It was...okay. Delivered very quickly, and therefore hot and fresh, but my Khao pad was notably lacking in chilli heat or fresh zing, as well as meat and veg components. Also under-seasoned, it needed a good glug of soy sauce to come alive. For what we paid, I just expected a bit more

Super yummy! I ordered the Panang curry with tofu (vegetarian) and a jasmine rice. Picked it up for collection and it was steaming hot.

Estábamos visitando Edimburgo para unas vacaciones y reservamos una mesa aquí el jueves 12 de diciembre para la cena de noche. Habíamos comido aquí antes en visitas anteriores, así que estábamos deseando volver. Fuimos recibidos por la señora muy amable y tuvimos nuestra mesa favorita junto a la ventana. Disfrutamos del ambiente acogedor y tomamos nota de algunas actualizaciones de la decoración, pero nos alegramos de que han mantenido la sensación tradicional al restaurante. El servicio aquí por el equipo de marido y mujer es excelente y la comida es excepcional, con grandes opciones en el menú y cada plato bien presentado y lleno de sabor. A la noche siguiente, viernes 13 de diciembre, decidimos regresar, siendo nuestra última noche en Edimburgo. Una vez más estábamos muy contentos con la comida y el servicio y disfrutamos de otra noche encantadora! Gracias.

Food was extremely underwhelming. Tasteless curry, extremely greasy tempura. What a disappointment.

Really great food in an intimate atmosphere. The only reason I did give 5-stars is that the door catch wasn’t working and, on a cold Edinburgh night, having the door constantly blowing open was unpleasant and I understand from friends it’s been like it for a while. Can’t to too hard to fix.

Amazing place, brilliant food, fantastic service. Over the years I have tried the pad thai, gaeng massaman, gaeng daeng, drunken duck, duck spring rolls, assorted appetisers and mango sticky rice, all amazing.

Very special cosy restaurant with incredible home cooked Thai food. The fish dishes are particularly tasty with interesting flavours, and the staff are super welcoming. We'll be headed back many more times I'm sure!

Probably the best Thai food I've eaten so far. Plus at a really fair price and very attentive, friendly service. It's definitely worth coming here, even if it's not exactly in the center.

True Thai cuisine, friendly service with care that we customers are enjoying our meals and are having a good time. Whatever you want, the chefs and servers will be polite and kind to go the extra effort to make your evening a special one to remember.

Prompt delivery and fairly hot. Fishcakes looked nicely homemade rather than bulk bought and tasted good. Pad Thai was a bit oily and lacklustre flavour, but had a good portion of nicely cooked prawns..

Small restaurant, which looks a bit dingy from the outside. But we ate a delicious curry and a fantastic mango sorbet, pure mango and no chemical seasoning. Very friendly staff. In short, a big 10

The sticky ribs were amazing, meat just fell off and so juicy. The duck spring rolls were delicious too, can’t wait to order again. The only negative was portions could be a bit bigger but still overall satisfied and will def be back

This was not my first order, but it will be my last. The portion size and quality were significantly lower than previous. Overall it was just underwhelming and did not feel like value for money. We order £30+ of food and were still hungry afterwards

Absolutely excellent Thai food! Love the Green Curry, tasty with a great variety of ingredients. Rice was fragrant, and the fried tofu goes well as a side. Also had the coconut custard dessert, it’s a light but sweet end to the meal. Very satisfying and loved every bit!

Nos alojamos cerca por la noche, decidimos probar aquí, ya que estaba muy cerca de nuestro alojamiento y no estamos familiarizados con la zona. Entramos y estábamos recibiendo por una encantadora señora amable que nos hizo sentir muy bienvenidos. La comida era deliciosa y muy llena. El postre de mango y arroz pegajoso estaba delicioso. Es una pena que solo estemos aquí en Edimburgo por la noche o felizmente volvería aquí de nuevo. Definitivamente vale la pena una visita.

A cosy Thai restaurant with street-food inspired atmosphere. They serve wonderful delicious Thai food. The place is located in the residential area on Rodney street, not far away from Leith walk and Broughton Street. Although they have a few tables but the restaurant has quite relaxed vibes as if you have gone to your friend’s house for tasty home-made food. The best part is that you can also BYOB!!!! The owner and the chef are wonderful people. They are super friendly and have fantastic high-standard customer service. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who love Thai food but prefer low-key and relaxed atmosphere. Come check this place out!!! You probably have to book a table if it is the weekend or why not try order a takeout. UPDATE 5 May 23 We made our way back here again!!! The food was awesome as always !!! ♥️♥️♥️see photos! Reliably tasty and well priced! I've been here about five times with friends the last few months, and gotten takeout too. It's a cozy atmosphere, really good for casual hangouts and grabbing a nice bite.

