1st day opened since lockdown and obviously our first time back since lockdown and it was perfect from the service to the food. Justine was especially helpful. I would definitely recommend this place. They have all the right guidelines in place to keep you safe.

My son and I stopped here last Friday on our journey home from the North and had a super lunch. Staff were great and I could not fault the menu choice and food.

This place is wonderfull & has it all... Decore is new/fresh and modern.. the food & drink is a spot on... and its cheap.... but the best thing is ther service..... Justine our waitress.. was casual, frendlly & Extremely professional.. she made me and my family feel welcome.. and we realy enjloyed all our meals and drinks ( See we were staying in the hotel operset, so basically lived in the pub..) we just loved the way everything was so casual, and unformal.. it made me less worried about the childrens behavour, and i could relax.. it was a real family pub.

Three of us came in late near the end of food service after a long day of work. We often stay in roadside hotels and visit the nearest pub, we don’t often get the level of service we did last night form Justine. Justine not only graciously accommodated us despite our late arrival, but was warm pleasant and even had time for a bit of banter with the group. Food was good, very reasonably priced and the rest of the staff were very pleasant too. We left feeling a little uplifted despite an exhausting day. Thanks to all!

Came in for dinner after work, Justine was fantastic! Promp service and good chat and banter from her, made the visit very comfortable and relaxed having such a lovely server. 10/10!

We went across to this lovely pub/restaurant while staying across the road at the Holiday Inn. The atmosphere was lovely, COVD restrictions secure but unobtrusive. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and the food was awesome. The best we have eaten in a pub chain. Hot, fresh and perfectly cooked to order. We can't fault our visit on ither day. 10 out of 10.

I recently visited this lovely restaurant with my boyfriend and Brother where the service was outstanding. I was happy to see they was following all government guidelines in keeping myself and other customers safe. The staff was very polite and helpful, they were very welcoming and the service along with the food was brilliant. Will definitely be returning :)

We visited this restaurant for lunch , and I have to say it was wonderful. Food was tasty and looked great. Our server, Charlotte , was also very good. We have truly enjoyed our visit.

Enjoyed a meal at the catch corner on Wednesday afternoon and yet again it did not disappoint! The staff are so friendly and helpful, always there to provide whatever you need and very attentive which is always great to see! This pub has just gone from strength to strength since it has been taken over, huge well done to Mike & Lauren for all they have done! Definitely becoming one of my regulars and the chicken fajitas are my favourite dish!!

Visited Catch Corner quite a few times now and every single it just gets better. I had the dipping steak and it was by far the best steak I have ever eaten, it was cooked to perfection. The staff and managers are so lovely and are so helpful! Even with Covid it feels safe and warming so I will definitely be going back.

We have had a great time at your venue Friday and Saturday nightAccommodated for 12 family friends and we were well looked after by Justine both nights and also chloe. Food was amazing and waitress service was outstanding. Justine kept the drinks coming for us and was a happy cheery young lady aswell. Excellent staff, CHLOE was our table service and was excellent at informing us about our dietary requirements as we are vegan, she worked really hard all night, and was always happy and friendly.

This pub and restaurant have made amazing efforts in difficult times to make people welcome and always give great service and even behind a mask there is always a friendly smile! The wine is always cold and in stock, the lager is always fizzy and the glasses always spotlessly clean and every time we have eaten the food has been cooked to perfection. We are always made to feel so welcome although we are regular customers thank you!!

Popped in here on the way back from work, must say the steak I had was one of the best I've had in a long time...I was reluctant after having a poor steak in another greene King in Milford.I know the team is quite new but doing a brilliant job, customer service is second to none.I'd like to add how even with the social distancing rules in place Catch Corner still feels warm and welcoming.Good luck to Mike and the team, I will be back...

