Had planned to eat on site as kids were booked on activities. Came to order at lunchtime but was informed the menu wasn’t available today but just three meal options, one of which was just a plate of chips, and that was it. Pretty poor given this is peak summer holidays and it was packed with families expecting to buy food. Given our experience and half the reviews you’re better off taking lunch with you and just buying drinks if you want.

Ordered 2 deluxe got chocolates which were ok but not very chocolatey. Food menu was limited but went for 2 hotdogs with cheese and onions (70p extra for each item). Came in a cardboard box and looked like they had just been microwaved or reheated in some form. Tasteless and not great value for money. Best item we ordered was the box of fries but even that was average. £24 for 2 drinks, 2 hotdogs and 1 fries!

Took well over half an hour to get food order. All six meals were brought out at 5 minute intervals. Then meals were thrown on the table and the waiter said he would be back right away with cutlery. In the end we went and got our own. Appalling service. Food was just average and pretty cold by the time it arrived as it has been sitting waiting for service to bring it to the table. Won’t be back.

The let down was the Cafe, slow service and the fish and chips were overcooked or warmed up. Chips were french fries not proper chips which were overcooked and you could not put your fork into them. No follow up from staff about the meal after it was served. Toilets were blocked and smell outside from drains in car park.

Waited 20 minutes for a single hot chocolate, hot chocolate was quite weak and hardly ‘deluxe’ so not worth the money

I ordered a young adventure burger for my son which should have come with chips and beans. They forgot the beans and when I asked for some it came too late, my son already finished his food. Also, it was very expensive for a child's food.

Pleasant surroundings and lovely staff. However we did find it ridiculous that we could only order by using the QR code on the table. This was hugely time consuming and why we had to put in a phone number and email address is very questionable. The coffee and food were good except the Americano came in a cup that was difficult to hold as the handle was an odd shape.

Lovely breakfast and a lovely service by staff members. Great to have a Resturant this nice local with beautiful views. We will defiantly be visiting again to try other meals on the menu and to enjoy the out door eating area.

Visited here today and ordered 2 hot chocolates. We were both freezing. I paid and gave the table number but they lost our order. We were waiting for an hour and no one acknowledged us. I returned to the tills and asked where our hot chocolates were and they had no recollection of it. So very disappointed I was asked to wait a long time for it to be re made or have a refund. I opted to have a refund. But it upset as both as we were both very cold and really needed a drink. Also a very slow service. But the zip wire does look amazing.

Had a lovely oat hot chocolate after a cold zipwire ride! The beetroot wrap was lovely and came with fries and salad. I'd like to try the falafel burger next time! They have vegan packet cakes too, but I was too full. There's amazing views of the mountains and the interior is really cool and coal mine themed. Staff were lovely too.

Had a lovely Sunday dinner with a view, food arrived quickly and was the best Sunday dinner I’ve ever had!

Had a go on the zip line and had a great meal after at cegin glo. With amazing views of the mountains and valleys it is a great place to eat and drink.

Ordered a few coffees and some cakes. Flat whites didn't have frothed milk or the syrups ordered - were just bitter white coffees. Cakes (prepackaged and on the bar) didn't arrive 25 minutes after coffees so went to collect myself (no apology). All served in takeaway cups - they were compostable but nowhere to put them for this and if we'd left them on the table outside they would've blown away. If you're sitting in at a cafe think for the sake of minimising waste, serving in proper mugs is much better.

My wife and I decided to pop in for lunch yesterday as we were at a loose end. I have to say that we thoroughly enjoyed. What I especially liked about eating here is that everything is done on the app and all food containers are recyclable. The staff and really friendly and helpful and made such a fuss of our dog that we will most definitely be coming back. The food was excellent to and a big shout out to Adam in the kitchen who was most helpful recommending food to us.