Excellent Thai take away was some problems with card machine on home delivery but working again the food is realy lovely and kay has a beautiful telephone manner 5 stars.

Highly recommended little Thai gem near the city centre. Excellent food, service & atmosphere. It's my second visit and I'll be back for sure. I had the Duck spring rolls for starter and the Delicious Ta Ray Jarn Ron as my main, this was lovely and spicy. My friend had the Tom Kah soup and Pla Nueg Khing which she thoroughly enjoyed.

A real gem Warm and friendly local business. Home cooked food, served with a smile and care for the customer. BYO makes it affordable and accessible. Warmly comforting experience - great if you are looking for somewhere you can have a conversation while you dine.

Ribs were more like burnt ends but tasty..Two curry’s pack full of meat and veg very good portions but down side was sauce was watery…Nan bread was soggy from being in the tin container a quick change to paper bag could resolve…will defo be back but more likely to sit in than get a delivery

Amazing food, highly recommend it. The 4 stars for atmosphere was just when a family arrived with a pushchair they took so long to come in and out that the temperature plummeted, wear warm clothes. The 4 stars for service was due to the waitress clearing the plates while I was still eating, otherwise excellent - we will definitely be back 😊

Ordered on line for delivery on arrival the card payment machine was broken and had no connection couldnt pay as had no cash in house ! Food was taken back, realy terrible service I dont understand why I couldnt simply pay the restaurant over the phone a complete waste of time and effort !!!! My wife and I visited this place for the second year running, and the food, service, and atmosphere was just as good! It is a family run place that can cater for a gluten, dairy and egg free diet. We liked it so much this time that we visited it twice within the week! Thank you!

Disappointed with the nan bread. Was hard and tasted like the factory bread from the supermarket. For £40 I expected fresh handmade bread. The curry and rest was very tasty but feel expensive overall

Sweet corn cake was very very greasy, in fact couldn’t hold it !and sweetcorn in it was tough not fresh . Gang Massaman tiny portion , Pad Thai was tasteless and had virtually no tofu in it. All very small portions in comparison to other takeaways. Very disappointing. Very poor value for the money.

I've been ordering from Celadon for almost 10 years. It's great for takeaway, but even better when you get a table at this small family run restaurant. The owners are just lovely, and the food is delicious. No booze licence, so bring your own if that's your thing.

We were here last night for the first time and we definetely reccomend it. The place is small, with 6 tables, which makes it cosy and warm. The lady who served us (Nush, I hope this is the spelling) is super nice, and the food is amazing. We had two vegetarian starters, then green Curry and Stir-fry with two sides of rice and noodles, and we paid less than £40 in total. The price is definetely below the avarage of Edinburgh but the quality is higher! I think we have found a gem of Thailand in Scotland, and we'll come back for sure. Ps: they do not serve alchool but you can buy it next door or bring it from home, and pay the corkage fee.

Best value for money Thai food I’ve ever had. The owner is lovely and always makes you feel welcome. The cosy atmosphere is warmly lit and decorated with watercolour art by the owner. I recommend any of the duck dishes, which are cooked to perfection.

Very friendly staff, authentic thai food, and reasonable prices. Overall a lovely experience dining in this place!

Came for dine in dinner and had a wonderful time. Staff was super charming and relaxed which made for a comfy and enjoyable atmosphere, even offering to cook off menu things within reason. BYOB was a nice surprise making for cheap drinks. Food came out quick and was really good. Very generous portion sizes on everything (especially the duck). Papaya salad was fresh vibrant and had a nice heat. Massaman was creamy and rice and the coconut rice was delicious and very nicely cooked. Desserts were also great both the Banana fritters and Mango and sweet coconut rice were both tasty ways to end a great meal. Food was great value considering portions and the fact that it’s Edinburgh. Will definitely be coming back to try what else they have on their extensive menu.

First time ordering, will definitely order again. My only comment is that the Tom Kah had no chilis at all. I ordered it because I have a cold and wanted something to perk me up a little! It was very tasty, but maybe someone just forgot to add the chilis.

Gorgeous Thai restaurant which felt very authentic and had the most wonderful staff. The lady who served us was so kind and welcoming and the atmosphere of the restaurant was fab. The food was DELICIOUS! We particularly loved the Tom Yum soup and salad.

(*) no worries as there is a bottle shop 20 meters away with a good selection. BYOB=bring your own bottle, ie the restaurant doesn’t serve alcohol and you are allowed to bring your own favourite poison ;).
