Russian roulette- you never know what you’ll get. I was so excited to get my dinner for tonight and got really disappointed when my duck dish had two very small pieces of meat and the rest was just duck skin. Veg very poor and overcooked. I’m not saying that I will never use them again, as they do make it nice sometimes, probably depends on the chef on shift, but I’ll give it some time for sure. The quality did put me off for a while

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I ordered a few things on the menu, chicken, soups, rice, wonton, fritters and it all tasted amazing. Very hot on delivery and the presentation was excellent too, no spillage. Food was delivered late rice and mains was ok but deep fried squid and salt and pepper prawns was so hard couldn’t eat them where it had dried out

Found raw chicken in our food which obviously put us off our entire meal and restraunt refused to refund the meal. They agreed the chicken was raw just to top it off. YUK !

Quite simply we've never had any issues with food from the Chan, it's very nice food and if delivered their pretty prompt.

Only thing I would change is the chicken curry had far too many onions in it and not enough chicken!

Unfortunately, one of the dishes was not what was ordered. The restaurant was very busy so our order was over half an hour late so didn't want to wait for order to be delivered again.

Food arrived early, delicious and piping hot. No criticisms at all except that the chow mein portion size seems a little on the small size. Maybe you could introduce a larger size. We’ll definitely order from here again.

Took an hour and a half to deliver 4 items 5 minutes down the road. When the food finally arrived, it was cold. Also, found a noodle in the salt and pepper squid. Won't be ordering from here again.
