As usual, a wonderful Sunday roast....No complaints whatsoever..

I've been twice now. Let's start with the service and the venue, both are outstanding. Welcoming, helpful owners, nice decor. Very good venue. I had one meal that I'd rate 5/5 and another that I'd rate 3/5 which is why I've gone down the middle. First of all, if you're going here, go Greek. Go meat, go humus, those kinds of things. Definitely get the mixed grill. Or the tuna steak. Oh, the garlic bread is as good as you can get anywhere. The mixed grill is a 5/5 plate of food. What you shouldn't get is the pizza. Now, I know they use a stone oven and I'm not saying the pizza is bad, not at all, it's just not on the level of other stone oven places or the other food in here. The pizza was not large, it was too crispy, it didn't have a proper edge and it was too perfectly shaped. The toppings were fine, don't get me wrong. But the impression I had of the pizza overall was as if it was an excellent supermarket pizza. That's not quite enough for 4 stars in a restaurant, especially in comparison to pizza I have given 4 stars to. To reiterate, the pizza is not bad, it's just not more than 3/5. And with such quality other food available at this place, you won't be spoiled for choice.

Have eaten here many times. Fish dishes feels like I am on holiday in Turkey beautifully grilled whole bone on Sea bream. The owner and his wife are so friendly so the service is always good.

Late review: Had Christmas dinner with work friends and could not fault the service and staff. They were incredibly accommodating and sweet throughout our time, even when we started quite late. I ordered the meatballs which were delicious and the lamb shank as mains but felt a bit lacklustre so was a let down. Everyone else enjoyed their meal: some ordered pasta or grills. Restaurant is quaint and warm, a place to go with friends. Would recommend and be happy to come back again.

Beware - oat latte cost me £4.25!!! I got a takeaway coffee here which I waited 10 mins for. Totally shocked by the extortionate price of a small and mediocre coffee. Disappointing as had high expectations for this place.

This was our first time dining at Chambers. We met friends for lunch. The food was absolutely delicious and everyone was very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was great. We will definitely be back. Thank you!

Went back for a second time for lunch today - staff are beyond friendly and helpful. Super accommodating and both times made space for my nephew in his wheelchair making sure we had sufficient space etc. Will be back.

The food was okay but a roast with a drop of gravy was everything tasteless the Yorkshire pudding a dry bun

Arrived for lunch, waited 40mins for food to find frozen inside, mentioned to staff who was very rude and aggressive and smelt of alcohol. Avoid.

A cute cosy restaurant with tasty food. We came for a casual sunday lunch and shared two paninis. Both were delicious, and very generous, with lots of fillings and a good portion of chips and salad on the side. The panini bread was very nice and fluffy, and the salad had a really nice light and zingy dressing.

We went in for a cup of tea and had a wonderful response from the team that we stayed for cocktails! What a wonderful restaurant with warm, friendly and fun family atmosphere. We can't wait to come back. The best espresso martinis in East London!

I went to the restaurant and ate pizza. I liked it so much. I have never eaten such a delicious pizza anywhere. You should definitely try it, chefs. Very good owner very caring and sweet😍

Nice food, well presented, friendly staff, decent location for a people watch. Pricey for quick late breakfast/lunch stop...Nearly 50 quid for 2 omelettes and tea, but, this is the NEW HACKNEY now not the 80s!! so willing to oblige once in a while!

Family run cafe/restaurant simple dishes caters to all. Just had drinks and desserts and all was great. I love the owners nothing is a problem for them good hard working people 👍👍 Update went for dinner last night, everything as good as ever Lovely Rib-Eye Steak and Kleftico for my wife

absolutely fabulous place - staff couldn't have been more welcoming, kind and attentive. the food was absolutely delicious. sun was shining so sat outside, and so kind to our dogs

I definitely couldn't leave this one without a review. My partner and I went there for a late night dinner and we left surprised! The atmosphere is as lovely and vintage as it can be (looks like it came out of an 80's movie 👀), the staff is very friendly and kind and the food is delicious. The menu is extensive and has plenty of dishes for all kinds of tastes. I recommend if you're looking for an affordable place to have good memories and enjoy the vibes. Will visit again!

The Chambers was highly recommended and I met a friend there. The staff are instantly friendly and warm. We chose from a huge menu and the food was cooked quickly and perfectly. The restaurant was continually busy through the afternoon and we were always looked after

I ordered a 'fresh pasta' from the menu and was served noodles! Price was extremely high, in fact the most expensive pasta I ever had (£20).

The food was ok but the lady at front of the house was quite sneaky. Came to the table towards the end of the meal to ask whether I’d like a refill of my coffee, and before I could answer, just took my cup away. I ended up paying twice (£8.50) for chai latte from a poorly mixed instant powder!

Was at the restuarant yesterday for my birthday they know me and my family well as we are in their alot for birthday meals and things and will hopefully be returning for new years eve this year the birthday belly dancing and music is fun and makes the atmosphere more lively and entertaining its certainly very unique love chambers and i totally recommend it

It was delivered really quickly for a fresh roast so Veg was undercooked, not enough gravy so everything was dry there was no salt or seasoning on anything & I have heard some great things about this place so I am extremely disappointed and it was no where near worth over £20

very underwhelming. Ordered lamb kofta and Mediterranean rice which was basically just boiled rice. First restaurant i have been to where a) had to ask for some water and b) was charged 9 pounds for it!!!!!. Apparently was a mistake when we queried it, was only 4 pounds 50!