Booked a table here for tea again, done through the app, easy,simple and straight forward. The service, food and price were excellent. Our waitress Chole was extremely efficient and very helpful when our very fussy daughter wanted various requirements for her meal selection.We arrived for our 6pm reservation, drinks were at our table within minutes of ordering and our main meals were also served promptly. This is the 3rd time this year we have eaten here and we have always enjoyed our experience, the price of the food was very reasonable.We'll definitely dine here again in the future. After 5 hours on the motorway, I really needed a break so called in here for Sunday Dinner. Very friendly helpful staff and excellent food. The food, I had the roast beef and Yorkshire puddings was miles better than I expected, by any standards, I couldn’t fault it . Not having been before I did go for the ultimate which promised more meat and an extra Yorkshire pudding for £2 more. This was a mistake on my behalf, the portions are huge. My ultimate roast was a daunting plate of food but it was so good I did clear the lot. A very pleasant surprise and so handy off junction 13 of the M6. The location is firmly lodged in my motorway services avoidance file. I’ll be calling in on future trips up and down the M6

After a very long day at Alton towers I brought my two sons for some food at this restaurant, it was lovely to be met with welcoming and warm smiles from all the staff. A rarity these days to say the least. Justine looked after me and my boys brilliantly and attentively. As did the rest of her staff. Nice food and welcome after a good family day. Highly recommended.

Lovely staff who despite never seeing us before treated us like friends and within short order had remembered our drinks round. Great choice on the menu and the hot hot fries were pretty hot! Nice real ales at the bar and great table service.

Great food with excellent cleanliness and service !We went on a Tuesday evening as we were staying in the Holiday Inn Express opposite.The beer and wine (a New Zealand sauvignon rose) was excellent. Food was served quickly but not too rushed and with good quality fare! Out of Fajitas though :-(Justine was very efficient but good fun too !Avery pleasant evening indeed and the eat out to help out discount was a bonus!

I used to come here before and it wasn't the best, but recently it's just had a new general manager and I've been a few times since, now it's one of the best pubs around for food or even just a drink. Staff are very friendly and always eager to help. You don't sit around waiting for ages to be served and you don't wait ages for your food either. Lovely friendly clean pub. Best greene King I've ever been to.

Visited this pub twice during our stay at the Holiday Inn Express which is situated next door. First night we had drinks and a sharing platter as a snack. Second night we ordered steak x2, and a burger followed by pudding. Steak was perfectly cooked. All the food was lovely, and reasonably priced (even more so as we visited during the Eat Out scheme). Staff are pleasant, especially Beth who is such a lovely, bubbly lass who is great with the customers and is a credit to that bar. Would recommend.

I have visited this pub on a couple of occasions and must say how much it has changed since reopening after the lock down. All the staff are pleasant and approachable and explained on arrival about the new rules to comply with social distancing. The place was well sign posted and clean in all areas in addition all tables were cleaned and sanitised after use . The staff working were all wearing the correct PPE while carrying out there duties. I felt at ease and very comfortable during my visit

We have just returned from a 3 night stay in Staffordshire. Our party of 3 were my husband, granddaughter who is 5 and myself. We were staying at the nearby Holiday Inn Express and went to Catch Corner to eat on all 3 nights. The welcome and service we received was outstanding. The team were so friendly and very welcoming especially with my granddaughter who quickly made friends with Becky and Charlotte. On one of the evenings we were late back from our day out which would have made us late for our booking. I called the restaurant to ask if we could change our reservation time and there was absolutely no problem with it whatsoever. The menu and children’s menu at Catch Corner is varied with plenty to choose from. The food arrived hot and within a reasonable timescale, which as every parent/grandparent will agree is a must when eating out with wee ones. Every evening walking into the restaurant we were greeted with smiling faces from a team who clearly enjoy their jobs in hospitality. Thank you all for making us feel so welcome. Hope to see you when we’re down your way again.

