Amaizing place , great food and service , i recomend sitting downstairs in the cellars area , lovely atmoshpere and cool in summer cosy in winter. Great pricing . Food quality is second to none . Service is superb and couldnt do enough . Highly recomended . I would give it 10 stars if i could .

Requested quiet table sat with loads of groups people constanly walking past table food wasnt the best either sad to say wont be back. Explained our issues we had but didnt care. Amosphere was like eating in a school canteen. Requested rest of meal to takeaway noone came back to pack it up couldnt stand it amy longer left.

After trying virtually every curry house in the area, cellars tops them all! The service was fantastic, we felt really well looked after and the staff are friendly and attentive. Despite it being an extremely busy Saturday night with large parties, we got served quickly and the food arrived promptly. The curry itself was absolutely fantastic, the best we have had in ages and the portion sizes are generous. The only thing I will say is that the popadoms are not complimentary and cost £1.30 each. This is likely due to the chutney tray which we decided to keep for our starters too so just be aware! At the end of our meal we were offered a complimentary drink and were also shown round the cellars as it was our first time there and they looked fantastic! We hope to be sat down there on our next visit! Overall we had a fantastic meal and will be recommending cellars to everyone we know!

Went with a large party. Ordered main meals and drinks. Everything was correct and food very hot.

Why say you're open until 11:15 if you turn punters away at half 10? 20 minute walk wasted! 😔

A couple of steps to negotiate for my elderly mother.The staff are all very chatty and friendly and the food was top quality. Look out for the midweek special as they make it very good value. Thankyou

What a fantastic venue, seats in the cellar, family friendly but also great with friends or on a date. Food is amazing. Staff our fantastic. If you can’t do small spaces you can sit upstairs. Highly recommended for anyone.

im disgusted with the service i wanted to order a curry they said they only deliver 2 miles radius we live 1.2 miles away they would not deliver his attitude stinks dont bother going to them they do t deserve the business

On entry there is no real welcome. Noone tells you there is a delay on your table, you're just left there waiting. Our 815pm table turned into and 830 table. We were taken down stairs into the cellars. It was quite pretty. We immediately ordered drinks. The drinks menu is extremely limited, no flavoured vodkas, no orange J2O, in the end I ordered lemonade which tasted cheap and nasty. At 9pm we had poppadoms. Mine tasted of fat, never tasted one like it. Not sure what this means, we're they a bit stale? At 2130hrs there was still no sign of our food, no offer of a second drink. I ended up going up to the bar and ordered our own second drink. Around 2140hrs almost an hour and a half after our arrival we got pur starters. The food was OK. The mains followed and again they were OK. Nothing special just OK. I had salmon which came with a side salad. The side salad was just lettuce... The worst part about our visit was the service. I guess we have been spoiled as we always go to the Bombay Pickle. I will never return to the Cellars. I paid £140 for the pleasure of terrible service and horrible drinks, never again.

As soon as I entered I knew it was going to be chaos and I was correct. 815 booking and finally got seated at 840. The drink selection is awful. No flavoured Vodka, no orange J2O, Lemonade tasted cheap amd nasty. The service was awful. After an hour we had still had no food or the offer of a second drink, so I went and ordered my own at the bar. My poppadom tasted of cold fat, does that mean they're not fresh? The starters were fine, just took an hour and 10 mins to get them. The mains were OK, I had Salmon which said it came with a salad. Salad was lettuce..... Technically it's salad but I just thought there would be more. It just felt like down in the cellars you are forgotten. We only went because I couldn't get a table at Bombay Pickle. I definitely will never go again.

Average food at best, massively over priced for what it was and I thought the waiters attitude stank - poor service in general. Asked for more lime pickle and was told like a naughty child ‘finish what you’ve got first and I will bring you some more’. As a paying customer, I don’t see the issue in asking for more, seems as I am paying the overpriced bill at the end of meal regardless. Another bug bear is only being served popadoms to the table once ordering the mains. What do you think I’m going to do a runner and not pay for 6 popadoms??? It’s nice to brows the menu and have nibble rather than be fobbed off by some make believe story of mint dip being spilled on the menu once upon a time. Won’t be returning.

Great quality food. Service was a bit slow but it was a busy Saturday night. We did have a table next to us that was particularly noisy but at least they enjoyed themselves but spoilt it a bit for us as we couldn't hear each other speak

Nice atmosphere down in the cellar area, food order was incorrect but rectified. Very busy as it was a Saturday night so service was a little slow.

Excellent food and excellent service. Despite the prices, the staff always makes it feel like a special occasion. Peshwari naan with cream and cinnamon for dessert, excellent; who'd have guessed.

Ordered a takeaway that Deliveroo completely messed up (wrong order dropped off as they had two deliveries). Ordered direct with Cellars and Cellars service was quality and sorted me out when I got there with half a Cobra. Great service.

Tasteless and cold. Poor quality all the way. They were quick at clearing your table but quality of food was poor. Another customer complained as they were leaving also. It was like they had the meal put to one side and never put it in a microwave. You do not expect this when you go out. Very unsatisfied.

