I went to this place and ordered one tea and samosa, which were extremely unhygienic to eat, it seemed like they were made with cheap-quality ingredients, which made me very, very sick after I came back. I would not recommend this place to anyone because of its poor food quality. I am hardly give reviews to anywhere but this quality forced me to write something..

Great location, friendly staff, great choice, great taste of everything, big portions and good prices! I was particularly excited to try chai mixed with coffee- unusual but I enjoyed it. I wish I had this place where I live- think I'd be in there all the time.

Did you know? At the time of writing this review, there are at least 30+ locations in Blackburn that either have the word 'Chai' in their name or claim to make 'Chai' as an additional feature of their menu. Of the choices available, there's only a handful that are doing things properly and in my humble opinion, only one that deserves a regular visit, that'll be kind to your wallet and lay a treat on for your taste buds - Enter CHAAYÉ PAANI (situated on the Car Park, Brown St, Blackburn BB1 6HQ, 01254 405962). I've visited this place many times over the past couple of months. sometimes I bring my wife and children for an occasional treat and sometimes I've stopped in a for a munch with the lads. I've tried their Pink Kashmiri Tea, Karak Chai, Karak Coffee, Brownies, Kebab Roll, Samosa Chaat and Home-made Donuts, and never have I had a single negative thing to say about their food and hot beverages. I'd go as far as saying that CHAAYÉ PAANI is for Blackburn, what the Queen Vic is for EastEnders or what the Rovers Return is for Coronation Street. It doesn't just serve food, it's a communal meeting place in Central Blackburn that serves a societal function too, for meet-ups for people, popping in to sample the delights on offer or ordering from their cars. It's on the radar for most people because of accessibility; there's a lot of parking and for convenience; it's easy to get to and once in (even if you nipped in for a quick bite) you feel inclined to lengthen your stay a little longer to continue meeting up with old acquaintances, enjoy your purchases and have a little chit chat whilst you're there. CP always has a clean, vibrant and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel like you've set foot in a genuine & professional establishment, with competent & courteous staff behind the counter that go to great lengths to ensure that your visit is that much more memorable. The footfall in and out of their doors is a testament to their greatness and how far they've come within the short time they have been established. Wheelchair Access included. Highly recommended - 10/10 #chaayepaani, #chaayépaani, #blackburneats, #teashop, #cafe, #coffeeshop, #karakchai, #karak

I’m not a believer of giving bad reviews but have no choice on this occasion. Take away, worst ever, kebab not cooked, bread undercooked. Tried to call and explain but some how they couldn’t understand even thou they could to take the order. Last time!

I recently had a takeout from Shandaar Tandoori, and I am extremely disappointed with the experience. The wrapper was stuck to my food, and half of my chapatti was left clinging to the wrapper. To make matters worse, my entire kebab roll had its fillings spilling out, making it impossible to enjoy. This is not the first time I've encountered such issues, and it has become infuriating. I eat from them daily, and it’s utterly unacceptable for a restaurant to consistently fail in such a basic aspect of service. It's a real shame because the food itself is tasty, but the atrocious packaging completely ruins it. This needs to be addressed immediately.