I have been staying at the hotel near by and I have had a few meals and had a couple of beers most night over the last few weeks since the lock down ended I work all over the country and go to a lot of different pubs but I can say this pub sticks out the most the staff are amazing the whole team are so friendly and take time to make you feel welcome and spoke to the manager who takes time to say hello and the food is very good prices and really nice as I’m a chef my self I am picky we’re I go but would recommend this place over all I would give it a big 10 out of 10 and will be back there again

We stayed at the holiday inn on the 8th of July at Acton court Stafford,and had a meal at the catch corner that eveningThere was a lady there who was absolutely great-couldn’t have been more helpful-she chatted to us about being in Spain and various other things-I think she would have been classed as a hostess,not manager but she was polite ,attentive and came over very friendly and natural-not sure what her name was but she was petite and had blonde hairLovely ladyThe meal was nice-two huge mixed grills-the rest of the staff were great too-nice meal-good staff-great place.

Great food, great service. We went on 20 the July. Charlotte was brilliant.The rest of the staff was very very good too. Manager did very well as there was an incident on the night. Would recommend this place in a heart beat. Well done to the team

visited here just after lockdown like a lot of people we were nervous about going out, the staff couldn't have made us more welcome it just felt like another time, chatty so friendly, helpful food was lovely I would definitely recommend this for a meal and drinks, thanks everyone for making us feel relaxed and at home.

Instead of visiting the usual motorway services,we decided to look for somewhere different and found this place.Just situated off junction 13 of the M6,this is your typical pub with meals.A very pleasant place with a good menu and reasonable prices.The menu consisted of the usual burgers,pies,fish,salads etc.So if you don't fancy a typical motorway meal,try this place for something different and more comfortable.

This was the second time I visited this pub only to be bitterly disappointed yet again. I had no option but to eat here as other local options were full. I attended a few months ago where the burgers were terrible, overcooked and rubbery with little attention to the preparation. Yesterday, we tried the sharing platter and lamb shank roast. This was honestly the worst food I have ever had. The sharing platter I could have brought better from Iceland for £2. The chicken was tasteless, very overcooked and the measly bit of salad was wilted and old. It was awful. The main of lamb... The mashed potato was hard, the lamb itself tasteless and the worst of all was the large yorkshire pudding. It looked great until you tried to eat the lower half which was literally dripping with grease. We could not finish any of it and reported this to the girl serving us who stated she would tell the manager. We waited for perhaps someone to speak to us but heard nothing after 10 minutes so we paid up and left. This was honestly the worst food out I have ever had (for the 2nd time at the same location).

Travelling back to Manchester on the M6 we were constantly getting held up due to issues on the M6. As it was approaching tea time we decided to come off at Junction 13 and visit this restaurant. I've had food here before and enjoyed it so it was an easy choice to stop by again.We all had a starter, main meals and drinks. The quality of the food was excellent and very good value for money. The staff and service were also excellent.So glad we stopped and we will definitely make sure we stop off there again.Thank you

After visiting the wacky at catch corner today I was pleasantly surprised to see we had the place to our selves however I soon realised why no one else wanted to be there, the hygiene or lack of hygiene is absolutely disgusting. My daughter immediately needed the toilet but the girls toilet was “out of order” with a sign to use the boys toilet which I wasn’t too impressed with but assumed with it being a child’s toilet it would be suitable for my 4 year old daughter. It was in no way fit for anyone to use the toilet it was filthy and there wasn’t even a toilet seat in place! Straight away I alerted the only member of staff there Beth who didn’t delay in escalating this to her manager and replacing the toilet doors with new signs to instruct customers to use the toilets in the main bar area which when you’re the only adult with the children in the soft play means you have to gather all of your belongings and all children so one child can use the toilet in the main bar. Also the coffee machine never seems to work in this place so again you have to go to the main bar for this. It isn’t what you expect when taking your children for a trip to soft play. The toilet situation really needs sorting out. I recently recommended this place for a party to a friend I’ll be making sure they book somewhere else!! Appalling.

Came today with a group of friends, lovely service and Beth in the wacky warehouse couldn't of been more helpful even though she was very busy,the children had an hour in the play area, food and a play on the park outside, will definitely be returning, thank you to all the staff especially Beth for a fantastic afternoon.

