Pick & Cheese is the most delightful experience. They serve a broad range of different cheeses (and some plates of pickles and charcuterie), each paired in an interesting way with a small accompaniment - sometimes a relish, a jam, some salted almonds or even some cake. The plates roll past you on a slow moving conveyor belt and you help yourself when you spot something you like. We had a gorgeous lunch with a nice bottle of wine, all at a reasonable cost.

The concept really sells it, but, like… if you’re not a big fancy cheese guy it’s not really for you? I’m glad I went, but when is someone gonna make a cheese shop that’s… whatever is in those cheese tubs at Fuddruckers? I still don’t get cheese pairings but I did really like several of the cheeses and, crucially, the blue cheese with the kimchi is the first blue cheese I’ve ‘ever’ liked (I got it cause I love me done kimchi!)

As someone who’s interested in learning more about + trying new cheeses, but not wanting to spend a ton of money on cheeses that I may or may not like I love this concept! You get an hour to eat as many plates as you want. They also give you a menu that explains the plates and that you can take notes on. It is, obviously a lot of cheese, so come prepared for that. The cheeses are all paired with a small side bite, like a bit of jam, relish, or a sweet. You also get a little thing of crackers. I’m not sure if I chose poorly or if the cheeses here just tended to be a little to smokey for my taste, but sadly I did not find a new favorite cheese from the experience. But I DID accomplish my goal of trying a lot of new cheeses for a price that was way less than it would have been trying all of them at my local grocery store! I do kinda wish there had been a cheese for beginners key to help explain some of the different kinds a bit more. It was also a bit hard to see the numbers on the little tags till they got close: which is a bit of a challenge when you’re trying to read descriptions as the plates approach. Very much enjoyed, would recommend.

Safe to say, I love a good buffet. This place is no exception. It appears that the buffet is only Wednesdays, and to get a reservation at a decent time, I had to book about 2 months in advance, but it was definitely worth the wait. A conveyer belt of cheese for £28 per person may seem a bit steep, but as long as you can eat a good ammount of quality cheese in you within 75 minutes you'll more than get you money's worth. Two of us went, and they presented us with a checklist of items on the belt so we could keep track of which ones we tried and had an idea of what to expect from each. They had a very good selection, and there's just something about choosing cheese from a conveyer lineup like its a runway that makes it all the much better. Can't speak for the regular plates and dishes, but the buffet is definitely worth it for the cheesiest among us. Buffet also comes with free crackers (with refills) They will add a service charge to the bill, but they were happy to remove it for me when asked (nothing to do with the staffing but just generally against service charges)

Being somewhat a fan of cheese this place has been on my "Must Visit" list for a while. Located inside Seven Dials Market, it should definitely be a port of call for anyone who enjoys their cheese. Was seen by friendly and attentive staff, my only difficulty was trying to decide which cheese to have as they all sounded delicious! The pairings are inspired and wonderfully complement the cheeses. I definitely look forward to visiting again next time I am in London.

Not Sushi! But cheese. Brilliant idea in a unique location and atmosphere. We tried a few dishes and I was impressed with the wiped goat cheese doughnut. It is a bit pricey but I would like to go back one day to try one of their grilled cheese sandwiches. The staff is great at bringing crackers when you run out and checking on drinks. Even though it is super busy, they're on top of it. The cheese was great, and I loved how you could read about each one with their thorough menu. The cheeses also had great accompaniments like chutneys, breads, and sweets. I wish I had a bigger party so we could share--I was only able to tackle five plates before I was too stuffed. I would highly recommend Pick and Cheese for a fun and unique experience.

Funny concept from sushi places. Delivering cheese through the belt and getting the price through the color of the plates. There is nothing really to complain about as everything is quite organized and it seems fresh. It was slightly expensive for the amount but where they really lost points was with the lack of bread (we asked for it but apparently sold out)... how much cheese can one eat without bread...

The staff were great and the cheese was delicious. Unfortunately the noise in the open plan space was extremely loud and there was some awful thumping music playing that it made it quite an unpleasant experience. I was checking the place out before gifting vouchers to a friend, but they use hearing aids so I don't think it's suitable. The bar stool was built for tall people, with a footrest too low to use without sitting on the edge of the stool the whole time. It's a shame because the concept is cool and I do love cheese, but I couldn't bear to go again and there's no point taking a friend, you'd never manage a conversation. They have other restaurants but I'm not sure I'd risk them as you pay a deposit at booking--which is why I stayed this time otherwise I would have gone when I heard the din. Maybe that's why they charge a deposit. The staff member I asked to turn the music down was very apologetic, I don't think it's very pleasant for them either. It's a shame one business is allowed to have such an effect on the other restaurants sharing that open plan space. Do check your bill carefully. They tried to charge me for a red (pricy) plate that I didn't have. They took it off the bill immediately when I pointed it out, but you have to be so careful as once they take the plates away to count them up, you don't haven't evidence to remind you or them of what you ate.

