Cecconi’s is the gold standard of London restaurants. They always deliver and if they don’t they always make an effort to make amends. The desserts are sublime leave room for those. I always take family visiting me from other parts of the U.K. as I know they will enjoy every moment. Highly recommend the spaghetti bolognaise & the salmon tartare.

This was a nice discovery for us. Off the main street as a non Londoner, we would not have stumbled on this jewel unless 😉 we didn't get lost looking for Old Bond Street! But we were so happy that we did, because it was a little jewel, we went twice! 🍽✅️very nice People watch ✅️ service 👌 do all in all great find.

Cecconi’s is a delicious place with amazing service, but I think J would have expected more for the price.

A typical overpriced Italian meal, where you are told everything is posh/exclusive to make you feel part of the cool crowd. Food was ok, but poor value for money. Service was surprisingly slow given the price/location.

🚨🚫Tourist trap + overpriced. Please visit any other Italian restaurants in London than this. The service is horrible from the waitresses (3 front of house), we waited 20 mins for tap water after asking. The service also felt like a mess as there were several times when there were only customers and no staff on the floor. Our waiter was good tho, he was really polite and attentive when he was serving us. The pasta was probably the worst we've ever had in London, and we've been here living for over 11 years. If you want to try Italian food, please visit anywhere else, we ordered spaghetti lobster - only came with lobster meat, no shell, it's not the same as the image they put everywhere, the tomato sauce was bland, M&S ready meal is a lot better than this, and Tonnarelli, extremely salty and we can only taste the black pepper - none of us can finish it.

They have cold pressed juice in the menu when you order it one expects it to be made fresh instead we get bottled PRESS juice served in the plastic bottle that’s available in a supermarket expect this restaurant to be better than that pretty poor

Terrible customer service. Went there this evening as a black woman wanting to have dinner. The reception staff were very unhelpful and made it very obvious I was not welcome. I walked out and will take my custom else where. Terrible. I do not recommend.

Honestly one of the best places in London for high quality Italian cuisine. It’s my go to spot whenever I’m in London and every time I have a wonderful meal. The place is very looked after and the service is excellent. Portions are generous, especially when it comes to pasta. It gets very busy so I suggest to book in advance to secure your table.

I recently had a disappointing experience at Cecconi's for my birthday celebration. Despite the restaurant's reputation for high quality, I was let down by several issues. Firstly, our wine bottle was taken by strangers from the holder not once, but twice. This was frustrating and inconvenient. Secondly, the food was not cooked well, particularly the red sauce pasta. It was undercooked and lacked flavor, which was a major disappointment given the high standards I had expected from Cecconi's. Overall, my experience at Cecconi's was subpar and I would not recommend it, especially for it's price.

Sitting on the bar and enjoying your drinks it’s like being in a movie scene. There is plenty of an electric atmosphere, the bar staff are always looking after us, and in a wonderful location in Mayfair.

Food is good the parmegiana(eggplant with tomato and cheese) so delicious a must, and zucchini fritti and baked gnocchi highly recommended. One time I came service was amazing second time I went service was horrible only few waiters serving all tables…

Loud, obnoxious and not family friendly with rude staff! My husband and I as well as my 4 years old daughter came to dinner here, we weren’t greeted for a while and then the hostess came and seated us. We didn’t like our table because it was in the loudest part of the restaurant, also some one from the restaurant came to our table and said that my daughter can’t use her iPad because it’s loud but meanwhile everyone else is shouting on the top of their lungs in this restaurant! Then my husband went to the front and kindly asked if we can be seated in another table or outside, she said she can’t help us because this is table we get and that’s it! She just didn’t want to help at all! Meanwhile there were bunch that f empty tables outside and inside. The staff Was just so rude that we got up and left.

We came here under a year ago after the theatre show for drinks and dessert, it was a very different experience. The dessert we loved last time was Mille feuille, which is now taken off the menu, what a shame. They must’ve changed both the management and chefs, just guessing based on receptionists attitude and food quality. This time round, after the theatre show, 10pm, lady at the reception was somewhat arrogant. We asked for a table at the back where the windows were open as it was a warm evening, there were several empty tables, but she said they were reserved - at 10pm 3-4 tables waiting for customers?! Anyway, she offered us either a table outside by the entrance, which is secluded and separated from the entire restaurant or bar chairs, we chose to sit at the bar. Desserts Tiramisu (too much cream) and profiteroles were disappointing. Not only profiteroles were filled in with overly sweet (sickly sweet) ice cream, but also flooded in a chocolate sauce, there seems to be a total lack of balance. It was more like drinking chocolate sauce with a bit of profiteroles. Tea was probably the best part, maybe tasted good because it helped washing down the extreme sweetness and cream overload from the desserts. Decor is pleasing to the eyes and invites you, but the experience of service and quality of desserts doesn’t live up to the looks. Mind you, after 45 minutes that we spent there nobody turned up to fill in those “reserved tables”. Overall, sorry to say, but a super pretentious and unpleasant place with poor quality of food, I will avoid in future.

