Really busy but staff lovely and food quick and tasty Small selection but something for everyone Milkshakes were gorgeous

Been on holiday for a week in Scarborough and used this cafe lots of times. Always had a lovely friendly service, food is lovely. Reasonably prices for a sea front cafe. Great coffee and lovely whippy ice cream

Good position, great views. Staff were lovely and friendly. Service was very good and quick. Blueberry muffin was delicious. Blankets on the chairs were a welcome addition in this unpredictable British weather. Worth a visit.

Stopped for breakfast with my daughter this morning during our walk. Amazing sausage and egg sandwich, cooked to order, plenty of sausage and the egg was cooked just right. We've been meaning to go for ages and will definitely be visiting again.

New owners since November and what can I say the food is absolutely amazing. Best tomato soup ever and the macaroni cheese with bacon a taste of heaven. Absolutely amazing hot chocolates too well done guys. Unfortunately always forget to take a picture of the food

Lovely cafe with a great view over the beach. Reasonable prices and friendly staff. Good range of breakfast butties and sweet treats.

As a regular patron of the Chalet Cafe I can only give praise. The new family owners are a credit to their business. Staff are very friendly, the updated building, food and service are all excellent, 5 star from me ☆

Highly recommend this place. Today we enjoyed delicious home made cakes and warming drinks. The service is so friendly!

No better way to start the day than a walk on the beach and a stop for a perfectly cooked bacon butty on a very soft white bap. Our Labrador is more than welcome she gets treats and a sausage and you can relax overlooking the beach. We always come back here every time we stay in Scarborough and its consistently good.

God awful slop served by a psycho nutnut that needs mental evaluation. With so many good food outlets just avoid this one, Lord knows how he's lasted more than a week. An embarrassment to Scarborough Council.

Chef, rude aggressive, swearing at us, all over asking for our peas we'd paid for with the till assistant. Scared the hell out of my daughter, threatened my hubby. The food was in fact disgusting.

The staff were very rude. The man had a face like thunder. No sauce for the ice creams and there was no mask or glove wearing! Very bad customer service

I love this little cafe! Cute and colourful with friendly staff and fabulous views. A very tasty bacon and mushroom sarnie went down a treat. They were happy to make me a green tea in my flask to take away. Great spot to sit and watch the waves.

Great little place on the northbay beach food was fantastic and the icecreams Would definitely visit again when in the area

After a walk came here for a cup of tea and was a good cuppa then decided to have wippy ice cream each which was really nice

Great location on the beach, friendly staff, reasonably priced breakfast menu and really great sausage sandwiches.

Staff friendly, good food, all Covid safe & limited numbers allowed & monitored properly.Also good location.

Cheap & cheerful.Beachfront takeaway & outdoor tables. Tasty bacon baps.Also serve burgers & freshly fried chips but we will have to try those on another occasion. Icecreams are also available & hot or cold drinks.