This isn't really a restaurant you'd get a meal from. I feel it's more of a tapas joint. Have a beer, enjoy a selection of cheeses in a fun atmosphere. They had over 20 cheeses on the belt. Many were very strong brie or bleu. Some were very good, many weren't something I'd want a second helping of. I was a little disappointed at the lack of cheddars and hard cheeses. As an American, we devour UK costal cheddars and farmer cheeses with the crystals and salty rinds. To try them all is a feat, even split between two people, because cheese is very filling. We went on a bottomless plates day and I'm glad we did. Trying all the cheeses today would have been north of L100 on a normal day.

A really fun idea to choose your own cheese in the style of Yo Sushi with fabulous British produce being showcased. A wide variety of cheese with a few meats and some sweet treats too all listed on a numbered menu. Service was attentive and fresh crackers were offered when we ran out. The conveyor belt was regularly replenished so you didn't have to wait long for your chosen cheese to arrive. My favourite was the creamy cheese with truffle. We thought the wine carafe was overpriced at £26 for 500ml but it was a lovely (English?) white wine even so. Go if you can and enjoy the buzz of the Seven Dials Market whilst you are there!

Came at about 4-5pm on a Thursday afternoon. Was seated promptly at the far end of the bar near the cashier by a friendly server. The bag/coat hooks underneath the bartop was a life-saver as there was practically nowhere to put your bags. However, a few seconds after I was seated and was looking through the menu, I was asked by another server to change seats to make room for a family of 4 (2 adults, 1 child and a baby in a pram). I was moved next to a couple, where there's practically no space at all between them and a concrete divider underneath the bartop. So I asked to be moved to another seat, which looked more spacious. The server didn't seem too happy about my request but obliged in the end. This would seem a small matter, but I felt a little discriminated as a solo Asian lady diner. There was actually plenty of empty seats all around the bar and they could've seated the family in another spot. There's a need to mention the bar chairs are fixed and cushion is so rounded that you'd feel as if your butt was sliding off behind all the time. It was very uncomfortable to sit in. Food made up for these unplesantries though. Tried 2 cheeses and was pretty delighted by how good they tasted with the accompaniments.

Cheese lovers and lovers, this place is heaven for you. The idea of the restaurant is very beautiful and unique. A restaurant specializing in cheese only. All you have to do is sit at the table and a variety of cheese dishes pass in front of you. Each dish has its own price for the type of cheese in that dish, and you simply choose and withdraw what you want and enjoy it. Reservations are required. To be honest, we came without a reservation, made a drama and postponed it, and they only allowed two people to sit. Take into account that weekends, holidays, summer and winter days will be crowded, so it is safer for you to book. It is absolutely worth a visit for anyone who loves cheese. The store is located inside the Seven Dials complex, close to Covent Garden. Prices: a little high (depending on the type of cheese)

Truly a wonderful experience. My mother and I went on a Wednesday (all you can eat cheese), and the manager was incredibly kind and considerate when helping us. I had accidentally made a reservation for a date a month later, but he managed to find a time slot later in the evening for us from a previous cancellation. We went for dinner at 6, and it was packed. We were initially worried because there were very few plates going around the conveyor belt, but soon more was added. In all, we were able to try 1 of every cheese. The portion sized of the slices was perfect. The pairings were fun and inventive, and some seemed almost spooky (brownies and bleu cheese?!) but they were always perfect. Service was great as the staff came round to make sure that we were able to try everything we wanted to sample. If you like cheese, this is a required visit. Nice atmosphere and plenty of cheese options. Can get pretty pricey. Must to try: - Cornish Gouda, paired with clotted cream fudge - Truffled baron bigod - Cornish kern, paired with brown butter biscuit - Whipped rosary goats' cheese doughnut, paired with apricot and vanilla jam We tried a few more but these were our favourites. Grilled cheese sandwiches are also good. Side bread was horrible, it was hard and certainly a few days' old. Such a shame as it was supposed to go nicely. They have a good selection of wines, we went with a Port wine (Tawny - it's pretty sweet). We made an online reservation (though there seemed to be some empty spots) and paid £10 deposit per person, which were then deducted from our bill. In total we paid £77 for two people. We asked for a new bill as we realised that they had charged us an extra plate - make sure you know which plates you got so they do not charge you extra for no reason. Can be quite loud and crowded because of its position in the market.