Absolutely terrible service, waited 10 minutes at the bar to be served, to be greeted by bar staff arguing with each other. Food was microwave average, nobody bothered to clear our plates so I had to ask. Won’t be going again.

Staying at the adjacent Holiday Inn for 4 days and the weather being atrocious with flooding restricting our plans we resorted to going to eat at the adjacent Green King Catch Corner and was glad we did.This is a really good venue for food, over the 4 days we tried numerous dishes (including vegetarian) and each was very well cooked and presented, the staff were both helpful and professional, the table service made the experience very enjoyable; add the great value for money and we could not fault it.There was one minor hiccup with one meal being colder than anticipated but this was dealt with quickly with no fuss at all to our mutual satisfaction.We strongly commend this venue to you for very well-cooked food; and drink; at very reasonable prices

Came in by chance because we were staying in the Holiday Inn Express next to this place. First impression was quite nice. It is nicely decorated until we tried to order drinks, There is a big poster says £9.99 Friday processco on the wall, but they didn't have any in stock, then tried Dr Pepper, didn't have any. So we moved on to the food, It says Pub and Grills with nicely grilled food printed on the front page of the menu, so I ordered a grilled seafood platter, but when it arrived, it looked like Sashimi, all plain white, no sign of being grilled at all, the promised butterfly prawns were three boiled prowns hidden in the corner. So I sent it back after explaining it to a member of staff, then another member of staff came out to us straight after questioning what was wrong with the seafood grill. I felt it would have been a better service if she could have investigated the matter with her own member of staff rather than asking us to explain the situation again. We did get the money refunded for that dish with no problem. But the night felt flat because of that, felt disappointed and will definitely not be back here again.

Visited this place for the first time in a couple of years, looks like they've refurbed it, looks lovely......then. Got seated pretty quickly only to have to be moved because the table we were at had been reserved, fine not a problem. Asked for 2 cokes, got 2 diet cokes, they went back. Asked for baby food for 1 year old granddaughter it came in a boiling hot pouch with no dish or spoon. Other granddaughters side dish consisted of 3 chips and 2 sniggy bits. Hubby's chicken wings were cremated be my chilli and pineapple dip had a distinct lack of chilli. Chappy who served us I think would have sooner been anywhere but at work. Granddaughter enjoyed the ball pit though

This restaurants has good quality pub grub I stayed for 9 nights when it was both busy and quiet . The staff are always warm and welcoming . Prices are very fair good selection of beers on tap would definitely stop of again here

Another restaurant where the younger staff fail to understand that every sentence and it's tone is the one thing customers take home. Please train your younger bar staff in making sure they know how to talk to a customer in a polite and respectful manner. Always make your customer feel that nothing is too much trouble and, goodness me, say thank you. Basics in training.

First time here and food was brilliant we both had the hunters steak and was cooked perfectly and our server Charlie was lovely and interacted so nicely with our little girl was all around brilliant 5 stars will definitely be comimg back! Thank you

We were seated straight away by a lady called Cath blonde hair glasses who attended our needs a few times. She answered questions about the dishes and couldnt be more helpful. Great place, we booked the function room for a family party of 26. Met with Kathy on arrival and she showed us the room and went through our meal pre orders along with the chef. The room was great with plenty of space and a projector and screen if you need it! The food is great too and all meals came out in a timely manor. All the staff were attentive making the whole visit enjoyable. We would definitely recommend the room and the pub. We’ll be back in the future for the next family get together.

Warm and welcoming staff, nice to have table service in a relaxed atmosphere. Food is excellent from starter through to dessert. Our waitress was amazing, very attentive on both our visits, in fact yesterday we only went for a drink, but when she said ‘not eating today’ we thought ‘why not’. I am sure her aspiration of being a Barrister will be achieved too. The starter of fried squid with a dip is highly recommended.

I've not been since they reopened because the staff were rude and argumentive when I produced a voucher. I enjoyed the food but vowed not to come back after the way the staff were.

