Chai Thali in Hammersmith and Fulham

Biased Staff..............! One denies the availability of a menu item ,another say yes. Not so Hospitable ,Won't visit again.

Plus points: - nice and cozy restaurant, - friendly staff, - tasty food, nicely served. Minus points: - value for money is not good. - too expensive compared to other Indian restaurants. - the extra 12.5 % "service charge" to the bill is a bit of a disappointment.

Really good choice of Indian starters mains and some very delicious desserts . I found this place through groupon and it’s a really friendly vibrant restaurant in Fulham . The waiter was really welcoming and the food was really well presented and was super tasty

One of the most authentic Indian restaurants in London. Delicious food. The team are very accommodating and will bespoke the spice levels on request Plenty of Vegetarian options . Very friendly and quick service. Highly recommended!

Accueil sympathique, cadre agréable, plats délicieux ! Attention toutefois, même si ce n'est pas mentionné "épicé", les plats le sont malgré tout... légèrement.... Belle expérience !

A hidden gem 💎 in Wandsworth Bridge Road (sw6) . Food is great, service was amazing, drinks 🍸 😋 were in offers and loads to choose from. Authentic Indian cuisine in London. Best one I have been so far.

i must say the portion size is very good, the food was nice and hot, we liked the atmosphere and everyone is generally smiling this is the 2nd time i have been here now so felt abliged to leave a nice review.

Great little under-rated gem of an Indian restaurant in the Fulham area! We went there for dinner. Ordered 3 different appetizers from Kebabs, to chats and 3 different main dishes and a couple of different breads. Everything was fantastic - we were left licking our fingers! We did go there after a day of 6-8 miles of walking and were famished! The drinks/bottles are reasonably priced, staff is helpful and courteous. Highly recommended!!

Friendly attentive staff, lovely food a great find. We were staying at a hotel close by and decided to give this restaurant a try, we weren’t disappointed, very tasty food!

I love tapas Thali,s the Indian equivalent of this I have found hit & miss over the years. I had relatives visiting from the USA who are big fans of Thalis I just couldn’t confidently recommend one. Thankfully I found this little gem my first time here I must say very good. The food was great you have a good choice of the Thalis veg or non veg if you finish it all you done well the portions are generous. Price point I am sure you will agree great value for the quality & portion size. Everything can’t be perfect the started menu be careful the Thalis is filling. I would only point out 2 things for improvement calamari was underwhelming & out of place on the menu also big one is popadoms where maybe bought in they should be replaced to a better quality. The restaurant is super inviting. The owner is the sweetest man, always smiling. The food is just as good as the welcome with amazing flavors and more than enough quantities. Let s just say you won’t be hungry after eating there!

A fantastic Indian restaurant with superb service. Everyone who works there is so friendly and welcoming. The food is delicious and there are so many options for vegetarians! I would strongly recommend!!

Fantastic little Indian. The food was well presented, good portions for the price and for sharing and very tasty! Deserves to be busier than it was when we went.

We had a meal here a few days ago. The service was excellent . We enjoyed the small plates menu Especially a lovely potato yogurt dish and a tandoori style paneer with salad. This is not the standard Indian restaurant but it does serve interesting variants of street food.Certainly worth a visit.

Visited in October. The place was empty but we had booked in advance as we had driven past and seen it busy before. Service was o and having ordered our food came very quickly. Everything we ordered was eatable and tasty so no complaints.

Appalling - we ordered & paid, & 20 minutes later, our order was cancelled for no apparent reason. Only when we complained were we given some spurious nonsense about the lack of a driver (on an order which had been paid for & confirmed). Avoid.

I actually mistakenly found Chai Thali as I misread the name as Thai. Once I was greeted and shown to my table my the very helpful waitress and was surprised to see it was Indian food however I was interested in trying something new A flute of Bottega Gold and a side plate of Lamb Ki Chaampe (Lamb Chops) were the perfect snacks while I was waiting for my friend to finish from her appointment next door which gave me amples of time to write this review. P.S: I ordered poppadoms to top it off and they were just as good.

Wonderful food every time from a varied menu. Staff are friendly and attentive. Nice atmosphere. Cool decor.

We found clay oven pieces in naan bread. manager is rude, stubborn and did not apologize.bad service

Delicious food, and good portions. Wide variety of choice from the menu. You are required to sign in and have your temperature taken upon arrival, which is very good. Staff are friendly and always happy to help. They were all wearing masks and gloves. Place is very clean and tidy. Very recommended, and we will be going back again soon

My family, some of whom are vegetarians, visit this restaurant frequently. The Indian dishes are varied and excellent and the lamb in my lamb gosh actually did NOT have any gristle in it. A delicious non-alcoholic cocktail, perfectly cooked rice, with speedy and efficient service....

Not normally one for curries, but I've become a regular at Chai Thali on Wandsworth Bridge Road. The food is excellent, as are the staff. Try the lamb/ chicken saag!

This is a great addition to the area. The food and service were both excellent and I look forward to going back.

We had a lovely meal at Chai Thali. The portions were big and each dish was probably good for 2 people. The only reason I haven’t given a 5 star rating is that we were charged £4 for a small bottle of Sprite! I think...

Highly recommend this restaurant, Excellent value, delicious curries served with super friendly service.....could almost be homemade Very relaxed style - ideal for takeouts/takeways - a perfect addition for Wandsworth Bridge Rd