A waiting list for sitting outside even with a reservation. We needed to wait until people without a reservation which came before us got their table(we came on time), that doesn’t make sense for me.U should at least get prioritized when u get there with a reservation. Would not recommend to make a reservation since it doesn’t really matter if u have one or not. Also the glasses at our table and the table itself were dirty.

So I called the restaurant regarding my reservation and the lady said she couldn’t hear me and just hung up the phone ! How unprofessional and rude I tried calling again yet no further joy. Very disappointed with service

Very disappointing! We waited 20 minutes to be approached at the table for the first time, no welcome or explanations. My calamari were pretty awful, very hard, overcooked and tasteless. Send it back and come back the same! My lobster spaghetti even worse, for 36£ I had a bowl of tasteless tomatoes sauce spaghetti with overcooked pieces of lobster, my mum can cook better. Highly overrated.

I have tried multiple locations in the UK and US of Cecconi’s and this by far had the highest level of service. Marcello went above and beyond to make my graduation meal very special. We will definitely be returning.

Our breakfast was delicious and very filling - big portions! We had a booking but it was not busy at all for a Sunday morning.

Absolute chaos! The staff is discussing things right next to you, and it’s just a mess. We had an Aperol Spritz for 18£ each, and it was so weak it could have been water, orange juice from an industry, and was declared as fresh! The kitchen and staff can’t function together. Half-eaten food and drinks are placed next to the customers instead of being taken directly to the kitchen. We paid for 2 alcoholic drinks and one non alcoholic drink 47.67£ what on earth..... for something you couldn't drink. How does this place even function? I don’t recommend it—you'll get stressed just by sitting there.

Oh my God! This restaurant is an insult to the Italian lifestyle. The Aperol Spritz had nothing to do with its namesake (colored water for £18 without 13.5% service). The service is uncoordinated and does not work. This leads to stress throughout the restaurant and to frustrated, unfriendly staff. It's a shame to watch an institution decline like this. Let's hope for better days. At this point it is not a recommendation.

You will leave this place a better person... :). We have dined here before when visiting London and in a high-end section of Mayfair off New Bond Street it's unexpected next-level service and cuisine without stratospheric prices. From the warm professional greetings at the door, to the lovely amazing hostesses (Volanda and Alotta unless my memory and hearing are inaccurate which after 4 wines is entirely possible but you know who you are so feel free to correct this) to the epic service from Marcello, you just can't find fault in this Italian landmark. Veal Canneloni, Lamb Cutlets, best green beans in London, strawberry cheesecake and canolli? What's not to like?

Cecconi’s used to be packed. Always a wait for a table, now it seems very empty. I’ve been coming here for 20years, unfortunately no more. The last three visits have got progressively worse. Sunday morning breakfast stop today, sat at a filthy table. Order wrong & cold food. No staff follow up. Waiter happy to take away a full plate without asking the issue, when mentioned it’s wrong and cold he said “I don’t understand English very well” came back with the bill including 13.5% service and thrust the card machine forward.

Unbelievable food and fantastic service and great wine would recommend going there if you have a bad bill please let me know. Been there quite a few times and everything has been perfect.

Best place I have been for fine dining.

Authentic Italian food in a wonderful atmosphere. The steak tartare with a quail egg is divine. My Aunt had the Calamari which was very delicious as well as the eggplant parmigiana. I highly recommend

We always go to Cecconi's when we are in London. Excellent food, service and atmosphere. It is one of those places that does not disappoint you. It has maintained the same quality for years.

After a walk through Hyde Park and Piccadilly why not to indulge with good power lunch. This is a well-known place to be seen in London. It is not your typical tourist restaurant. It is more of a well know restaurant where you will meet casual, business or enjoy after shopping. Location and Amazing energy, love the vibe ❤️

Yummy Italian food, noisy chatty and vibrant , happy atmosphere. The Vitello Tonnata was one of the best we ever had. Service was very friendly but a bit slow and couldn’t speak Italian. Just ignored our request for the bill- Il conto per favore- had to wait a long time for that. If you are in a rush make sure to ask early;)))

Went to to cecconis for lunch and cannot reccomend highly enough, staff are extremely attentive, very very minor issue with my order and my plate was taken away and a fresh meal cooked for me, waiter and manageress both came over and apologized, were given pudding on the house as an apology which was an extremely nice touch, would recommend to anyone looking to dine in this area of London

We had booked a table for 11 AM and were having coffee and about to order food and the rude waitress on the order of manager came and just told to settle the bill. Annoyingly she came 3 times for me to tell her that I will settle on exit and have a word with manager. The manager was even more rude and on requesting him to remove the service charge due to pathetic rude service. He did a smart thing by adding another coffee on the bill and said the bill is same. Never came across a Resturant which is that rude and dis-obedient to customers without an atonement and apology. Never going there back and please customers you also beware of if you want to pay extortionate prices with pathetic service , do avoid this place.