Booked here for my mother’s 70th birthday party in their private room, and I’ve got to say this as been one memorable day/night the room was lovely we had around 30 people here and it was nice and personal, The staff were amazing they went above and beyond their role to ensure our party run smoothly problem free, Claire, Charles were a couple I remember but there were two more members of staff that I would love to thank for their hard work in making moms birthday special, also the kitchen staff and chefs as the food was all amazing to serve all of us smoothly and everyone’s food was hot which is accomplishment in itself, honestly guys you all did amazingly enjoy your drinks as you all deserve them

This was by far the most impressive beautifully cooked Xmas Dinner I have had away from home. It was a lovely warm welcome with lovely staff throughout making sure we were okay. The manager was so attentive too, going around the tables and paying special attention to the children excited. The food was fantastic. Large portions too with treats of brownies, mince pies and a lovely cheese board complimentary. I really hope people go and visit this superb venue as it is really a cut above with a lovely warm welcome and friendly feel. Thank you Catch Corner! Definitely will be back.

We had Christmas day lunch here and cannot fault anything. The food was excellent and large portions. Everything was cooked to perfection. The service was brilliant and very attentive. Best Xmas meal and experience we have had in years. Very good value for money. Friendly helpful staff and management. We will certainly booking again for next year. Well done to all concerned.

Thanks to Kath and her team for a well organised Christmas meal. 42 members enjoyed a 3 course festive fayre. All food was excellent, hot and not a long wait for service even with our large number of guests.

Lovely food lovely atmosphere haven’t attended since it has been redone out but well worth a visit and will defiantly be returning. We both had starters and mains and both very worth money and very tasty thanks catch corner :)

We have been coming to catch corner for the last few years for our Christmas family get together. This year was by far the best! Our food was lovely came out hot, on time and was really tasty. There was 22 of us so a lot to serve at one time! Staff were friendly. We have already booked again to come back next year.

Second visit and a disappointing drop off in standards from the first visit. Staff very friendly as before but the food was a notch or two downwards. Salad without dressing requested and delivered with dressing was an example. Still good value and if you’re staying at the nearby Holiday Inn it’s a reasonable place to eat.

The food was great, very quick on the service as we only had 1 hour for our team Christmas lunch.

Christmas Lunch for 24 all ordering off the normal menu, which all came out on time and in a timely manner, nobody was left waiting, not one complaint from any of the group, we were in and out in just over an hour which is perfect for lunch time.

We went to Catch Corner today for our Christmas lunch, there was around 40 of us and we only had 1 hour to eat, they served us promptly and was very well mannered. I had the bacon cheese burger and it was cooked very nicely, would highly reccomend

This is our first visit to Catch Corner in two years, it was a very pleasant surprise, very welcoming and extremely friendly,tastefully refurbished, the menu offered a variety of grills,and the usual favourites, the food arrived quickly and piping hot my husband had an 8oz sirloin steak rare with trimmings, this was to his liking and l had chicken fajitas, in all we enjoyed our visit and will certainly be going again Thankyou

I was staying at the Holiday Inn Expess next door, and to be honest I was only expecting a very basic ‘Brewers Fayre’ type experience. I was pleasantly surprised with the menu and with the food quality. The service was excellent, although it was quiet on this particular evening.

We stopped here on our way to Blackpool. There were 9 of us in total and we couldn’t have been made more welcome. They even permitted us to bring in our dog. We hadn’t been able to book a table in advance (I only tried online, I didn't try calling) but they were not phased by our large party turning up out of the blue! The traffic wasn’t with us so we just enjoyed a very relaxed and delicious meal before continuing on our very long journey from Kent to Blackpool. We weren't rushed at all. All in all a great place to stop for great food, excellent service and very accommodating friendly staff. We will definitely return again. Many thanks to all at the Catch Corner we left feeling rested and full!! In fact all the 'kids' (9, 15, 16 and 19 year olds) slept for a few hours in the car!!