My partner and I visited Cellars for the first time on 02/12/2023. From start to finish, our experience was amazing. After being greeted by friendly staff and promptly sat down to the table we had reserved, we couldn’t help but notice how clean the place was.. spotless! Despite there being 2 very big parties at the restaurant, our food and drinks came so quickly! The food was absolutley spot on and cooked to perfection. Our waiters were so considerate and ensured we had everything we needed. To make the experience even better, the lovely staff in the bar gave us complimentary Baileys. We cannot reccomend Cellars enough.. we can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu! Thank you everyone at Cellar’s for such a great dining experience :)

We have used cellars for years either dining in or takeaway , we decided to have a takeaway on Monday evening 7/8/23 , after not having one for a while, we have always found the food to be nice and tasty but this time unfortunately it was very bland, our one dish just tasted like tomato ketchup and the Naan bread was very oily , no longer get poppadoms and dips either! Really disappointed in the flavour. ☹️

i went for a meal couple weeks ago ,with a good friend of mine on his say so and ive got to say its one of the best ive been to. i cant say its the best because ive only had a special there . they dont serve what i would normally have ,so i have to give them a chance to shine as it were look out for the update , i cant see it being too bad as the food was 110% Quality.

Great friendly service, super food and nice atmosphere. Couldn't really ask for much more. The menu was varied and all of the meals were enjoyed. The special, starter, main course and rice/naan (Mon-Thu) was good value at £17.50 too.

Food was some of the best Indian food I have had in Stourbridge, and I’ve tried almost all of them! Service was also fantastic, the waiter we had was clued up on all the specials and gave us great recommendations for food. Will 100% be coming back next time we have an Indian.

Been twice now Foods not as good as bombay pickles and the service is not a patch on bombay pickles so will stick to them from now on.

The tandoori dishes are very bland and basic. Chicken tikka was dry, pre-prepared and tasteless. Then Seabass tandoori main came by themselves as two overcooked, unseasoned fillets. They had no tandoori spices, flavouring or even basic seasoning and had just been over grilled and put on the plate without anything else. Very dry and disappointing. Everything felt rushed and uncared for, with the waiters dropping the plates down and rushing off, it felt that they were almost embarrassed themselves at what was being served. I can also confirm through a separate experience that they are not at all child friendly.

I'm a vegan, our server found this annoying, but he seemed annoyed by everything. We had a second server at the end of the night, he was great. 3 stars for service as questions were answered, and everything came out correct. Wouldn't rush back due to lack of meal options. No vegan starters, and I wasn't offered options for mains, instead told if I what I wanted was vegan, so ended up sticking to the same old dish.

Lovely food served downstairs in the old cellars or upstairs looking out onto the high st. Service was good, poppadoms were light and crunchy and my mixed meat bhuna was delicious.

One of the best Indian restaurants around! Amazing atmosphere, decor and vibe. Love the aspect of dining in a literal cellar, very cool indeed. Food, service and speed all outstanding. Very reasonable prices too for such great portions. Can't wait to come back again!

Much more deserving of an award than its rival opposite. They fit us in on a very busy NYE when we hadn't book, apologised for the table, which was fine, and made no attempt to rush us out or not provide us with top notch service. The food was excellent, really tasty curries, good spice level - i.e. not tampered down for supposed "western tastes"and really nice breads (naan and paratha). They even have an IPA (which wasn't bad) on the menu not just lager. Excellent value for money and they gave us a free shot of Bailey's on our way out even though they were really busy. I would go to Cellars every time now - probably gives the Lye curry houses a run for their money.

Went here for dinner in a party of three. The food and service was very good. Staff were friendly and efficient. The only gripe is in the celler you do feel a little overcrowded, and it's distracting and loud. However it wouldn't stop me going back.

A lovely Indian restaurant which has the perfect ambiance for a date night! Food is top quality and large portions. Staff are friendly and attentive. They always make sure to get you a table even when they are very busy. At the end of the meal they give you a nice baileys and chocolate which is a really nice touch! Not child friendly at all!! Called to ask if they had a table available for two people & a high chair they said to walk in. Went there and was taken to our table asked them for a high chair they then said they didn’t have one, so we went to the car to get the pram they knew we went to get it but we then came back they then said they don’t usually let prams in but they will this once. There was no one else in the restaurant and the staff weren’t welcoming at all. Walked out after this issue, I’d completely understand if they told us they weren’t child friendly when we came in or over the phone however they didn’t and it doesn’t state it on the website.

As a local business me and my wife were looking for a decent curry house, we could start to use on a regular basis, it definitely will not be this one. The other issue I had was I wanted a beer on draft, so ordered a cobra, please clean your pipes as the beer had a stale taste. We both said exactly the same thing. We came here by recommendation, so we’re extremely disappointed. Waste of £60!!! Only thing that was ok was the chips. I did feed this back to a waiter as I left, but as a first and last time experience I can say I will not be returning.

When here yesterday and it was soo good, I had the tikka mix grill and definitely need to go again. Staff know their stuff my girlfriend had the chicken special and was going to have dirty rice which had prwns and stuff in it and straight away he advised it would not be a good idea because it really wouldn't go and we appreciated the helpful advice because it was really nice with the pilau rice.

Visited this evening whilst taking out a colleague from Scarborough. Granted, she doesn't have as much choice as us up there but, she loved it. "Best Indian meal I've ever had". Had no doubts Cellars would deliver as we've been before. Lots of the diners...

Never again. Not one of the 7 dishes ordered was authentic. All very very red. Way to sweet and sickly....2 were not eaten because of this. Mixed tandoori was dry....over cooked or warmed up! Not good...not eaten.
