Ceylon Street Restaurant in Redbridge

We booked the restaurant ceylon Street for Saturday at 7 pm for 12 people including kids the service was terrible every time we had to call someone to give us the menu go back to ask them to order and we been waiting and waiting for our drink to come no one bothered to bring us drinks even after so many requests from us and no one came to apologise for the delay at the end we had leave the restaurant without eating was a horrible experience and will never go to that restaurant again poor service and Management .

We booked Ceylon Street for our mum’s birthday and took both our teenager kids with us. The food was finger licking delicious. The different flavours and fragrances really did hit the spot! It’s hard to find a restaurant that can provide top Indian cuisine. We were thoroughly pleased from the beginning to the end. We had a great evening. The seating and ambience is good perfectly seated for families and couples. We will definitely be going again!!! When the food is this good we need to go back! I ordered lamb biryani instead of lamb i received chicken biryani. When complain to manager they were very rude and did not even apologies for there mistake.

I ate at their street food pop up @ Canada waters on Sunday. Omg. After just a mouthful I wanted to buy more. I would have done if i had a suitable bag and I hadn't got to be somewhere. Really fought myself over wether I had time to get back to pop up before it closed. I woke next day and the food was all I could think about. I went shopping and am currently trying to recreate that delicious Kottu chicken. Fantastic Food.Great service.next time I'm in London I will be going to Ilford to Ceylon Street Restaurant..

I’ve been to Ceylon Street a few times now and ordered take way. The food is great, my favourite place for a dosa and I enjoy trying all their dishes. The staff were really accommodating to my friend who is gluten free the last time I came.

We were at the restaurant for lunch on Sunday 2nd July . The food was amazing . We ordered the Biriyani ( lamb ) , jaffna lamb curry , Brinjal curry , Kerala fish curry , egg hoppers , plain hoppers , milk hoppers and several starters and the total bill was still under £100. We were truly amazed at the quality , quantity and teste of the food . Our party of 4 adults could not finish the food as the potion size was so generous that so much food was left over to take home with us . As much as the food was fantastic the staff also needs a mention as they went out of their way to make our experience at the restaurant a very pleasant one. Nothing was too difficult a ask from them . I will certainly recommend the restaurant to all my friends and family and will certainly visit again soon with my daughters .

4 mutton rolls for £8, I nearly fell out of the door. Way to expensive. Customer service was also not so good.

Very organised and efficient from start of booking and throughout, no request was denied, from tweets to the food menu to decor, on the evening excellent staff on hand to give family and friends a great time, hot tasty food, 10/10. Will defo be making more future bookings