Went here for a sunny afternoon and sat outside was nice day for nice food. The cornish crab is fresh and suprisingly large portions. The pasta was full of flavour. Vlada was very helpful :)

Awful experience despite having a reservation and then arriving and waiting in the queue for outside table. 2 regular groups of guests were not on the list and took the table without asking. None of the stuff did anything about it and we still had to wait for an outdoor table. Really unacceptable.

I jad the lobster spagetti which was really good. Lobster was still juicy amd pasta was cooked to perfection. Service was very friendly and I liked the busy atmosphere with a bit noise but that was part of the charm. Excellent experience.

Just a short stop at this restaurant for a coffee. Coffee was decent. The decor is nice and the staffs were friendly. However this place can get really noisy when tables are filled up. Might not be an ideal place to go if you would like to have a quiet conversation with friends or date.

Am I the only one that doesn’t like this restaurant? No seriously so many uncultured/uncertified non Italians preaching about how amazing and authentic this restaurant deluding other idiots to go here. Service was actually really good no issue with that, so was the atmosphere. But like who cares about all that when the food taste like straight up booty cheeks? The pasta was not even Al dente it was legit rock hard, no flavour to the sauce paired with it, literally not even enough salt like how can you get that wrong? A big disappointment after coming back to Cecconi's. Used to come regularly before Covid. Not only the food was below average, but the service, oh my god the service. I didn't get the name of our waitress (redhead)but she had such an attitude, a tone, unhelpful, unprofessional. I mean beyond. I don't think she likes her job and shouldn't be working in hospitality business. Too bad as it did ruin our time. I did ecole hoteliere de Lausanne myself, and a passionate about food but Cecconi's lost it s spark and should review their hiring process.

Upon arriving at London Mayfair, we decided to indulge & have Breakfast at Cecconi's. The food was fantastic, coupled with a very good service & complimentary additions, which made the overall experience good value for money. We would definitely be returning on our next trip.

Very rude and bad service, including the door people and the manager. Food was quite bad (we went for breakfast, I saw the reviews for dinner were much better for food) Wait time 50 minutes for the food to arrive... Very disappointing. Price does not justify the food quality or service. Definitely not a Mayfair standard.

Today I went to dinner here, The starter menu that i ordered was cornish crab, calamari and tuna tartare….I feel like I would like to recommend the delicious cornish crab served with avocado. As for the tuna tartare, the tuna is fresh but served in the form. Salad mixed neatly with various vegetables The smell was a bit too strong for me and in the main menu I ordered a large plate of black truffle spaghetti (200g) for £60 The taste was not strong?! I added more salt while eating, Another Veal Milanese dish was very good. I recommend ordering the dessert section. I ordered Mille foglie and cheese cake. The desserts were very good. Personally, I thought the desserts were more delicious than the main course. Overall, it was a good meal!

One of my favorite places in London. Great Italian food. The breakfast is exquisite, loved the scrambled eggs with burrata and truffle. Their lunch menu is also very good! The whipped ricotta is a must and so is the pasta with lobster and gnocchi.

Service was poor, came in and it took us 20 min to get our drinks on the table - the waiters just kept looking at our table and attending to others . I’m sure other food may be good but the salmon tartare was mostly acidic.

Best Italian restaurant in Mayfair.Ambience is just right, food is super...must try crab ravioli and other pasta dishes with good range of sides. Can get quite busy, but service is first class. Booking in advance is a must. Always come back here when in London.

Based in Mayfair for many years now, pretty shocked at how rude the staff is to customers here. The lady behind the bar rolled her eyes when asking for a basic order and we could hear other waiters speaking loudly and badly about other guests. Sad because the food is decent and location is great. Service is shockingly bad, worse attitude than McDonalds.

Always a lovely place to eat. 4 of us went and all had a great meal. The lamb chops were the best I've ever had! Highly recommend to anyone thinking of trying it.

The pizza here is hands down the best I've ever had in London. They even make pizzas until 1 am on certain days of the week! The negroni and tiramisu were amazing, adding to the overall amazing experience. Highly recommend!

Our server was great, but having staff rush past you as a client when you are passing through to use the bathroom or failing to even notice you waiting at the desk is rude in the extreme. This has been a great restaurant and I have been a patron for over 20 years. It's a pity to see this kind of behavior. Incidentally, the risotto, while perfectly cooked (a rarity), was unfortunately over-salted.

This really a nice Italian restaurant. The food variety in the menu is excellent however they need to add more salads. The taste of all food that we tried is good. The portions for mains is good for 2 persons to share if you order some appetizers. Highly recommend.

Pasta was undercooked and sent back. The second dish of pasta was also undercooked! My partners asked for her steak medium it came well done! I Wasn’t told it was card only so when can to pay the bill I couldn’t receive any change. Expensive and low quality food! But service was okay.

Great atmosphere. Food was good but not exceptional. The arancini with mushroom sauce was v good. Friendly service from the waiter. The wine was good. Team dinner...it was nice to sit at a round table.
