Real authentic Sri Lankan Cuisine. Must try this place if you’re into fresh and spicy south Asian food. Lamprais 10£ is really delicious. All food is flavoursome 😋 Try the Kottu, you will not regret 😌

Please Avoid! The Dosa and Idly tasted stale as well as the chutney. Mutton kothu rotti was bland and didn't even had onions. It was just a mush of old mutton curry not even more then 3 pieces of meat and rotti. All the lunch item meals were frozen curries. A let down for sure as they advertise themselves as Malaysian restaurant. But just serving frozen items. They even charge for the TAKE away boxes and service charge for their slow and rude service.

The food here is really fresh and very flavourful. Have been to a lot of indian restaurants but this gives a homely taste, so definitely worth it! They gave us their amazing sambal complimentary too! The service is really amazing too!

Even though we went out with family in the late evening, we still opted for freshly prepared food. We ordered dosa and parotta, and the dishes were as delicious and spicy as we anticipated. Additionally, the service was excellent.

Comparing to the other restaurants in the area it’s little expensive. Food taste is average and their service levels are good. I’ve tried a sea food Koththu and it hardly had the seafood in it.

Ok food. Visited first time and not very impressed with food or service. The guy next to our table was shouting like hell over the phone without even noticing other customers. The staff didn't even bother to notice and caution the person. Lady who served us the food very polite and when we ask something I noticed her weird reactions on her face. Not sure why. In terms of food it Ok food , we ordered kothu and some mutton curry. Kothu was literally taste less and waste of money on it. Not visiting again.

AVOID!! I got a take-away after a long day of work and the food was absolutely appalling!😡 They charged nearly £20 for a disgusting watery chicken curry and 2 roti's and a dosa!! All the food went to straight to the bin!! The lady on the phone had the nerve to tell me it's like a homemade chicken curry when I questioned her on the spicyness! If you call mixing water with some chilli powder and adding precooked chicken a curry then it's a joke! Hard-earned money gone down the drain thanks to ridiculous establishment! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

This restaurant serve Malaysian food and I thought I will give it a try. I bought Nasi Lemak which not upto Nasi Lemak standard. Rice not fragrant and can’t taste coconut milk in the rice. Chicken over fried, achovies look like boiled instead of fried and sambal look like straight from jar instead of properly cooked sambal. Total I spent £10 on one Nasi Lemak which waste absolute waste. I can get better tasting Nasi Lemak cheaper than this in Malaysia restaurant.

Went for the first time since they moved up the road. I was skeptical and with good reason. However, my partner always quite liked the food so I was willing to give it a try. It’s a small establishment front of house with only two tables and the kitchen is open on one side right at the front. The decor is basic and a little grubby. I ordered a plain hopper, devilled chicken and fish cutlet, although this is not listed on the printed menu. There was no one else in the restaurant only us. My partner ordered the Marsala Dosa. My hopper came quite quickly but it took the girl a while to get the food from one side of the serving station to the next. Although it was literally a metre away! The hopper was cold although it had just been cooked. I asked for it to be warmed through again. The devilled chicken was too salty and too sweet. No curry leaves, they just hadn’t got the spicing right. The fish cutlet had an awful lot of potato as padding and lacked flavour. Also was quite a small portion. I basically finished my meal before my partner got his. His was quite a large portion, but he felt the Marsala inside was quite dry. Left feeling quite unsatisfied and probably won’t visit again.

I felt it was misleading what is served verses what is described in the menu. My dish had just mushrooms for vegetables, small amount of noodles, near zero chicken. I asked for not too spicy and I got a very hot red curry sauces that was very spicy. The dishes are over priced Lassie was £3,50 the lunch dish £9.99 with a service charge on top. It was a very poor experience and I would not like to return.

on 7th April 22 I went to this restuarant and bought three portions of Briyani. One of which is called'Hydrabadi Dum briyani'.I honestly lost for words as I have never tasted a disgusting hydrabadi briyani like this in my life.I saw the lady who was making and I asked her hydrabadi Briyani is a long process how will you make it in 30 minuts ,she simply said they prepare rice, and meat separatly leave it in the fridge previous night and just mix everything when we order. and on week ends they make real dum briyani.I was horrified to see her cooking just adding so much of yogurt and chillie powder ,few corrinder leaves to the meat & made a gravy,End result was just greasy sour gravy mixed with pre cooked rice which is not even fresh. Its a crime to name a rice dish like this as iconic Hydrabad briyani .In which Srilankan village they make Hydrabadi briyani . felt sorry for the cooking lady seems like a house wife not a trained chef.I truly believe the owners of the restuarant should seriously go and taste Hydrabadi briyani some where they make it authentically before selling this rubbish .All went to the bin in the end.such a disgusting briyani.

As with the other reviewer, we were driving past on a Tuesday evening and saw this place. Interestingly this road has a small little cluster of South Indian/ Sri Lankan shops. We (wife and 3 kids) and had a combo of mutton rolls, mutton khothu, some veggie dishes and of course egg hoppers for the kids. All absolutely lovely. Have tried most of the Sri Lankan places around here, this one is fabulous. Definitely worth a stop.

Random find while driving past, but a good one. We've tried 2-3 other Sri Lankan restaurants in London and this is the best for flavour. The milk hoppers were really yummy. I also really appreciated that I could tell them exactly how spicy I wanted the dishes and it was done just right. One thing is I get the impression that not everything is available every day, so probably best to have several options in mind.

We got our 8 pizzas gradually over about an hour. My friend had to wait more than 30 mins for hers and everyone else had already finished when it finally came. No apology either. The pizza itself was dry and only had 2 slices of mushroom on (I wouldn’t have listed it as a topping for just 2 slices of mushroom!) - wouldn’t go again

We have been regular consumers of Take Away deliveries from Deea, with a high level of expenditure over the last few years. Last night , March 16th 2024, we ordered a delivery at the cost of £88. Firstly , a king prawn shashlik dish @ cost of £16 approx. one of the most expensive dishes on the order , was not delivered. I rang the restaurant and it was delivered , albeit later than the original order. Then my daughter found a black hair in her vegetarian dish,. I rang the restaurant again, and the manager rang me back shortly afterwards to say it was a hair from a brush they use on the Tandoori grills. He sent another replacement . By then it must have been some time after the original delivery and my daughter would not trust the food again, feeling quite ill at finding the hair , and of course by the time the replacement dish had been been delivered again, it was all to late for my dinner. waiting for the prawn dish and hers, it felt like money wasted . Ok, these things happen people might say , but when you spend £88 ...not unusual for us with Deea , it is not unreasonable to expect due care and attention. We will not be ordering delivery from Deea ever again. Just not good enough or acceptable standard of service. Very careless and poor customer service.

Having been to the Carluccios in Richmond recently, the Bentall’s branch in Kingston felt like the poor cousin. The portion sizes of food were smaller and the staff serving were not attentive and kept trying to push add ins like a salad or bread. We were not enthralled and having been going there for years and years, it sadly is not how it used to be. The penne Giardinea, their signature dish, you have to find the courgette balls! Tiny and sparse. This used to be such an incredible dish.
