Popped in this morning, while waiting for my car to be repaired. I ordered a large Breakfast, It really was large, and ridiculously great value. Freshly cooked by a lovely lady, who even managed to have a chat while still whizzing around cooking and tidying. A proper working Cafe with the atmosphere to match. Super. I live 9 miles away, but I'll definitely visit again.

I ordered two breakfasts to take away for me and my daughter, once home I noticed the sausages had obviously been reheated, the bacon was appalling and all ingredients used were the cheapest they could possibly source. The breakfasts were only like warm at best and the smell of them meant that rather then being put on a plate they went straight into the dustbin, I woll never use this place again

Ir a tratar yourselfs.

I have just visited this place this morning and its was noithing short of disgtusting!!! I asked for a Bacon and Mushroom sandwich and they actually had the mushrooms in a deep fat fryer. Talk about a grease sandwich. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE.

It is over a year since I first visited the Chamberlain Café and am glad to say that its enjoyable cuisine has been maintained. This time I had a takeaway of freshly made sandwiches - very good value for money. Although my visit was outside normal lunchtime hours, it was busy.

The food is lovely. We have only ever ordered the breakfast when we visit but we have seen the other meals available and they also look good. Even though this is situated on an industrial site, just off Chamberlain Road. ( the old driving school site) it doesn't just attract workers. People, young and older visit. Recently been taken over by a new owner but the lady has worked there herself for a few years, so knows her customers. Open 7 days a week. Great staff and a very friendly atmosphere. Highly Recommended!

Apparently, this café has slightly changed location within the Biz Space Industrial Estate and also is under new management. The interior is smallish with around 20 covers but this is because they have both a take-away and delivery service. It is popular – this is no wonder as the menu is quite wide ranging in the British-style. Portions are generous and are very good value as are the hot drinks.

Lovely old pub right on the Humber. Ordered the homemade steak pie and chips. Wow, the portion was enormous. The steak pie was the best I've eaten in nearly 40 years, since my granny died. The shortcrust pastry was beautiful and it was packed full of delicious tender steak. It came with a gravy boat full of gravy. I had to leave most of the chips as I was so full with the pie. My friend had the homemade lasagne which she said was delicious too. The service was excellent. Friendly and quick. Definitely worth a visit.

We went to the Newland Avenue Steakhouse as a pre early mothers day dinner. We went around 5pm and it was busier than expected, the restaurant was full and too many tables squeezed in on top of each other. Service was good but the girls and food and drinks arrived fairly quickly with a nice recommendation on the wine. The ribeye steak ordered for my mum was nice, cooked ans taste well. The fillet steak was disappointing, arrived all chopped up and over cooked so I doubt I would order this again. Kids menu was very poor, I ended up buying a amin burger meal which my daughter wouldn't eat as it was full of herbs and spice. It would be much better if the restaurant could offer small portion of steak/chips like other restaurants or most varied options. Overall it was reasonable value for money but could have been much better.

Love this takeaway although a little disappointed with the kids meal portion sizes, changed boxes and the meal is very minimal for the cost.
