It’s not Michelin star food but it pretty decent and excellent value for money. Staff are great and friendly atmosphere

Food and service acceptable at best. The pub its self is so neglected it’s painful. One wall has no wall paper and mould on it and other walls just look completely tatty it looks as if the place has been forgotten and left to rot. The kids park outside has no gate on it where it has rotten away, fence sections are just led against the wall and other sections are rotting away in the ground. Like I said the place needs an overhaul. Not a very welcoming environment at all.

Catherine’s Inn, a lovely pub in Bleadon with great atmospherics and ambience. The perfect place to go for birthdays or just for some reliable, delicious food. Lovely service with polite staff there to help. Very clean and tidy. Food is really nice and reliable therefore you know it will always be a good meal out.

Here for the quiz night, had an amazing time and had amazing service by Sarah. She was very friendly and welcoming. Great service

Visit Catherine’s Inn every week for the Tuesday night smartphone quiz and I’m greeted most weeks by the lovely Sarah! I can honestly say that she is an absolute gem! Always remembers to book a table for me and goes out of her way to make sure I’m well fed and watered! Big fan of the menu too!

The staff here are the friendliest I've ever met, they were extremely patient with our incredibly loud kids. The inn was quiet(apart from our kids) and were accommodating to our dogs needs- water bowl-. While on holiday this was the cheapest meal we've had but was still very tasty. Overall, we had a really nice time.

Incredibly slow bar service whilst ordering drinks and food but probably due to one girl behind bar. Apart from that food was quick and lovely. Will definitely return. Would have given five stars if wasn't for the bar service.

The place itself look tired and tatty. My daughter’s mash potatoes had a similar texture to play dough and was just on the warmer side of cold. We ordered two 11oz rump steaks, one was cooked really nicely, the other was really tuff and full of gristle. I told the staff about the steak and it was clear to see the state of it, but there was no apology or attempt to make any kind of recompense.

We just had a lovely family meal here and were served by Sarah, who was so kind and went above and beyond for us.

Terrible service as they blamed the computer for not booking out tables even though we had confirmation and out notes in comments regarding dogs. No apology just they are very busy

Always come down with the family whenever we visit Somerset. Always lovely and clean, quiet atmosphere. Very friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Prices are brilliant for the portions and my steak was perfectly cooked. Couldn't be happier. Gotten pricier food that was a lot worse.

Good service and extensive menu.. prices quite reasonable with lots of day special offers.food quality is good but there has been issues with both naan and flat bread cooking as both times it was soggy on the edges and hard in the middle, almost seems microwaved from frozen but I imagine this isn’t the case,didn't detract from the overall experience or ruin the meals. Would recommend and revisit

Staff and management are rude, bad odour of urine as you walk through the door. Toilets are filthy and smells bad. It is empty with reserved on most of the tables. Didn’t stay for food after being told to move tables as they forgot to put reserved on the one we were seated at. Didn’t fancy eating there the smell is very off putting.

I have visited Brean several times in the past, but not for a while. This time was a rare occasion that we were able to get together with family, due to commitments. The weather was lovely, and we all really enjoyed our day out. This pub we visited just before leaving to head back home, and it was a pleasant experience.

Had a lovely curry this afternoon, service was excellent, we had someone lovely called Stacey. Will definitely be coming back

Catherine's inn is our local kids love it especially and they love when Sarahs working as she's brilliant with them she's very polite and accommodating and we always have a giggle

We had a BOGOF Friday burger here today. Both burgers were great and the staff were attentive, in particular Angel. The app has been updated allowing us to order cordials which hadn’t been working for some time, which meant we could stay outside enjoying the sunshine.

I was meant to do a review the last 2 times we went but forgotten. Absolutely wonderful! The staff were polite and if we had an issue they were kind natured and made sure we were all alright. Food was cooked amazingly and the wait time was not long I highly suggest going for a night out with friends or family.

I don’t usually have any issues here, but today I went for my father-in-law’s 70th birthday and was a bit disappointed. We ordered at the bar, and after telling the lady all of our food and drinks we asked for a receipt and for a bowl of water for the dogs, and she said sure. After getting our drinks, she then proceeded to go and serve another customer without getting us the dog bowl or receipt. I had to go round the other side of the bar to get her and ask for the receipt, and in all fairness she then apologised for forgetting the receipt, but she said we would have to wait until she served everyone else until we got the dog bowl. I don’t get this logic….. as surely it’s no different to me asking for a glass of tap water for myself? It just didn’t make sense to me. They also didn’t have a couple of their desserts available, which I thought was strange for a not so busy Thursday, as I could understand if it was a busy weekend day, but oh well. The service speed was quite disappointing, as it took quite a while for our plates to be cleared and for us to get our desserts. We maybe waited 40mins between our main courses and desserts.

