Cfc and Curry House Original in Leeds

Been eating takeaways from here for a while now.The food was amazing Chips, samosas and chutney. The Samosas are oily hard pasty and not good, chips are really dry and not tasty and the chutney watered down. Food is spicy and when you ask for it to be less spicy their don't make it less spicy. The Samosas, chips and chutney was amazing some of the best in Leeds.

This small restaurant and takeaway is situated half way up Chapeltown Rd, and sells curries, pizzas, fried chicken, and doner kebabs. It is friendly, popular, and inexpensive. You can save on waiting times by phoning your order in first. Most customers are getting food to take away, but there are four tables if you want to dine in, at no extra charge. There are limited vegan options, and not too many vegetarian ones. Portions are of a decent size, and you can get a filling meal here for under £10.

Just ordered a lamb karahi... not bad but very very oily ... needs bit more of a kick as a little bland and please very less oil ...

I ordered a chicken filet burger and I received a kebab in a Hamburger bun. Is the person who takes the orders aware of what people are ordering and repeating their order three times apart from something else? Where is a dish like kebab in a hamburger bun on your ordered list?

This is an underrated spot. Unappealing from the outside but, the food is usually much better. I try and stay away from the burgers (meat and chicken), they are pretty dull. The fried chicken, when fresh is really good and the curries (Masala , Balti and Biryani) are even better. The curries are consistently very good and the portions are generous. I would highly recommend the curries and if you're wanting a quick bite, the chicken and chips are pretty good too

The service is good nothing wrong there but the quality of the burgers and donner meat has just gone from 10/10 to 3/10 recently. They definitely buying bulks of cheap donner and burger patties and charging high prices. The donner tastes like its got hint of lemon 🍋 init 👎the cheese burger pattie also was really thin.

I ordered a supreme burger , the picture on the wall was with two burgers, two slice of cheese,doner and salad 1/2 lb. But, I had one burger,one cheese, doner and salad 1/4lb . Therefor I hadn't got a burger and cheese. The manager said the pictures is wrong 😳. Now what do you think?..

This is our favourite curry house in Leeds!! Well worth the 18 mile round trip from other side of Leeds, we call here once or twice a week for fresh lamb , chicken or fish masala , the dishes are full of real meat not just meat with glue and fillers & is more like home made curry in its background sauce with coriander and leaves a nice 'Zing' in the mouth! Always well presented with large naan bread. I also buy a 2nd dish for later in week ! My kids love a chicken wrap and cheesey fries and fried chicken is very fresh and the coating is nicer than other leading fried chicken establishments, very reasonable prices too , meals for 4 of us for under £20! Will try out other dishes in the coming months , I have also recommended local friends , Thankyou C F C

This man can cook! I got introduced to his food by a dear friend of mine. Ever since then, I have found myself travelling over 3 miles to this curry house anytime that I fancy curry. Restaurant is very clean with excellent team. I highly recommend this place.

My chicken and spinach curry had a bad flavour, with no spice or heat, despite my asking for it extra hot. The nan had a strange and unpleasant flavour to it, and overall the dish tasted far more like some bad English food than good South Asian curry which, for the price of £7.50, I was hoping to receive and then go on to support this local business. Feeling very disappointed EDIT: Given the rude and wrong reply from CFC, i'll clarify that a) I meant hot as in spicy, not temperature and b) the food was said to take 15-20 minutes after ordering on the phone, upon which I collected within that time. I would strongly advise anyone against bothering with their curries, and, based on my past experiences, their substandard fried chicken, with many other options locally available in Harehills and beyond. The safest option might be their canned drinks, if that.

This place is disgusting the porchen of food given is not enough and the customer services from the ladies are terrible. The prices are to expensive aswelll compared to other fast food places