Prices inflated compared to attending in-person, only 2 potatoes and 1 serving of stuffing, roast was packed with Broccoli which I requested to not include. Arrived very cold. too expensive for what it was.

Excellent neighbourhood spot that falls somewhere between restaurant and fancy cafe. The menu is long & full of choices, drink options fair, pricey but fair for a spoil 💕👑 Staff is helpful and nice, and ensured we were happy and food was satisfying. I have been here yesterday with my friends and the food is lovely. I ordered chicken skewers which was very tasty. My friend ordered moussaka and she said it was also good. The owner is a very friendly lady, felt like being in a Mediterranean country! Will definitely come back again!

A great little restaurant on the edge of Victoria Park. Fantastic wide selection of mediterranean food at reasonable prices. Most food is home made and they make the best tzatziki ever! I've been there a number of times and have never had a bad meal. The staff are really friendly and the service is excellent. Would recommend it!!

I just want to thank the lady manager from Chambers who comforted me & tried to help me find my mobile phone which I left on a bench just near them , I left my partner's phone number with her then went over to the Ice cream parlour and got it back , some wonderful person handed it in to them, she was so lovely to me , I will get her name and add it to this soon ok? Really lovely people 😊 💕

Had a lovely scrambled egg and salmon breakfast. Our waitress was full of energy and very accommodating. Its in a lovely location with indoor and outdoor seating.

Went to eat at Il Parco today (25th March 2023) and the owner of chambers (part owner of Il Parco) came to my table once i had paid for my meal i had with my son and told us that we were banned from Chambers and Il Parco due to writting reviews about my experience at Chambers. Thought that was rude and not a valid reason for banning me. Anyway, will be sad not to go back to Il Parco and personally think the owner of Chambers has some serious issues. Lets just say I won't miss Chambers!!!! Previous review: Ordered some food over the phone for collection. When going to collect the food a nice lady behind the bar was ready to take payment as our food was ready upon our arrival. Whilst standing at the bar whilst the lady entered the amount into the card machine, a blond waitress approached the till area saying move! Go sit down! The lady that was about to take the payment from us explained this to the blond girl, however the blonde girl was adimit that we sat down and "moved" out her way. VERY RUDE BLOND GIRL!!! NO RESPECT FOR PAYING CUSTOMERS!!!! another waitress approached me as I was leaving and apologised for the blond girls disrectful behaviour and attitude! Food was good though 👍👍

Such a shame that the price of the food now really doesn’t match the quality at all. I’m sorry to say that the Sunday roast is no better than a cheap local cafe, frozen potatoes, awful pre packaged meat, terrible thick tasteless gravy, hard vegetables. Been coming here for many years but not any more. Last dinner I had I had to complain as potatoes were brown in the middle and tasted awful. Was offered a free dessert!? The prices are in my opinion extortionate for the quality you receive. I don’t mind paying if it’s decent. I’m afraid the “Victoria Village “ rubbish has clouded some local businesses mindset into thinking oh we can charge what we want. Ok well at least serve decent quality food? Also very hit and miss, maybe there’s a problem with the chefs? Very disappointing as it could be so much better.

You can always find me in this restaurant! The food is delicious and the staff really are amazing. They have a family vibe and always welcome us in with big smiles. They even bring lots of toys/ crayons for our little boy which keeps him entertained. Love it here and would really recommend.

Went here for a Valentine's Day meal. Very friendly staff and the food was really tasty. It's not the cheapest place so it will only be for special occasions for us but it's definitely worth it if you want a nice quality Italian meal. The image provided was just starters as I must've been enjoying the main of Wild Boar Ragu so much I forgot to take a picture.

The food is of worse quality but much more expensive than McDonald’s. Sorry this is not at all Mediterranean cuisine. £15 burger is basically a small bun with beef meat and slice of cheese. No pickled cucumber, no tomato, no salad, no onion and no sauce. Come on! The service seemed OK though.

Went in January, been many times, food is always good, service is good, wine is good, but on this visit we sat inside because it was cold outside, sadly it was too cold inside, everyone had to keep coats on. Spoiled at nice meal

Had my first ever Sunday roast here, and it was delicious! I got the lamb Sunday roast. Meat was tender and flavorful. For dessert I had the banoffee pie, which was really good as well. Will be back for sure!

Lovely place to eat for a Saturday brunch with the family - who would have thought you could eat outside in November ! As the weather was perfect Friendly staff, good service, we all had a full English and what an amazing Full English with perfect poached eggs. Hope to visit again

We had a wonderful lunch at Chambers yesterday. A rare family get together to spend quality time! Our host (the loveliest lady!) made it so relaxing and couldn't do enough for us. We felt so chilled and my little boy could walk/crawl around no problem... The food was delicious and cooked perfectly and the service was everything we could have asked for. They even cleaned up my little boys bib and spoons. ❤️ Thank you for making our afternoon one to remember!

Of the dozen or so Michelin distinction restaurants we've been to in the last few months this was one of the best. The black sea bass, ricotta cavatelli, even the cauliflower were all excellent. The two cocktails, Continental Baths and Forsyth were very good. The service was very good, but we had too many different people attending to our table all rushing around. The sommelier was very competent and made a nice suggestion on the wine. The room that the restaurant is in was pleasant, modern but comfortable, and the tables nicely spaced apart. There is limited seating so, reservations are hard to come by.