Me and my partner had a bite to eat here the service was swift and met with a smile. Compliments to the chefs as we had the New greek kofta flat bread the meat wasn't over cooked and as we love out greek food this was cooked to perfection. Will recommend and dine here again soon.

Lasagne had a funny taste ,served rotten carrots overall bad experience

Called in on the way back to our holiday accommodation nearby. The pub was extremely clean and inviting, the staff friendly, welcoming and helpful. I chose to have the full monty mixed grill which was great but I discovered later on in the day (after we had left) that it should have included sausages (pleural) but sadly there were none included in my meal. An oversight maybe but now I feel a little let down. However, I've used Hungry Horse pubs before and this won't stop me from visiting again but the next time I'll double check that I get everything that I'm paying for.

Part of the Greene king Hungry horse chain, there's a varied Americanised menu serving all the family favourites. Have to admit the portion sizes have changed dramatically of late, a big plate special was exactly that, but sadly seems to have shrunk but the price hasn't. As a pub / family restaurant it was very nice, good service and quickly delivered. The meals tasted great and the drinks were perfect. It's also a dog friendly pub. Some outdoor seating is available. There is plenty of parking too.

Our meal was for 3 people arriving at 12 midday . Two pub classics and a full English breakfast . Got to say although nice . The meals were extremely small . No where near big enough for me . I counted 11 chips on my plate . We then asked for teas and coffee and this could not be provided with either . We had to leave to actually go find a cafe so we could have a hot drink .. service was good .. food was disappointing. . It's all ok if you have a very very tiny appetite ..

Lasagne was just alright. Didn't have any gammon so my friend had to change her order. Only one member of staff behind the bar so had to wait a good 10 mins to get served. Had to walk the othersudenof the pub for cutlery etc which isn't good if you are disabled.

Tonight every member of staff was attentive. Especially the maybe female manager and the lady with blonde hair with a name starting with S?! Nothing seemed too much, tables cleared fast, the food was hot. We came in at 5.30ish for table 16.

Visited here a few years ago,and it was nice,now the whole place feels shabby and dirty.The food is OK typical fast food pub grub.The staff were polite, but some of the fellow customers were not people you want sitting close by,whose manners are worse than animals. So not a place for us.

Sister in law birthday meal excellent tasty food surprising really for a hungry horse been to fair few in the past and it been disappointing food bland long waiting times but this was different I had to ask if this was a actual hungry horse as it was that good other hungry horses need to get some tips off these guys it was good staff was friendly and welcoming to great for families with young children with play park it wasnt cramped inside either very pleasant evening definitely go again recommend this hungry horse to anyone who in Weston super mare you wont be disappointed

Staff aren’t especially friendly and most tables are constantly reserved - food took along time to get to us - food was nice - we asked for child’s ice cream to be served after dinner and took over 30 minutes to come out of kitchen when it was literally a single scoop of ice cream

We’ve been using this place frequently in the last few months, no qualms with the service , they’re mostly very polite and efficient, the prices of food are generally what you’d expect , but tonight I bought a coke and a soda water before studying the menu and was charged £6.40 , I queried this to be told the soda water is charged at the same price as coke etc , I said £3.40 for a glass of soda ? The girl said yes that’s what it costs , so be warned if you don’t want to be ripped off , never paid anything remotely near that for soda water, it’s free or very cheap in most places, just greed in my opinion especially when you spend around £60.00 on food !!

Fantastic service our server Gareth was great he was very professional and a credit to the pub. The food was cooked to perfection. Lovely atmosphere they were so polite, nothing too much trouble. Sunday lunch great as well as food in week.

Thursday evening, clearly understaffed for the number of people in the place, and after a long wait to place a food order it was 55 minutes following the serving of the starter to get our main course, which only came because we asked where it was. Then it was cold and inedible…clearly we’d been forgotten about and our main course just left standing on the side to go cold and dry out. Requested a refund so hopefully some consolation will be refund…apparently in 5 days time!
