Situated in a great spot next to The Shipyard Market, which is great for people watching. People may look at the prices and think it’s too expensive for a bagel but they are rammed with fillings. We opted for 2 different flavours and had half each - both absolutely delicious and surprising filling. They are fantastic!

Ced’s Bagels Porthleven. Salmon & cream cheese bagel better than Brick Lane. Reuben's bagel better than Katz Deli NYC. So glad we found it !!

The guy serving was amazingly friendly and helpful, and I was offered sound advice on what availability and seating. It's just a really nice place and great service.. I'm sat eating my bagel, which is the best bagel I have ever had.

Really nice bagels with a choice of type of bagels and lots of interesting filling options. Recommend the jerk chicken option. There is outdoor seating available with drinks options nearby too - bar, juices and smoothies..

We decided to give this place a try one lunchtime, and we were glad we did. Quite a wide choice of fillings and probably the best bagels I've ever had! It's next door to the Shipyard Market, with the Shoal Brewery bar the other side. We therefore grabbed a beer from there to go with it! Ideal! The bagels were so good, we had them again later in the week to take away...just thinking about them is making me hungry!!

Ced’s Bagels are delicious, so tasty and filling, a world away from shop bought ones. I particularly love the breakfast ones during summer and the cream cheese, ham and chilli jam in a poppyseed!

Amazing, freshly baked bagels with lots of outdoor seating next to the brewery (grab a beer to wash your bagel down). Plenty of choice when it comes to fillings and bagel toppings. The staff were very friendly and enthusiastic. Get yourself down to Ced’s!

5* review-Would 100% recommend. The tempura salmon starter was generous and tasty. The lemon sole and venison were cooked to perfection. Perfect friendly individualised service. We had crumble and bread and butter pudding with clotted cream and custard, both delicious. Wow! We will definitely return. Best fish I’ve had ever! Even the music was great. We had such a lovely evening. Check out the new website and book, you won’t regret it. Thank you Annabelle and team

Came here for afternoon tea and it was pure perfection. The location can't be beat and the food was incredible. But on top of it all the service was the best of any restaurant I've ever been at

Antonio and Sue were amazing. What an unusual find- really fantastic food with Portuguese flavor. Focus on locally caught fish cooked really well, without fuss but great flavours. Cannot recommend highly enough

The service was very slow. Food from order to table took 30 minutes. We tried to order soup of the day. Both options were not available. So we chose a crab sandwich with cucumber pickle and a fresh asparagus in mint pesto and pistachio + flatbread with wild garlic butter. The flatbread was good but arrived sometime after the asparagus dish. I had expected the asparagus to be cooked. However it was raw asparagus very finely sliced in pesto. The taste between cooked and raw is quite different. Personally I prefer the cooked flavour. The raw flavour is not as distinctive and there is only so much you can enjoy. The crab sandwich was a misnomer. The crab was spread between a section of baguette with a very hard crust and the cucumber pickle in slices also in between. It was incredibly difficult to eat and impossible to cut with an ordinary knife. We requested a sharper knife and this was supplied with the comment you had to expect this with a sourdough baguette. Really? and sourdough seemed unlikely ! Neither dishes were particularly enjoyable and jointly came to £43 which we thought expensive. Service charge was extra which we declined. We have been to Source before and the menu was excellent. This time it was very disappointing - something seems to have been lost in their sense of purpose and delivery.
