Chai & Bite in Leicester

What a lovely delivery driver. 😊Food was tasty especially the chips. However ,chilli paneer could be a little bit spicier but maybe that’s my spice tolerance. 😃overall a nice meal.

Lamb kebab wrap and pakora very spicy but chips very tasty, great portion size on the chicken tikka rice box too!

It was a bad decision to order from this restaurant. None of the items were good. Waste of money. There are so many other good restaurants in the town. 5star reviews given for this restaurant must be fake.

Me and my wife visited yesterday and honestly it was the best decision to try out this beautiful gem of a place! The food was so delicious and authentic! The service was brilliant...so polite and welcoming! We left happy with our bellies full! Thank you so much....we will definitely come again!!

Paneer paratha was way too spicy and the chilli paneer rice box wasn't spicy and wasnt as saucy as I thought it would be. I chose peri peri sauce but couldn't taste that and my the rice box didnt come with chips as advertised. Still giving it a 4 star because I am no food critic and my take on food could be different to others.

I ordered from Just Eat! I will definitely be ordering again! The food was authentic and delicious! There is a very big selection! The food arrived hot! The portion sizes were very good! Lovely food, wish the portion sizes were slightly bigger but the food was excellent.

The food was quite dry and there was plastic found in one of the rice boxes. We are not pleased with this service as this is the second time something was discovered in the food. We would like some acknowledgement of this and some compensation.

Although the food arrived a little bit late, understandable that it is friday, being Sikh myself i love Punjabi home cooked food and the food was excellent, perfect for lunch time.

1 Paneer Spring Roll : x10 £8.00 All very nice & delicious!! 1 Paratha : 2 Paratha Stuffed with Paneer, Green Chilli Onion, Spices with Butter or Yogurt and Pickles £6.99 + Yogurt - All very nice & delicious!! 1 Chicken Tikka Rice Box £7.49 + Mint Imly + Fanta Can 330ml - All very nice & delicious but the Mint Imly was missing in the bag. Also could have done with a few more pieces of Chicken Tikka for better value for money. 1 Egg Curry £7.99 + 2 Bhatura - All very nice & delicious but the portion was small & the sauce was on the thin side so a bigger portion with a thicker sauce would have been better value for money. The complimentary chips included were some of the very best I've ever tasted & full of flavour as was all the food including the rice & delivered by a friendly driver. Many thanks.

Tried this place out for the first time and wow fantastic food. The sheekh kebab panini was out of this world. Best one I've had in ages. Definitely will be getting more food from here.

We called in here on the off chance and were so pleased we did. Very friendly family owned business and delicious home cooked food made fresh to order. Good sized portions, lovely soft breads and a good choice of vegetarian options with a little something for the meat lovers. Sadly we live too far away for delivery but will definitely go again when in Leicester.

I absolutely love everything they make..the flavors are super authentic and delicious..literally finger licking good food...just like your mother's food..and the prices are lower than everywhere else..

Ordered takeaway from Just Eat - Daana Paani - My order was delivered earlier than predicted was hot and delicious. The best Chilli Paneer and Rice I’ve ever had 😍 Naan bread was so soft and great when picking food up with it. Very friendly delivery aswell makes a change having someone talk to you whilst being sincere with it and smiling! Great food for a great price will be ordering again!! Thank you so much 💕

Food was absolutely amazing 1st time trying but definitely won't be our last only negative was delivery being a little late due to traffic issues but wasn't a problem. Driver was friendly and couldn't apologise enough for the small delay a definite must try for everyone 👌🏼

Had our 1st order from Chai and Bite, the food was tasty (spices and heat) and freshly made, tiny bit salty for my taste but hoping to order again and ask for less salt. The pickles were spot on, bathura beautifully fluffy, and overall flavours just like my aunty would make it. Service was great, delivery on time and with a smile, food was hot and fresh on arrival, would definitely recommend and will be ordering again.

Ordered on Uber eats Overall food was good! Aloo Paratha: the best Aloo paratha I’ve ever had BUT it was spoilt by chilli! It was so spicy, I couldn’t stop screaming and crying so it ruined the whole food experience! Rotti: was nice and soft. Panneer: was meh, it tasted abit like it has slightly gone bad! Overall it was good. The food was affordable too! And the delivery was really really slow!

The food was as good as ever, the consistency here is on point. We had the chicken tikka and keema toasties which tasted as good as the first time we had ordered. We also had the Sheekh kebab wrap and is definitely something I would recommend to someone to try. It is great value for money considering the quality of the food is extremely high and the portion sizes are great, you definitely won’t be left hungry.

First time ordered from here as I was hungry and at work . Chicken tikkia abit spicy espically the chips. Loved the garlic nan so fresh. Hot chocolate was really milky could do with more chocolate in it. Deliever was on time but was coming up to the estimate time a minute to spare. Deliever driver was friendly.