This is a very cool experience, especially for cheese lovers! 🧀 if we could make a suggestion, we would add a tasting order to the menu, so you have the option to follow a taste “route” and go for the softer once first and the funkier ones later on. They also have a very yummy non-alcoholic red wine.

Conveyor belt cheese spot in the Seven Dials Market. Wednesdays are all you can eat for £28. I managed to get my fill and then some. The plates are all numbered and you’re given a menu with the list so you can see what’s what. If you’re a small group see if you can team up with the people near you to grab things off the belt since some items rarely made it around.

This is a must-visit if you like cheese and if you like novelties. We had so much fun picking and choosing cheese, drinking wine, and eating cheese toasties. It was an interactive experience and it was so fun to figure out the combos. We ended up sharing six plates of varying prices and a toastie, without the wine this totaled at £40. For some, it might make sense to go bottomless on Wednesdays. Can't wait to come back.

went for bottomless cheese for vday. it was lovely. very expensive (we're students) but it was a treat. the staff was super kind and attentive and always ensured to keep the tables clear. was really fun to tick off all the ones we'd tried! not very much bang for your buck- all the plates together cost around £90 and it's £60 for 2 people, for 1h30m so be focused and shove the cheese down or it doesn't add up. drinks are expensive also but no surprise there, but they are quite delicious

This place is incredible! We had 8 plates between two of us and it was perfect - the cheese portions are perfect for sharing between two. House red wine was also very good! Amazing service from Alice, she was so friendly & welcoming.

A distinctly underwhelming experience. Perhaps I should have visited on a Wednesday, when the offer is seemingly at its best value, but I firmly believe that a restaurant should offer a good experience offer or not. The cheese is varied and tasty, but the portions are not particularly large and you have to keep a mental note of what you’ve taken off the conveyor belt, as the staff regularly come and remove the plates you finished. As a small party, we individually took plates off the belt and I did not find it relaxing to have little idea of what our final bill would be. The hot dishes are limited and rather small. The staff were reasonably attentive, but I found their insistence on how amazing everything was to be a little disingenuous. I arrived at Pick and Cheese with considerable excitement, but I don’t think I’d repeat the experience, and I can’t decide, recommend it to others, as it was decidedly average experience.

We went on a Wednesday to the all-you-can-eat buffet, we booked the day before, but there were few free hours, it's better to book in advance, you can do it online. The experience is very positive, there are 25 types of dishes, several are not cheese but cold cuts but they are also very delicious. The cheeses are quite special and the mixtures are made with very good taste. They provide water without paying and within an hour they tell you that you have 10 minutes left to leave. Per person it costs 31.5 pounds, because they charge a service fee of 7 pounds... It's worth it.

Not a good welcomed. Atmosphare was too bad. Most important was the manager was so arrogant and rude to us. And i saw him to rude with his colleaguesand chefs as well. His behave was totally unexpected. Shame on him. I don’t want to pay them a visit.

The cheese comes along on a conveyor belt & you pick what you & then pay by plate. Each plate has a wedge of cheese accompanied by chutney, crackers, flapjack or a piece of fudge. You can even order from a menu for hot cheese plates like halloumi or a donut filled with goats cheese & apricot jam. Something different & really good fun.

A decent old fashioned cafe where you can get various breakfast options most of the hotplate fried! I had a pretty ok full English. Hard to get a decent cooked breakfast in Central London

Nestled near Tottenham Court Road Station, Pret a Manger delivers a solid experience for coffee lovers and those seeking a quick bite in central London. Known for its fresh, wholesome ingredients and swift service, Pret offers a refreshing change from the typical café experience. During my recent visit with a friend, the inviting aroma of freshly brewed coffee greeted us upon entry, setting a pleasant tone. The interior, though unassuming, feels modern and functional, with comfortable seating that accommodates both solo visitors and groups. The range of coffees is impressive, and the quality is consistent—a satisfying medium roast with balanced acidity in every sip. The staff worked with efficiency and courtesy, ensuring orders were both prompt and accurate, despite the steady flow of visitors. Pret’s menu selection, filled with freshly made sandwiches, salads, and snacks, emphasizes simplicity and quality. My friend and I sampled the smoked salmon baguette and the classic avocado wrap—both showcasing fresh ingredients, though perhaps not as bold in flavor as one might hope. The pricing is fair for the quality, which is reassuring in such a bustling part of the city. Overall, Pret a Manger near Tottenham Court Road strikes a fine balance between convenience, quality, and value. While it may not offer a gourmet café experience, it’s a reliable and enjoyable stop for a quick, satisfying meal or coffee.
