Very good selection of books to read but my large bugbear is how noisy it is if you are trying to read...if background noise doesn't bother your concentration, then that's fine. Unfortunately I can't concentrate and usually have to leave library prematurely. Living in an urban area is noisy and there was a time when libraries were quiet sanctuaries...alas no longer.

Visited with my daughter who had a booklist for school, was feeling a little lost, but the staff went out of their way to help me find what they had.. and even locate the books in other libraries for me. Great service

Exceptional. Superb collection of books on Art, but I think many are to be relocated? A very nice atmosphere with plenty of books to explore. By the way, if people think Epsom is noisy, I suggest you give Sutton library a miss. Back to Epsom...are you going to gave the out of hours open access scheme?

I love libraries. You never know what you might find to read. Epsom branch is well laid out offering free use of computers as a library member, small charge for printing òccasional documents. Lots of areas to spend time reading in comfort. Good coffee shop just outside too

The liabary is Excellent kind staff and lovely people However it can be a bit noisy and that's not good for studying and Thiers no need for the noise either and I'm talking about adults not children Based on the noise I don't think it's a good place to study

Pros: U can have library card without any fees or subscription, have few PC for library card holders, quiet environment, child corner, disability access, nice and friendly assistance. Cons: PC s are restricted for 2 hours a day. Book collection is very low based on subject coverage and volume.

Now reopened after Covid19 lockdown. The returned books are quarantined, and you sanitise your hands. Friendly assistants will help you locate books. Adjacent cafe not open.

Excellent library. It makes me laugh how many people are complaining about the noise from children. A library is a family environment - a free one. The notion that libraries are silent is extremely outdated.

Decent library, study area has good desks with separators but it is a joke how noisy the library gets because of screaming toddlers. I mean I understand you need to get them into reading etc but just let them choose a book then leave rather than cause a scene for everyone, it isn't a free nursery!

We came here one Saturday afternoon, and ordered an entirely vegan meal to take out. All the food is Indian inspired and freshly prepared, and the lady who runs the stall is very friendly. Great prices - the food was delicious, and healthy and we will be return!

The staff are great when they help you at the front desk but they are so loud when talking amongst themselves. They don't really consider others in the study area. They walk around while talking loudly or talk over bookshelves to each other.

I have been a member since I moved to Epsom in 2001. It has been computerised now, so you check your books out and check them in when you return them. There are library staff around if you need help. There is a shop where you can buy books, children's area where there is story telling, computer terminals and you can print stuff if you need to. There is an information desk outside of the library , information stands and places to sit if you fancy a coffee and/oe something to eat from the cafe next door, I tend to have the cheese omelette, which comes with salad and chips and is very filling.

Absolutely delicious food!! We have Ordered from Simi more than once now and it is so much better than any local Indian takeaway restaurant we have found. Simi also took time to go through all allergens with me to ensure that it was Coelaic safe and most is gluten free anyway! Highly recommend!

Fantastic food, lovely hot/sweet/sour pathia dish, super light fluffy peshwari naan, onion bhaji light and crispy. I'd be reticent to go again as the waiting time for dishes was extraordinarily long, sitting there 25 mins to order, starter came in 10 mins which is what I'd expect but then to wait over an hour for the main course is far too excessive. A waiter actually tried to change the tablecloth before we'd even got our main courses it was so long! And the pikey family with the unruly kids running about and one of them crawling around most of the night was just not needed. Nothing was said to stop the distracting unruly behaviour and it really spoiled the night for us and other diners. Pity because it could have been a regular for us but service time was just far too long.
